This was my first bike as a Bōsōzoku girl back in Japan.
It had custom fairings with a Mitsubushi Zero paint job.
Loved it so many memories of running wild thru Tokyo on it.
Wish I had one over here in Scotland.
Currently on a personally customised 96ci Harley FXDB Street Bob but changing soon to a Yamaha XV1900 - cant wait!

As far as Japanese Motorcycle's I owned only 3.
My first was a brand new Yamaha 80 then I moved up to a Honda 400 Hawk that was used in excellent condition two cylinders two carburetors to exhaust pipes I paid $500 for it was a great bike after that was a brand new Honda 750 4 cylinders four carburetors for exhaust pipes great motorcycle never had any problems with any of them
This bike holds one of the worst memories for me. At 17, I watched a Good Friend get killed on his. Was a bad night. One that I've lived far to many times!! Riders For Ever!!! Right!! Still got my 75 F!! We've done/did a lot for miles together before and after. Always in my thoughts, Brother!! RIP Eric, I still owe you a big one. Say Hi to Tracy for me, Please!!
Sorry to hear that however everybody I know that rides a motorcycle I believe knows one person that either got killed or got injured very badly comes with the territory when driving a two-wheel vehicle especially when there is no room for error and then you mix in cars trucks so on I was actually hit by a car on the way to work with my Honda 750 it's now many years later and I'm still suffering from back pain
I owned a new one when they came out and bought another 40 years later, great bike for it’s time.
I have 1 brand new looks drives like first day my 2nd same machine since early 80s till now I got create survivor look beautiful all OG super Nice with kerk pipes like new gorgeous show Bike first place winner 🏆

that is a very good and "accurate review" of the 1979-82 Honda CB750F. Nice job and video as well.
I was a Honda dealer service manager here in San Diego when those were new and flogged many of them (and every other bike I got my hands on) all over here.
I liked all the "F" models.
I was Service Writer at Old PB Honda (near the beach. next to Kontiki motorcycles) and ran "New" PB Honda's Service Department (up near Highway 5) for a couple of years.
A few comments;
That bottom end (of the engine) rubble at idle indicates that the carbs need to be resynched. When all is right, there is no abnormal noise like that.
Soft shoes (that don't protect your ankles) don't allow for a firm clean shift. A steel toe boot is far better.
Low/no leverage Clip-ons and/or "Clubman" handlebar, without rear sets (that Honda offered as an accessory) make for a miserable riding position unless you are a serious mountain rider or do track days or road racing.
What is called a "Superbike" handlebar (also a Honda Accessory then and still available in the aftermarket) is a far better choice than the stock handlebar.
It/ that bike is in DIRE need of New tires. A set of Metzler Lazertec would be a very good choice.
One Mod that would REALLY help (since you are needing tires anyway) is find a Comstar 18" front wheel and ditch the 19". The bike will turn far better than with the stock wheel. The Honda CX500/650 Turbo's had that size wheel. I think there may have been a few others. It's well worth the effort to do that Mod.
Get rid of those stock shocks (they were pretty much junk (ie no damping) even when new) and get some proper & slightly longer gas shocks (Progressive Suspension, Koni's, Work's Performance, Ohlins, etc) with springs matched to you and the bike's weight.
SPEND the money!!!
You don't have to be a racer to appreciate how you were able to dodge that blind old lady who just turned left in front of you!!!!
Good luck with the sale of your bike. Having written many crash estimates, it looks to be very straight, at least from all the angles I could see in the video.
If I wasn't deep into Electric 2 wheelers now, and too old to be "sporty", I'd consider your bike a good buy and with the modes I suggest, a really fun and competent bike.

I owned this bike 1982 but in silver. Dang sure wish i still had it.
If you're a bike guy and you say that he gave a reliable and accurate review then you were able to catch the two mistakes that he made. The first technical mistake he made was in the very beginning when he was going over the engine he stated that was a four-cylinder double overhead cam that part was true. The mistake he made was when he was driving it he said it's clear as day I'm enjoying the sound of a typical Honda four-cylinder single overhead cam engine. Confusing people that are trying to learn his second mistake was very minor as English is probably not his first language as I hear the accent he was talking about that it was getting 35 miles per gallon as far as gas mileage was concerned and by accident he said 35 miles per hour gas mileage that I can understand the first mistake should have been changed before he released the video onto TH-cam as you don't want to mislead the newbies.
I love all kinds of motorcycles, but I entirely love the sound of an air-cooled 4 the best.
I had a new Honda 750 in 1984.
My speedometer did not stop at 85 although one of my new cars did have that feature that I hated. I wasn't the original owner of the car I actually picked up the payments from my father-in-law that's how I ended up with that car the motorcycle I bought brand new on my own

I didn't know the 750 *_had_* DOHC, and I was def around then. lol Wow, that engine looks awesome from the side!
I had a new one in 1984 it was double overhead cam and my speedometer thank God did not have that restriction of 85 mph however one of my new cars had that on it I will never forget it
was a Pontiac.
I had 81 silver with blue stripes...it was a blast. I miss it.

