Man, I dunno if its the weed talking, but this is insane. Not just how entertaining these were, but the fact that Tom finessed all of this weird and psychotic funny stuff into such a career, man. Like when he started, he seemed like a kid just messing around with a camera, then MTV happened, then movies, then the new tom green show. These always take me back to the 90s with my brothers sipping slashes from a straw and flipping through wrestling and rap magazines. We'd watch some shit like Snick, because Nickelodeon was quality stuff. Then when Snick ended, we'd flip to MTV to watch stuff like this, The Maxx, The Head, Beavis and Butthead, The State, and a trillion other funny and weird late night shows. Back before I had the attention span of a gnat. Man, I guess we can never go back for a reason. We'd never leave under the comfort that every single thing you encounter is going to be new and exciting. Take care of each other y'all.
I greatly appreciate you uploading these. If you have any more, do you think you can avoid the 16:9 stretching? Would much rather have these archived in their original 4:3. That said, I'm very appreciative that this has been archived at all. Thank you.
At 49:09, that has to be most 90's b-roll footage I've ever seen in my life. He is really working that zoom knob (it must be really well greased up).. *guy at payphone wearing dresspants!! *people walking!!! *hot-dog vendorrrrr!!!!!!...

the band reminds me of folk punk bands like "rosa", i mississippi you" and "the wild" who sing "set ourselves free". waaaaaay before the folk punk days other than bands like the violent femmes. Very cool!
@harminoffendl I'm not sure this aired October 19, 1995. In this episode, Eugene Haslam states that Eric's Trip would be playing at Barrymore's "next Friday". Records show them playing on November 10, 1995. The Tom Green Show aired on Thursdays, and since Eugene didn't say "tomorrow", that means it would have been the November 2, 1995 episode.
Say what you will about young Tom's humor being dumb and sophomoric, but I can TOTALLY see this scene here on public access in the local Ottawa scene being a cool scene for all the cool kids. Looks fun! And I can see why MTV thought this would totally translate to their audience. What memories.
