It always amazes me how many Hemi vehicles have survived. Here in Wisconsin they were rare when new, possibly due to the fact by this point the insurance companies were charging exorbitant rates on muscle cars. The ‘68-‘70 Chargers have always been a favorite of mine. The design is absolutely timeless. My uncle had a ‘68 and when he traded it for a ‘71 I was disappointed.
HEMI Charger '70. One of *112* (nope, didn't forget any digit) made that year. I laugh at those Ferrari/McLaren owners/enthusiasts blurting about their "collectible" cars. Tell them about the 1969 Corvette ZL-1 or the 1971 Hemicuda Convertible, and watch them cry in pain... Muscle Cars had everything already 50 years ago : Power. Style. Exotism. And they weren't even expensive. Props to those guys still driving them to this day. Muscle Cars FOREVER. :D

I drove a beautiful blue 70 Coronet 500 383 4 727 all through college with every option except power windows which I never liked anyway. Fast, fun and very reliable. Now I'm retired and have a 66 383 727 Charger that I love.

I have never driven it. I purchased the car along with a 69 f6 green RT from a guy six months ago. The engine in the 70 had a spun bearing and it had the 69 motor in it. the motor will be done in a week but I still have to do rear frame rail s and trunk floor. I'm really looking forward to driving it hopefully by mid summer-I m not doing a concours resto just getting it back on the road. my 70 also has the C stripe with burnt orange but has a black gator grain top and black interior. my car came out of Minneapolis the owner told me back in the late 70 -my 69 was purchased new in Appleton WI

Super smart guy buying this great Chrysler product before Craig Jackson and Dana Mecum made it impossible for working stiffs to buy these cars. Beautiful.
Had a 69 Coronet R/T, Burnt orange, I got off my brother. He needed a $1200 loan. Early '90's. I thought he'd never pay me back. Simple mods. Electronic ignition, rebuilt Holley double pumper with new Hooker headers. 727 torque flight. With a shift kit. Back then I hated that colour. I could deal with that car now. Burn a tank of fuel in under an hour, and break the tires free at 30 mph.
