I was 20 working part-time and in college making 9$ an hr (which was more than min wage) as a cashier. I lived w/my boyfriend and he was working part-time and in college too, he stocked shelves in a grocery store for 11$ an hr graveyard shift. I don't know how we did it? But we are married now, full swing in our careers and look back and are grateful for our baby selves struggles.

That’s going to be the higher ups, and if the shares do well, the the people who own lots of stock. Ok, just looked it up: the guy who founded lvmh, the company who owns, lv, fendi, CD, and many other brands, he’s worth 195.7 BILLION, that’s BILLION. Crazy, huh 😱

As with any salary package, what you take home is heavily dependent on cost of living in that specific city/region. My hourly rate doing my full time summer job in my city was the highest in the UK and looked so good on paper. However, in practice my monthly salary for the summer was just enough for 2-3months rent, personal commute and maybe some for books.
In my situation, I also had to take away work commute costs so real take home pay was lower.
