Oh yeah, that crispy feeling of gloves that have been wet, then dried. That aqueduct is similar to one located in Victoria near where I grew up. It's no more that like going under a city railway bridge or similar, but it has water going above the road. Pretty cool. How awesome are the windmills there! I'd love to live in one! So many ferry rides! There's lots of similar ferries in northern New South Wales that I've been on. Most of them though are free! Now I think I'm going to have to make myself a veggie burger for dinner tonight! Watching you eat that made me hungry! 🤣

In Australia, we also have ferries across rivers, we call them " Punts" Usually they are free. Every time I see you paying, i think of the song, " Don't pay the ferryman, until he get's you to the other side" Chris De Burgh..

Hi Dracula's couple! It was a ferry's day, ferry after ferry... Why didn't they build bridges? But Netherlands looks awesome with their beautiful old windmills.
Great video as usual! The first ferry you were on was a "Pendulum" ferry, it is powered by the current of the water and the direction controlled by turning those float things attached upstream by cable. We used one last Sunday to cross the Elbe in Germany. We have passed a few of these on our boat, I always worry about which side of the cable to pass on without getting caught on the bank! Pity your journey is almost over, I have enjoyed it as well. Good luck.

I have often thought about hugging the coast road all the way around the UK, Scotland and Wales. But to do it so I am in no hurry and taking in all the sites. Like someone said in the comments on an earlier video the ride was over late last fall (November). I don't know why it is such a big deal with them but they don't like to tell you what time of the year it is as they are riding through a country, it differently would be nice if they did.

I love how, through all of Germany and closer to the UK, the trees have become more autumnal like the closing season of the ride. Ahhh, le sigh!
