Sweet Adjeley I tried your two ingredient Akala you uploaded some time ago and it was j3j3 and I'm soo going to try this ....the little pieces one is killing me....when I was young I was always sent to buy koko and koose behind our house and when I got I tell the koko seller ''mepaky3w me maame se mengye ase3 mbr3 no'' then the koko seller will give me plenty and when I reach home I enjoy it alone...you just brought memories Sweet and you're simply the best....gye wo two

Sweet Adjeley, I am certainly making this for super this afternoon and serve with some Quaker oats porridge. Skinning the bean was a lot of work for me because they were so so small.
By the way I tried the puff puff. It was amazing. My family loved it and came back for seconds. The nutmeg gave it a lovely flavour. I also turned some into snacks by dusting some with powered sugar for when my daughter gets hungry. I appreciate all that you are doing to make us happy. God bless!

Wow, Sweet Adjeley, I love how you blended the beans with salt and little water. You said we can put extra salt if required after blending that's nice because we don't wanna make it too salty. Additionally, we need to fry the Akara over medium-high heat to ensure it's well cooked and it doesn't get burnt. You're truly creative. I love the way you cook. Yummy Nigerian Akara! Keep cooking! You're the lady!

I read about akara once and thought they sounded good, but I've never eaten any before. I was surprised how fluffy they came out! I would never have guessed they were made from beans, unlike other fried bean balls (like falafels). I put off making akara mainly because I was intimidated by the skin-removing process, but the videos showing different techniques took away any excuses :P
