I think the 750K model was more of their sport tourer than the F….which I always considered their performance model….for everyone who couldn’t afford (or handle) the CBX that is. It sure is a sweet lookin bike that’s for sure!! Great job!!!!
G'day Ken. Your mate is one lucky fella to have this beautifully restored Honda. The sound is awesome, the look is just bloody perfect and anyone that rode these bikes in the '70s -'80s would love to have this particular bike in their garage. You have done such a great job bringing this girl back to her former glory, so from now on, your title will be "Legend"!! Bravo brother. Stay safe, have fun.
Hi Ken, I got to watch the whole thing on my big screen. Very, very nice. Thank you! A lot of my pals owned this bike when I was at university and working at the steelworks. It was very popular. It was in the price range of us trainees as a second hand bike while the 900s were just too expensive. As I said, the big deal was the stopping power. That was very different. The brakes were even better than the Z750s and their triple disks. When we went riding these 750s could out accelerate my Z650 but because I had a shorter wheel base and was slightly lighter I could get around tight corners faster than 750s. But for long rides on our straight roads even I would say the 750 was a notch above mine for comfort and easy handling and riding. The slightly longer wheel base had it sit on the road just that little bit better. The guys who rode them loved them. Many of them kept these 750s even when they got the money to afford the 900s. They were a very good all round touring bike. Great on the long hauls we have in Australia. I am just amazed that it brushed up so well and runs so well. It's really stunning. Makes me want to get one but I am just too old! LOL! Thanks again for the video. These really make my day. You make me feel young and slim again! LOL! PS. The note is perfect....not too loud at all.
@@Yo-Ken I only had a couple of short rides on them so I can't talk from first hand riding experience. But we used to go for bike rides on Sundays and a couple of guys had these. So I got to see them close up. They were a very nice ride for sure. In the summer, on Sundays, we used to ride up "Macquarie Pass and then down Kangaroo Valley just south of Wollongong. There were 100 of us guys living in a steel works dorm as trainees at the steelworks. About 10 guys had bikes in the dorm. Other guys who lived in regular houses would also come along on the rides. The ride up was HUGE fun because the road was very winding and we used to race up to the top. It was exactly what you would imagine 18 year old kids in their first year out from "under mums thumb" would live life like in the dorm. There was even a bar on the same block so we didn't have to walk across a road to go drinking. A LOT of drunk riding was done in those days! LOL! This was before DUI laws etc. There were 21,000 people working at the steelworks, including a lot of trainees, so there were a lot of people with bikes at the steelworks as well.
Hi! I have the same bike you have which I just recently got last year. I really like the tires you have on yours. Could you please tell me what size and brand tires you have? I'd be greatly appreciated on your response.
Absolutely love it. Such fanatic memories. Thanks K-man.

Thanks man, yeah the k is more for touring, I guess.
Looks beautiful Ken. I will watch the whole video on my big screen later. The phone does not do this justice.
Thanks Peter.
@@Yo-Ken Yeah, you can't watch these on a phone.
In the process of restoring a 79’ CB750F! Looking forward to getting it good for the road!
Sounds like a dream love the old dash… the rider not so much hahahah
Lol.
I had that exact bike less the rack. I put about 7k miles on it and was very happy with it. I traded it in for the 1st year Honda VF750F Interceptor.
Interceptor, very cool bike.
🤘 🌟 🤘

Thanks Andy,. its time to find another one. I'm looking to find an older sport bike. You have and suggestions... late 90's early 2000's maybe.

Thanks Peter, my pleasure... its such a fun bike to ride, and see why it was so popular.
