Hey could you make a video of the whole alphabet in calligraphy please. It'll be really helpful because I've only just begun and it's hard for me to figure out where to break the letters. Please use a light coloured brush pen so that it'll be easier to see. Just you writing letters in calligraphy! Thank you so much and love your tutorials. Love from India. ♥
She has a paid course for that :) it’s a source of income so I doubt she would be doing that for free. It’s a great course though, I am currently enrolled in it
I LOVE that you say to hold the pen the way YOU hold a pen. I have never been able to get nice handwriting holding a pen the way we were taught. THANK YOU! I also want to thank you for these videos. Writing really helps with my anxiety. Especially fun and different hand lettering. I appreciate that you do all of this for free. Your videos have been a blessing! Thank you!
Thank you! My son has calligraphy class coming up and I learned with a chisel pen. I ordered pens. Surprised to find brush pens came in the mail. We needed a good tutorial!
Thanks for the guide. I simply bought a brush pen the other day and I was searching around with Tombow brush pen keyword today and I found your video. I still can't believe that I already could do calligraphy by following this video
Omg I just randomly clicked on this video and the current brush pen I was using for calligraphy was the exact same one this also was a MAJOR help thanks so much 🤪
Thank you so much! This helped me A LOT, I want to try making my own bullet journal but I don't know how to differentiate a brush pen with a calligraphy pen or use a brush pen.
How refreshing, concise and pleasant to watch. Do you know any left handers who do Calligraphy? Would the manner in which the pen is held to the paper be adjusted?
Thank you so much for this video, its my first time trying to learn how to do do proper caligraphy with brush pens, and you have explained it so well and clearly, that i have actually started of quite well. Anyone who wants to learn caligraphy should look at this youtube channel, i will carry on with some more videos and im sure they will be just as good. I will post my comments on each one. Please make more videos as i have already enjoyed my first one! :)
Hi Becca! I'm a lefty and I have a lot of problems in making the thin upstrokes which is really frustrating. It just doesn't come out to be thin😕.. Could you please give me some advice?🙏
How do I compensate pen angle since I’m left handed? I don’t write with my hand bent over the top of my page, if that makes sense. I turn my page on a sharp right turn to write.
Hi I have watched many of your videos, and I feel like I have a good understanding of the basic strokes and I think I am ready to get started on my letters. Do you have a video already up that I can watch or a recommendation of one? I would love to get started on lettering
I enjoy watching your videos, very helpful. The brush pens you use definitely make a difference. I bought a set of staedtler dual end, they're nice. Then purchased a set of Tombow Fudenosuke, extremely different, now My FAVORITE PENS! Thanks for sharing your talents 😊
Hi Becca! Great video as usual! I’ve been using Tombows for a while but this video still really helpful. Could you make a video about practicing different styles of sans serif font? I struggle with those for whatever reason 🤷🏻♀️
I as a beginner tried using the camlin brush pens But lemme say this They have a large soft tip Which makes them a bit sensitive to pressure and turns Instead you should try a brush pen with smaller or harder tip in order to write more fluent!!! ❤❤❤
Great video, I just have one problem... I'm left-handed. Is there any way to compensate for this? Write backwards? Are brush pens even useable for lefties? Thank you!
Hi Becca. I just saw and read that Tombow brush pens can be refilled!!! Is this a good idea? They can be expensive to buy when using them often. What do you think about refilling them? Thank you in advance for your help.
Tips for brush pens that seem to dry out really fast making the lettering not be as dark? The brush pen that has “BR” on the cap is a pointed felt tip almost. I am not sure if I am pushing too hard or…?
Hey! I just got brush pens and wanted to try this, a question about the paper though, can it be high quality drawing paper? Or would that be too gritty?

Are there any cheaper options, which don't bleed through the paper?
The brush opens I have are P I G M A Brush and they dont bleed through paper
I have zebra midliners (dual end) and the colour payoff isn't that great but they're pretty good and don't bleed through
Love your videos

Which brush pen to use
In the video, I use Tombow Dual Brush Pens: amzn.to/2lHImFS
Is the tombow ones like the camlin brush pens?
Hey! I just got brush pens and wanted to try this, a question about the paper though, can it be high quality drawing paper? Or would that be too gritty?
Awesome :D A paper of 80 to 100 gsm would be more than sufficient :)
Hello. Do you know which branch or website sell good brush pens and metallic brush pens?
Do you have a video on how to write the letters P, R, S, Q? I find writing words like “inspiration” pretty difficult for my beginner level. Thanks

Is Moleskin notebook paper considered high quality for these brush pens?
