- For the drilling part it is 7/64 for the big side and 5/64 for the side with two holes. I held it with a pair of grips with a towel around it do it wouldn't bend. the clip to get the hose off Is finicky so just just press the little pin towards the cabin and figure it out. easy to do getting it out will be the challenging part.

I did this on my 2012 Cadillac CTS Coupe witha 3.6. I can't believe the difference in acceleration and smoothness of idle. I also changed the other PCV on the opposite side that goes to the hose for the air intake to throttle body. Before changing, my car was shuddering when I accellerated uphill form a standstill. I thought the trans was going up because it wasn't throwing any misfire codes. My part #'s were 12583384 (steel one) and 12681693 (plastic) Paid $25.00 for both from Rockauto.

What size engine?
It will work for the 3.0 and 3.6 I recently on some Cadillac SRX 2010 and 2012 and GM that uses that style PCV valve because the holes are just too small and will clog over time I first cleaned them with some some supertech throttle body cleaner works for a while but it’s best to drill them out even then check every now and then and spray some throttle body or brake cleaner down into it to remove or reduce the carbon or oil buildup
