Hey this just got on my recommended. Nice to see an upcoming channel for Trek out there - I think I'm gonna subscribe. Nice one on 1K+ subs! With the upcoming section 31 ... um... "thing" releasing soon maybe you could get ahead of the game do a retrospective on section 31 in ds9, enterprise, discovery - and what we know of them at point we last saw Emperor ? just an idea anyway... nice vid and nice review of an often overlooked area of trek novels :)
I remember reading this one, and selling it off with a bunch of other Trek books at a small convention a few years later . For me it never 'hit' as strongly as I felt it should have . Don't be mad at the continuity errors -- there are a lot of them in the books, and their numbers grow as the quality degrades as the releases get closer to the year 2000 . I remember quitting reading Trek books in the mid to late 90's, as the Pocket Books offerings were edited at the time by people who I'm not sure graduated highschool . But then again I read the original Frank Herbert Dune books around that time, and my perception of the quality & editing of the Trek books franchise may have been colored somewhat by that experience . 😅 As for recommendations , off hand I remember enjoying a TNG book titled Vendetta by Peter David . It tied together the pre-Queen Borg with The Doomsday Machine from TOS . You might like it .
