It’s kinda funny how this is actually pretty good compared to the recent Terminator movies since the movies are stuck in the cycle where they can’t stop copying Terminator 2.
Terminator Resistance and its Annihilation Line DLC are the true Terminator 3, especially with how perfectly it bookends the first two movies. The fact the devs went from Rambo The Video Game to *this* is the biggest step up in quality I've ever seen from any developer.
The moment I saw a soldier modeled in Robert Patrick's likeness dead on a chair, and a note explaining how the soldier would be used for the T-1000 model one day... I knew this game was made by legitimate, passionate fans of this franchise.

Watching Kevduit play and get owned by stray bullet, it cemented the fact for me that IGN and other "game journalists" don't know what they're talking about. The reviewer complained the enemies were inept and underpowered, because maybe they were playing on easy mode. 🤣
in all fairness, the games balance was severely busted at launch, the hardest difficulty mode was more like medium after the rebalancing patch. Most of their takes were dogshit but at the time that was true. But that was fixed like 2 months after launch
One thing nowadays i hate about gaming is graphics (and realism). If it looks realistic it deserves awards and if it looks like a game it gets bombed. If a game has unrealistic features, it's now a minus to most players. Almost like the game you created can only be good if it compares to real life.. Maybe people should just go out and role-play😂
I will say that in the daytime levels the game doesn't look great. But on the night time levels, the game honestly looks amazing at times. The moon light peering through the crumbled ruins while killer red eyes peer through the blue fog, it just looks great.

I bought this game on Steam a couple years ago because the reviews were so good and it's so unbelievably fun. Got me to go back and re-watch all the Terminator movies (even the bad ones). It's such a love letter to fans while still being a genuinely good game. It's wildly underrated and I'm glad you played it!
Got this game on sale on March 6th. It’s currently the 10th and I’m pretty sure I’m 75% done with it. I’m absolutely LOVING it so far. As some people and reviewers said, if you love the original movies you’ll love this game. Sticks pretty close to the source material. Gameplay is a hit or miss for some if not most people
This game is a pure "just for fans" experience... It's not terrible at anything, but if you want tight gameplay, and a deep and meaningful story, it's not the best choice. But if like me, you are a HUGE fan of the franchise, just seeing how many big and small nods to the movies there are, you can't help but love it. Especially when you consider that the game was made on an absolutely tiny budget!

Just came off this game recently, and it actually reignited my love for the franchise. The gameplay isn't anything new or innovative, but the visuals, weaponry, missions, terrain and level design actually make me feel like I AM the protagonist and not just playing. Having to hide from HK Aerials, skulking around in that terrifying hospital mission, and blowing the shit outta the Ts afterward with increasingly powerful weapons is how a game should feelø.
Am late to say this but this is the same dev that made Robocop Rogue City, i played this 1st and thats why i knew that Robocop was gonna be good and stay true to the lore of the movies while adding in their own story into the mix. While graphics aren't as good as a AAA title but the gameplay and story was just *Chef's kiss*. This is the game that delivered the future war we all wanted and best is that it kept true to the lore of the movies while adding in their own story and characters.

This game looks like amazing fun. Playing on extreme looks like the canon experience!
Extreme mode + no hud + no xray goggles. turns the game into a fun fps with light rpg elements into a survival horror immersive sim
Fun Fact: in the hospital you can find the body of a resistance soldier who looks just like Robert Patrick
I didn't even know this existed, i go buy it right now.
If they can make a decent Terminator game, then maybe there’s hope they can make a good Terminator movie again soon
This was by far the funniest Terminator:Resistance video I've ever watched.
Kev never fails to make me laugh again and again here,it's just so good
Glad you enjoyed this, was so crazy fun to play!
@@Kevduit I sure did!I've been looking for a good playthrough of the game for a while now so it's nice to actually find one, especially when it's from you
Thanks fr coming to the same conclusion Kev, fuck those pathetic excuses of game "reviewers" giving it a low score.
I was doubtful at first also especially because of the rambo game but Gmanlives review convinced me to play it and i loved it.
Civvie11 review is pretty good too, recommend it
He didn't shoot the red bottles of death, do you even terminator.
11:50 I didn't know the merchant from Resident Evil 4 was in this
"You could just say clankers my guy" 🤣🤣🤣 A tier line
I don't know why but that sidestepping Patrick was scariest thing I saw in a game in a while...
I remember I watched a TH-camr play this when the game came out and I say it’s go to be a really cool game but now Kev has played it now I remember this game
It may have not been the Terminator game we wanted, but it's the Terminator game we needed.
"Eat! Consume! Consume the Band-Aids!" Killed me 😂😂😂
Robocop and this game Terminator Resistance play amazing in VR with the UEVR Injector mod.
Hi mate! I just laughed my @ss off listening to your commenting during this video. Usually I prefer gameplay videos without commentary, but you are golden commedy! :D
Hey thanks, I appreciate that! That was genuine fear I was experiencing, haha
“I bet the terminators peed in there” 😂😂😂💀💀💀
Kev you literally don't miss. huge fan of your psychopath videos 😅
This game is for people who miss the terminator mode for ghost recon breakpoint
Yo, I hope there’s a part two this please 🙏
I just started playing this yesterday. Absolutely love this game. So much nostalgia.
Anyone see at 15:10 that it looks like the T-1000?
Yup!
Got this game on sale on March 6th. It’s currently the 10th and I’m pretty sure I’m 75% done with it. I’m absolutely LOVING it so far. As some people and reviewers said, if you love the original movies you’ll love this game. Sticks pretty close to the source material. Gameplay is a hit or miss for some if not most people
Get the DLC, its even better than the main campaign imo
@@jayceneal5273 already got it and been told good things about it, can’t wait
I completed this and it's DLC as recent as January 2024. Addicting game.
I hope they make a proper Rambo game sometime.
Just stumbled upon your content and about 7 minutes in I swear you have moments in your voice make me think Seth Rogen is playing🤣🤣 and I’m glued☠️☠️
Finally, I found my people 😂 I came to say the same thing!
This was better than the movies. Better than it has any right to be. 😂
The dead resistance soulder at 15:10 is straight up just Robert Patrick. That detail is amazing.
Damn, I need a second part now.
This game was surprisingly good, I wish we got another Terminator game.
There is another Terminator game it's on steam
terminator dark fate defiance was just released, hell netflix is working on an anime if you want to wait a little
@@mranderson9553 the question is how good is the anime series going to be when Netflix releases it
@@nightfire43 netflix originals actually has some bangers, there's always a throw of the dice with shows like these but at the very least we shouldn't go in expecting something bad
Terminator Survivors comes out this october on steam
11:48 Bro you got saved by the RE4 Merchant XD
I have this 😂 and loved it. Just wish it was longer 😢. Ths music and vibe are spot on with growing up watching Terminator 2 when it came out way back when. Glorious 👌
15:10 isn't that T-1000?
The sound effects for the lock picking are the exact same ones from the fallout games 🤩
More people have seen that video than "Terminator Genesis".
I will play this game at sometime in the year but I love when people play this game I do love the combat system
It is funny to think of a military AI taking over the world in 1997 when in reality it’s 2024 and all our AI does is make anime girls and our homework.
And even then they can't do that well XD On top of the fact that any time one is given a body it goes outside and borderline offs itself in whatever way it can. Or each other.
