Was following a recipe by an idiot from a book, no word about the chilling and the fact that only the cream part should be used, wadted good 10 minutes making "mixed coconut cream"

My advice to you is try to open the can upside down when you take it out of the fridge, that way you can pour off the liquid and you left with the cream. Thanks

Or you can not let them mix, by keeping liquid at the bottom and carefully scooping cream from the top

Easiest way to get the liquid out, punch a hole through the bottom where the liquid is and drain it into a cup in case you need to use it later.

Anna L th-cam.com/video/Ji0ZFybqWD8/w-d-xo.html Not healthier. It [(coconut oil)] tastes good but plant-based does not make it healthier, [although most vegetable oils are pretty good]. It has slightly more fat content by the same volume and its saturated fat is almost double that of the heavy cream but there is more to it. This video link addresses all that. [Edited. More specific.]

Found the information somewhat helpful, but other videos keep it more concise.
Also, a couple of those cans that you said had good consistency (i.e. the 365) seemed pretty chalky when you showed the footage of scooping them out of the can. Maybe clarify what your idea of “good consistency” is?
Lastly, no need to repeat your tips, just fold them into your instructions.

So I put 2 cans of 365 coconut cream in the fridge over night it was cream not milk I typed in milk and this came up so around 4pm I put both cans in the fridge and took out 4pm next day didn’t look like the video still cream didn’t separate however I mixed for 5 min and 😍 added monk fruit powered sweetener and vanilla and I’m satisfied.

I whipped my coconut cream without chilling it and saw that this was actually a crucial step! I kept everything in a bowl and am chilling it overnight. Wonder if it will still whip…

I really can't focus with that crazy music in the background. It's too loud to be subtle. Not trying to be mean but it would be better if you started the video with a little music and maybe between speaking but it's really a distraction when you're talking. I couldn't have the video up too loud because then that music was too loud, had to listen to it low and read your lips ughh

@@kwelyroos71 The automatic captions are better than nothing but to really catch everything, you need proper ones that are so often missing. If you have a hearing impairment then you could really struggle.

Lol it didn’t bother me one bit, but we are all sensitive to different frequencies there was obviously something in that music which was jarring for you

I barely even noticed the music. You’re just easily distracted.

SAVOY and AROY-D brands are both produced by Thai Agri Foods. The problem with these is, I believe the cans have BPA.

We haven't tried that, but are thinking it would require a combination of oils + coconut cream to create the best result.
