    Looks great, and you're making money without the cost of a truck mount. I myself have an 800 psi portable mytee vortex lite with a mytee heater automatic feed and pump out, and I am cleaning residential and commercial carpet very well, for guys who are running portables all you really need is good chemistry and get a CRB for agitation and you can clean carpet all day

    • @carpetcleaning999

      That's absolutely correct. 99% no downtime. And cheaper to maintain. And we have excellent drying times and results.

    Why is it called cheater hose?

    • @carpetcleaning999
      @carpetcleaning999  หลายเดือนก่อน

      😂 good question. Some call it a whip as well. I guess the 1.5 inch connects to the 2inch, so instead the technician is working with a full 2 inch hose all the way, to make it easier for himself he connects the 1.5 inch hose.

    • @daviddang82
      @daviddang82 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@carpetcleaning999is it just due to the weight? Do you lose airflow and suction going to 1.5?

    • @carpetcleaning999
      @carpetcleaning999  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@daviddang82yes it could be due to the weight as well that's easy to manage, in a way you're cheating 😂
      If you only use 1.5 from your machine to the wand you will notice a significant difference vs to 2 inch. If you use a long cheater hose lets say 25 feet, yiu will still notice the difference vs to full 2 inch but still better than the dirst option. And the shorter your cheat hose you will barely notice any difference vs to full 2 inch hosr runs. This is why my 1.5 inch is short as my arms length.

    Have you compared the monsoon to the TMF dually? I like the monsoon but at 500 psi, it won’t be able to spin a tile cleaner as those need 800 psi

    • @carpetcleaning999
      @carpetcleaning999  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, I haven't compared it, but if I can know what vacs they use and if it's in parallel or series, I can compare that way. However, I have a tile spinner, and with 500 psi, my monsoon does spin it. But you still have to pre-scrub the grout lines because it's not going to be as effective as 800-1200 psi. The pressure of 500 psi won't cut the dirt as it will of higher psi. That's why you need to pre scrub it. Another option is to get a tile wand with bristles that agitates when rinsing the tiles.

      Hey buddy, I have 2 mytee machines and both gave me electrical issues, one I almost had a fire, thank God my son caught it, I had to get it rewired, I got my monsoon on Feb of 2023 and 0 issues. I am not comfortable to switch it back to my mytee machines that they're collecting dust in my garage. 200psi is not enough. Highly highly recommend the 500psi. 200 psi is more like for upholstery, you need at least 380-400psi for filthy carpets.

      I've almost had a fire, too, and it seems like I'm always having to change the switches out. Also the auto dump feature stop working only a couple months after having the machine. So frustrating.
      Does the monsoon have 3 cords?
      Also, Did I see that you run a water otter for your psi?
      Thanks again brother.

    • @carpetcleaning999
      @carpetcleaning999  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DasVikingyes I run a water otter and I love to use it because of high water flow that will speed up my work, I keep my 500 psi as a backup. And I also like how I can switch between my Acid and like rinse jugs for the job type. For your auto dump pump to last longer make sure you have an external filter like mine, I clean my filter back at the end of the day. I also flush my waste tank daily as well. Monsoon comes with a small internal filter bag and I don't use it because it will fill up very quickly. The tmf boss filter is big with lots if space and usually lasts me for the whole day. I also recommend van's filter, easy to open it.

    • @carpetcleaning999
      @carpetcleaning999  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you. So the way the water works is that the water comes cold from the barrel thats sitting inside the truck to the pump first and then the pump transfers the water to the heater and the heater heats it up and the water goes to the wand.

      @Beluel 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      My question is : What are the advantages od series compared to parallel? And how that affect CFM and water lift? Thank you@@carpetcleaning999

    • @carpetcleaning999
      @carpetcleaning999  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Beluel parallel set up it will give you higher cfm but ok lift, for some people it's not enough lift. With series setup is the opposite higher lift but lower cfm. We need both. Today's newest vac motors will give you both. The zx and the lx vacs both have the capability of high cfm and high lift. To achieve this, both vac motors have to be set up in series.
      Why do we need both? Lift is the part where the hose or the wand pick (lifts) the water from the carpet, cfm is the part where it carries that water through the hose to the waste tank. Without one the vacuum will not perform well and we won't be able to clean carpets.

If you have any suggestions I will appreciated. Thank for the help .

    • @carpetcleaning999
      @carpetcleaning999  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BeluelI have only used the ninja classic, cfx, mytee portables and the monsoon. Ninja classic with dual 3 stage vacs in series will lack of cfm but you can still use it effectively with in 25ft of hose run up to 50ft but at 50ft it won't be as effective and you'll have to make extra dry passes. The cfx with dual 3 stage in parallel with high cfm and ok lift can produce great suction up to 75 feet of 1.5 inch of hose run and will give some great dry times. But the cfx doesn't have a fresh water tank. The mytee extractors have great amount of power but their main issue is the electrical. I wouldn't suggest any other machines. Check with steambrite they may have smaller powerful machines.

    • @carpetcleaning999
      @carpetcleaning999  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey buddy, the Goliath was designed very poorly, the manifolds started to leak air because of 4 vacuum vibration those manifolds damaged easily.The difference is not huge between the 2 machines. Goliath with 4 vacs vs 2 vacs. Goliath produces 150 lift with 300 cfm and the mansoon with 230 lift and 250 cfm. Both machines will give great power at 200 ft of hose but its easy to power the mansoon vs the Goliath because of only 2 vacs.
