Mina a newbie friendly? Thats bullshit. Second Kilik alrounded also bullshit. He's the newbie friendly and he dont get credits for that. His long range matchup is terrible and Very obvious basic playstyle and lacks damage.
@@dynasty0423 that's pretty much on the mark actually, Mina is quite beginner friendly to play and doesn't really have a complicated playstyle or gameplan. Kilik is also a decent all-rounded character who has tools for almost any situation, the only thing is his soul charge is difficult to use and requires good intuition and timing to use it effectively, which makes him less beginner friendly than Mina
@@ZER0SCmina does actually have a gameplan and it calls RANGE. She needs to stay on a certain range to be effective with the tip of her weapon. For that reason only she's already harder to play then Kilik so Mina is definitly NOT beginner friendly. So what you say is bullcrap.
Calibur characters are quite tricky to place in archetypes because most excel at several things while also having unique specialities. PW did a nice job of summarizing these aspects here.
I can tell you wich character I play. Siegfried. Sometimes Nightmare. It all started with SC 2 on the GameCube with Nightmare for me. His fighting style and character design where perfect (for me atleast). And since the following games Siegfried kept that style and Nightmare got his own, I always main Siegfried. But why that style is perfect for me, I can explain that. I like fighting games but I SUCK at combos. With Nightmare (sc2) I could play without real combos, and also no button smashing. I can beat sc2 on the highest difficulty setting with Nightmare. The later games I played online with Siegfried ofcourse. There I won quite a lot of matches. Lost ofcourse against really good players since I cannot combo.
Actually for Amy White rose is the best to go for, with her 22K.B(on contact) it’s a very great punish for vertical attacks and that makes white roses way easier to get, and white rose perception makes it was easier getting red roses, u can punish people with 234B which I believe is an i16 punish and u can throw a red rose after u knocked down ur opponent.
Taki was less than ten second omfg 😂 Taki’s archetype is defense keep away and punishment. Punishment being that she has an A:6 i10 Horizontal high/Mid Knockdown 4B i12 Vertical Slash A6 i15 Mid horizontal knockdown 3B i16 Launcher Her keep away moves are: 44B, which does 20% guard damage and adds one stock towards attack buffs 6B, safe poke that pushes the opponent away and leaves them -10 A+B on oki can either push her opponent away if they are grounded, or leave them -2 if they decide to block it. Though she is short range, she has speed and her kit does allow for frame traps. Attacks like her i7 moves allow her to check her opponent at -4. Her main Lethal Hit, A6, is a fine example of defensive play. Defending and positioning yourself to get a side hit with her A6. This attack would allow for good oki set ups or long ring out or wall carry.
Hi im a taki main. i play her since soul calibur 2 thx for your explanation of takis fighting style. dont know why they did her so short in the video. i just have a question. what do the controls mean like i7 or A6..i know tekken has their fighting game community controls language but i dont know SC's... maybe you know where i can see what the controls mean
As a Xianghua main u can honestly play her both defensively and offensively her 44 B has a built in back step great for Sophie or talim depending on the range can work on the bigger sword characters but it depends on the opponent
Thats because she was unbalanced/broken at the same in sc 4due to ring out capabilities. In sc 5 and 6 its the other way around she destroys Siegfried and is even better in everything.
This dude knows nothing about soul calibur. As a nightmare main his grab reach is probably the worst in the game. His soul charge stays upon couple charges one charges his sword two charges his whole body and successful hits keep charge as he wants more. Very hard to learn and very aggressive
you'll find Party Wolf actually knows an outstanding amount of Calibur lmao. As a Nightmare main you should know that his grab range is not anywhere close to being the worst lmfaooo. he's fairly easy to learn too KEK
Big up Party Wolf!!

I agree I main tira abd theirs a reason why she has a low chance to change moods. Imagine I change moods in hit she would be OP
Jae doing Soul Calibur content? This man is for the community for sure.
I like playing Ivy, Siegfried, and Tira.
They all have fun moves I enjoy trying out
My personal favourite characters to play are Zasalamel, Raphael and Talim, all though my all time favourite is Setsuka (I liked her more in SC3)
Amazing job my dude. thanks for the support, the game kind of need it.
Glad I could help

Literally the exact type of video I was looking for. Thank you
Little did we know, Zas has the uncanny ability to catch your house on fire (or at least set your alarm off)
Love it keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!

She's basic, + Low damage not the best character.
Whats the song at the beginning of the video?
Can’t say I agree with the hilde being the best character in sc4. I destroyed her with seigfried every match
