Apparently when Nightbeat and siren were released in China and Korea, the stickers were added, but apparently the people who applied weren't aware Minerva shares a mold with Nightbeat, not siren, so her picture ended up on sirens box, and shuta suffered the same thing but reversed.

Her legacy figure rocks imo but it sucks that IDW 2 didn't do much with her, hoping that more people got exposed to her character at the very least.
Huh. I know of the character because of her original toy is one of the rarest and most expensive one to find. And from the wrecker comic, but I didn't know she was originally a human with a transtrector body. Pretty cool backstory.
Ever since I saw Minerva join the Autobots in Transformers Earth Wars I have been curious about her character since all I knew was that she originated in Japan
Despite it's flaws, I'm so happy for the Legacy Minerva figure. Now if only Hasbro/Takara would make Nightbeat and Hosehead to complete the trio. EDIT: I forgot Siren, so make that the quartet.
Fun idea: Minerva gets her own mold that’s gender-ambiguous enough to work for both her and Nightbeat and then slip in a new deco for her that uses her human namesake’s casual wear as its primary palette.

@@gabrielchee8470 Wow- that's so awesome to hear, thanks for sharing! I bought a bunch of Headmasters from the same seller from back in the mid-late 1990s & I recall him saying they came from 1 of those countries. I never knew that about the stickers.
For a cartoon character from a 1988 Japanese television series, Minerva is pretty stunning.
Great Stuff, as always!
Love your channel I learn so much from you
This would be a banger concept for the movies
Man, Transformers anime is such a treat. I’d wish Takara Tomy would contract a Japanese animation company to make one more.
The Legacy figure was my introduction to her existence. Never seen any Japanese exclusive series and checked out of IDW's run pretty early in.
Do find these Japanese originals interesting. Thanks as ever for these and also for the good subtitles.
I am so glad I got to Legacy release of this toy
Oh I love Minerva. One of the memorable characters for me in Masterforce. I love her personality, and she looks absolutely classy. I wouldn't mind if human Minerva ever reappeared even as cameo. As for TF Minerva, I hope we really get to see her. Other than Ratchet and First Aid, she's such a standout when it comes to the Medical Autobots. Visually, one of my favorite TF designs (especially since she's a female and doesn't have the backpack that plagues a good chunk of them). I love her twin antennas sm💕 such a huge sucker for them. Her legacy figure rocks imo but it sucks that IDW 2 didn't do much with her, hoping that more people got exposed to her character at the very least.
She is truly awesome
FINALLY. Never thought I'd see the day.
Fantastic video story👍👍👍👍👍
4:47 hmm, I always wondered what a shattered glass Thunderblast always looked like, and now I do.
I had been waiting this for decades🎉🎉🎉
Huh. I know of the character because of her original toy is one of the rarest and most expensive one to find. And from the wrecker comic, but I didn't know she was originally a human with a transtrector body. Pretty cool backstory.
Amazing Bro
i think animated red alert is basically minerva or its design, as like sentile prime from bayverse is actually insiperd by alpha trion
The Japanese Transformers were truly unique, and I love the anime adaptations.
Yes one of the most obscure early females. She was a Japan retool while USA and Europe got less toys to prepare for Beast Wars.
3:47 GETAWAY CAMEOOOOO
Godbomer was also a lifeless transformer? I did not know that.
He's been described as basically a giant Masterbrace, another way of forging a link between human and robot life.
Remember watching that cartoon. But dont recall much of it
I would love to see her in a next Transformers story again, either in the comics, video games or show.
My first encounter was when I found the legacy figure in Walgreens as an exclusive so I bought it, then researched the character.
Ever since I saw Minerva join the Autobots in Transformers Earth Wars I have been curious about her character since all I knew was that she originated in Japan
I'm convinced her new toy is just the titans return sentinel prime thing again
Do THE BASICS on Earthspark next!
Interesting. I’ll have to look into this
I love this video
She is one of my favorite transformers who has never been in any us show
Does anyone else think Minerva’s transtector should’ve been named lifeline or something? Out of curiosity.
4:02 bumblebee: wheel jack I’m just you dead
Wheeljack: we’ll bumblebee I’m to popular to die
Despite it's flaws, I'm so happy for the Legacy Minerva figure. Now if only Hasbro/Takara would make Nightbeat and Hosehead to complete the trio.
EDIT: I forgot Siren, so make that the quartet.
I swear she should be in more media, the whole trans-tector concept would be a great Tv show.
She's one of few healers in the Transformer Earth Wars mobile game. And that's the first time I've heard of her.
Minerva is my main character in Earth Wars, eventually making her my favorite Transformer.
Such a kind character. I feel pretty bad what I did to her in my fanfic, Riding A Sunset.
masterforce actually was where i first encountered her more years ago then i can count they released it on dvd in the us and canada and i'm canadian
9:07 so you're saying there's more than meets the eye to her? LOL
I wish I got that Legacy Minerva figure
There's plenty of opportunities out there. It's worth it.

Minerva, Shuta and Cab are an example on how to do human characters in Transformers.
Fun idea: Minerva gets her own mold that’s gender-ambiguous enough to work for both her and Nightbeat and then slip in a new deco for her that uses her human namesake’s casual wear as its primary palette.