I have an '80 750k that I just recently finished building. I'll never get rid of it.
Got my 75 F in 79 with a kill under her belt and a crunched front end. 8 rebuilds and 300k++ miles she now sits with a 912cc big bore kit and $8600 in new parts.

My buddy Eddie had the black 82 750f super sport that had original breather box and exhaust. At a roll you could clutch it and open it up, it would raise the front tire an inch or so and start smoking the back tire then you'd need a good 10 minutes to calm your nerves and get your hands from shaking. That bike would srceam. Idk if it was bone stock or slightly jetted with a small cam but looked absolutely stock. This was in tn back around 86/88. You have a gorgeous bike. Ebay sales oem decal kits. They'll only go up in value especially in stock condition. Should have it repainted original color with decals but that blue sure looks sweet

This was my 1st street bike I bought from my neighbor in 1986 for only $750 dollars I have so many fond memories of this bike it was great but too much for me at age 16 being a 130 pounds.and not a care in the world..

I have the Last Year same bike NOS Like New gorgeous like came out create ✨️ this is my 2nd same bike since mid 80s my previous was stock original Show Bike 77 CB W/ 4 in to1 Kerker Exhaust no baffle and Great set up carbs fully Tuned by Honda CB that know his stuff back N day expert factory mechanic OG i hit gas smothie like silk super powerfull ,parts and I eat up KZ 1000 breakfast lunch Dinner and I shake ground when I came to stop and everyone was looking at bike those days where great people in public friendly with smile goes long ways and I sure put one on many with my CB750F I just bought Nos 1 year newer than previous this one I'm keeping it OG Look with late 70s early 80s brand new from Honda back N Day Kerker Pipe gorgeous chrome and badge on it 💖💥 that's un optimum price less my bike is ready Go on Stage at classic bike show win first place I just had original candy paint put back on it with factory stripes Decal my constar wheels are beautiful every thing is brand new 1 start and pipes sound like Last one I'm bring the Amazing old school memories back I was Riding before there was helmet Law but it's fine I got 3/4,custom premuim Helmet custom paint ,same as bike with sheld babes can see me still I Love my bike like previous and rest of my toys I'm car guy vintage Restoration I ben around motorcycle since 70s Yamaha GT80 Brand new street Bike edition Loved it then Honda Express and CB750 I'm professional street bike Rider and I'm expert on CB I Ride it Like should be Ride and I do style Riding like Drag Bikes with Leg moves while shifting👍🤙 back N Day we all Ride like that including my previous drag gears little shif Kerker sound super nice you got have Rithem or not Recommended

Sorry, sounds like it had a bad ending? Sucks you had it only two weeks. Wow. I hope you were not hurt. Im hoping to buy an 81 750 F next month. Its dangerous out there but as someone once told me 'you have to live' and we cant be ruled by our fear. But sometimes even death or serious injury takes care of that. It will take me a long time to fix it up so we wont be out there any time soon and maybe by then I'll just sell it and save the hazards.
@@pipersall6761 I broke my foot in the middle of summer, cast for weeks. Fine now. Oh, this was '84ish. It was totally my fault. I gave up bikes after that. Good luck with yours, whatever you do.
@@jakerazmataz852 Thank you. Im still mulling it over whether or not to do it. Im not young anymore but I think I still have the skill, but thats what they all say, huh? Anyway, glad you recovered and lived to tell the tale. One thing I really enjoy are these videos where guys and gals take you along for the ride using a GoPro or something similar. Recreates a few of the feelings with none of the expense or the danger. Take care and thanks again.

The tank and covers are very "Nighthawk" like.
IMO The covers on the 75-78's are far better.
What's the seat height? How tall are you and how comfortable is the seat height for you?
Seat height is 31 inches (790 mm). I'm 6ft tall and fit perfectly fine on it with room to spare, so even someone a bit shorter could handle it well.

You made a couple of small mistakes that I'm going to throw out real fast. You were talking about the gas mileage. 35 miles to the gallon and by accident you said 35 mph. anybody with a brain would understand that it's a simple mistake and you didn't mean anything by it. the second mistake you made was you actually said that you're enjoying the sound of the typical Honda four-cylinder engine single overhead cam. whereas in the beginning when you were going over the engine you stated that it's a double overhead cam engine. is it a double overhead cam or a single overhead cam? your contradicting yourself for people that are trying to learn. I know exactly what it has as I was living and driving bikes brand new during the 1970s
