There are kits, gold leaf adhesive and finishes as well sols at art stores and on line. I'm sure an Acrylic medium will work, test it first. Plan to have GOLD dust everywhere, make sure the brush you use to apply the adhesive or glue is not used for anything else and wear gloves. Have fun because it's going to come out beautiful, even your first time.
And remember, all the little bits of gold or copper leaf that fall off can be picked up and used again because they didn't stick to any of the sizing (glue). You apply the sizing, wait for it to dry and it will feel tacky or a little sticky to the touch, then you apply the gold leaf. It's super easy to find directions on YT or the internet.
@@Synsan9327. Hi. Please help me out. I'm so confused. So first u will need to put water in the surface or glue on the surface? The same brush that is used to apply the water or glue must not be used for anything else and one must wear gloves in the process.
Вот интересно это покрытие надолго ? И как его можно протерать и чем .? Красиво но уж больно нежное покрытие.❤😂🎉❤😂🎉❤😂🎉❤😂🎉❤😂🎉 Перевести на английский❤😂🎉
Thank you for bringing back classic and elegant design that is timeless. I have gotten so bored of grey, black, and white. Keep up the wonderful work and content. Giving me countless ideas for when I purchase a home.
Do you have full videos? Like this one in particular do you have the entire video? Just because that looks like days of work and I’m wondering what something like that costs. Our house has that plain primer that you cover drywall with, throughout the entire house. We just moved in last November and have only done a couple accent walls, but we basically have an entire blank canvas for a house. You have really cool ideas and I think we want to try do imitate some of your methods on some walls and ceilings it’s very appealing and very unique. Also I guess my biggest question is why do you use those little squares vs metallic paints, is it because the metallic paints don’t actually look like gold or copper the way that those little squares do ? Also, don’t they come in larger sections, I imagine if they had rolls or even 1’x1’ pieces it would save you a lot of energy. Huge fan of you and your team’s work
@@shanetuma3845 yup and for centuries there have been different types of glues used for different jobs. Sending wishes of peace to you because it seems your burden is heavy.
So beautiful I've been wanting to know how long this type of design takes to get done,it's a lot of work and detail that goes in to laying each fool sheet down and then the Painting 🖌️🎨 on the beautiful pieces, murals flooring and etc.. I love it..Such A great and stunning job you all create, and I imagine the prices of your work would be expensive for this type of design. But worth it.❤❤❤ ..😊😊😊
I'm really curious as to what the labor costs and materials, specifically for the gold and copper leaves? Is that what it's called, or is it gold/copper/ sheets? Anyone, anyone? know anything more than I do about this beautiful finish work?
Yeah you're new to me keep posting cuz now I want to do a small room and gold leave and paint on the walls but I'm looking at your glazing and paints still learning very educational I can't wait to figure out what kind of space I want to do in the floors 2 my goodness so cool
Looks awesome, although it sorta looks like you painted what looks like copper corrosion as if your roof developed a leak and was comming down the walls.
And I can't even afford to paint my appartement or bring them to check for mold after 2 water leaks from above ( done out of menace) and water coming down an electric line.
Can you do a tutorial sometime? Would love to know what you use to adhere the gold leaf sheets and what you use to seal them.
A size (probably water based) and clear varnish on top. Size = the kind of glue used for gilding like this

OKAY NOW THIS IS STUNNING!!!!!
the end result shows the squares prominently near the stairs
There’s so much warmth in the copper leaf walls!
The owners must have been captivated by your work!❤

Olá!! Que material é esse que você usa dourado? É magnético, parabéns 👏🙏
cobre!
Can you tell me what the music is??
I like the copper way better than gold, tbh.

Not fitting for a steak house. Unappetising. It's like mold.
I’m loving the copper leaf! ❤
The square shapes are quite evidently there, looking super tacky
What do you do with the extra shavings on the floor?
I’m loving the copper leaf.😊
What type of paint do you use over the copper leaf?
May I ask u why did u choose gray color on that what kind harmony did u use? I like it but I’m curious
It's not grey, it's green. It's supposed to look like an aged copper wall. Cooper turns green, as it oxidizes.
Nice 👍 ty
This is art ❤
Coloca na sua essa art não dura 6 meses ta saindo tudo da parede
Omg you that’s insanely beautiful
Fantastic Job, love it 👍Greetings from Germany
I bet it smells like nasty metal in there 🤪
This is so beautiful. How do you adhere and seal the leaf?
Same way its been done for centuries. Glue.

Way too classy for a place called “Steak and Bake”
That is awesome. I want to do that
Absolutely Gorgeous. Please can I ask, what kind of “glue” and Leaf do you use? Thank you. New Fan here♥️😘
Amazing how something could look so beautifully rustic, worn down and uninviting :)
Perfect ☝️🙂

Also, I love the content :)
Luv it
I know artists thrive on commissions but the Steak sign was UGH to all that amazing work.
Exactly where I would have put it.
Brilliant
It looks completely dirty and moldy. You should have let it all shiny and neat since the beginning !
⭐️👌⭐️

The squares are annoying, does a 2nd coat get rid of them?
I would love to see the gorgeous copper without the patina
