Swami Sarvapriyananda : Swami Sarvapriyananda has been appointed as Minister and Spiritual Leader of the Vedanta Society of New York, and assumed his duties here on January 6, 2017.  Prior to this, he served as assistant minister of the Vedanta Society of Southern California for 13 months, beginning on December 3, 2015. Swami joined the Ramakrishna Math and Mission in 1994 and received Sannyas in 2004. Before being posted to the VSSC’s Hollywood Temple, Swami served as an acharya (teacher) of the monastic probationers’ training center at Belur Math. He has served the Ramakrishna Math and Mission in various capacities including being the Vice Principal of the Deoghar Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Principal of the Shikshana Mandira Teacher Education College at Belur Math, and the first Registrar of the Vivekananda University at Belur Math.
Really sad to see so many ads disturbing the meditation when you are following his instructions and are in a deeper meditative state. The channel owner: I request you to add all the ads in the beginning of the video and please let the purpose of this meditation be served 🙏
I am disgusted with TH-cam for disturbing meditation with their inane commercials which destroys the meditation. I wish Swami would find another method to dispense his wisdom than TH-cam.

Very good technique; spoilt by the silly commercials so often. At least for once, can’t it be commercial free? Have them after the meditation course is over.
this "awareness" swami speaks of isn't the ultimate aim of meditation and knowledge of it isn't enlightenment. in other words, it's not the Self. so i wonder why he stops with that in his meditation?
That awareness is only the self and the aim of meditation and knowledge. However experiencing that awareness briefly isn't enlightenment, enlightenment Is when you fully realise that indeed that awareness is your true nature
