I appreciate your videos Bryan! Very insightful! I'm an accountant major and just got a job at a credit union and they have a professional dress code. This is all new to me, could you do a video where you further break down the names of all the different pieces of clothing that make up business casual and professional outfits. I didn't know what chino's were till you addresses them. Things like that. Just like the names of everything. Thank you!
Hi, Thanks for the video, l just wanted to ask how formal is your office? l recall in years gone by that accountants had to wear proper suits and only three colours were allowed, black, blue and grey. At the same time, they had to have briefcases all the time, though this has fallen out of use. By the way at that time, you were not allowed to mix a pair of trousers and a jacket they had to be a complete suit. Later l recall talking to one guy who told me when they first went on site they dressed very well but they would then dress to match the level of management, ie if they are not strictly formal they would be at the same level,' if they were very formal the same. Anyway, l am just interested to know how is it for you?
bobo jo hey! Thanks for watching! Honestly it has gotten a lot more casual in recent years. Even when I started in public accounting 5 years ago it was a bit more formal but now it’s a lot more casual! A lot of the big firms even have dress for the day policy. If you are at a client site I would say follow the tone of management but even then it’s gotten a lot more casual over the years
Damn my boy has style! Latinos stand up!
ayeee... YA TU SABES
Somehow the CFO and I always seem to be wearing the same thing. I think I'm doing alright so far!
