@@1upgdotcom Day9 was the best, by far, for the short time he cast games. And I loved Tastosis but probably more for the laughs, sometimes hysterical, rather than their casting. But sure, Winter is up there right now. Never biased too, thats the most important thing, in todays sick biased casting scene!

I only watched game one so far and it's already ridiculous. What an absolutely insane level of play, these tvt are nightmare fuel for the plebs such as myself. The control, the positioning, the momentum of these pushes, it's all top tier and a single mistake can swing the whole thing.

iirc Anti Armor Missile reduces the number of shots it needs for a viking to kill another one by 1, so it's actually very effective, it's like you have an upgrade advantage
Anti armor missile reduces armor by 3, and vikings have 2 attacks so it's +6 damage for them. it's insane
Have Terrans forgoteen they can use Ghost's EMP againts Ravens?

I´m pretty sure someone of the caliber of Clem and Byun should be able to micro that composition with no problem. I mean, if it works for me, a gold player, it should do wonders for them. Not sure Cure can micro them as well though.
Must say it was one of the few games I have seen with No ghosts. Can you fault them. Where would you find the amp to use them effectively?

@@Mike-fl3zx Because its about the timing, you have to wait for the opponent to go mass Raven before making some Ghost, otherwise its just a waste of resource to pre-emp the Ghost production against non-Raven army. And with how much vision you have in TvT, its hard to sneak a Ghost in and EMP all the opponent Ravens. It works for you because you play against Gold players (no offense), but not that easy for these guys at the top. Btw, I think Maru tried this before, maybe in one of the GSL match last year where he made Ghost to deal with mass Raven, but it didnt work out.
1:35:00 only a small amount of marines dropped out; was the purpose to lure Cure into a false sense of security? Or did Maru fuck up?

So on even upgrades, anti armor missile doesn't do jack shit.
Also going armor first instead of attack is better as it increases the hits to kill by 1. (That's where anti armor actually matters then.)
TvT looks so insanely stressful. There's so much micro, and one wrong move and everything dies.

At 17.17 Cure shouldn't have turned around. if he'd unloaded that drop - game over, then and there. And I think that sums up the difference in players. You gotta be bold!

You can't just play the fusion core music and then say "I don't want to get people excited". As soon as that music plays longer that 2 seconds the people are excited!!!

you see winter, you always say pvp is so random and such a poker match, but in pvp you have perfect scouting information at virtually all points, the probe stops any cheese, and sentry hallucinations give you a 30sec repeat scout, it's like playing poker with open hands
while that game 3, looked like a build order win of sorts, im sure that hellion push from maru would do really well, if cure didn't line up that 2 base tank push/all-in, after the initial scouting scv, scouting in tvt becomes extremly difficult, you cant get past the wall, a scan is too expensive, and jumping a reaper in is not only unreliable but may also lose you the game if youre missing that reaper.
so i feel like tvt is way more of a "dogs playing poker" game than pvp
edit: Even if you consider that the probe will scout the lack of a 2nd pylon and you still don't know what proxy/cheese it will be because you may not find it. You can still systematically search for it to rule out options 1 by 1 and a stargate counters all of them, proxy robo? void ray. proxy twilight? oracle, either for detection or killing their workers. proxy stargate? phoenix.
Also based on the gas spend on the first 2 units you can rule out possibilities very well, or the push will come so late it's ineffective.
You basically have perfect information at all times.
The best cross race match up is TvZ, the best mirror match up is TvT according to the viewer polls. Your opinion simply an unpopular one, a bad taste it is for a protoss fanboy.
