    I learned a lot from this vidoe.
    I have lots of problems and lots of times spend to learn how to weld but i couldnt find the true reasons for weldin so bad.
    Now i have some ideas and im going to try again and again. This is so helpful for me that you show more a bout co2 welding problems.

    Good information.
    How about showing what happens if you don’t clean the dirt and rust off the surface well enough?

    My problem is seeing the weld. Do not know what is safe shield settings to protect eyes so think I’m doing good but results are scary. Sad part my dad and brothers were iron workers😢

      As for shade numbers for Mig I use #10 to 11unless your running high amperage around 180 or higher. A good way to tell if your lens is not dark enough after you weld your eyes get tired if thats the case jump up a number higher on the shade. Ill drop a video link below I made a while back on seeing your welds.

      Dont look at the bright arc. Look just behind it at the puddle.

    I weld one way and others will weld another but bottom lines are the penetration, and using a proper gas for your wire or materials placed together. I can't with a lot of success weld a pop can together an not get some issues plus I like to push as to pull on my welds... depends on angles and the thickness of metal I am joining

      I need to try the drink can sometime, I've always wanted to try but never do. It looks very challenging!!!

    Can you show us welding a rusted exhaust pipe that wants to blow through? I last used a washer to hold and join, then two straight pieces of muffle clamp U-bolts (cutting off with grinder) to provide structural strength. It was tricky.

    • @ACDesignsGarage
      @ACDesignsGarage  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sounds tricky, I may try to do a video on it if you want.

    On another video you mention you prefer dragging the electrode vs pulling. This video you were pulling all the welds. Please explain. Thnx. Awesome video btw.

    • @ACDesignsGarage
      @ACDesignsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, draggin and pullin is the same, pushing and pulling is different lol I just call things different with the same meaning lol thanks for watching multiple videos!!!!!

    Just before you begin welding is your tip (the wire that is) touching the surface or "almost" touching the surface??

    • @ACDesignsGarage
      @ACDesignsGarage  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can lay it on or I'll have it pretty close, just as long as you don't have it a long ways away no more than a 1/4 inch at max.

    What about too much gas pressure?

    • @ACDesignsGarage
      @ACDesignsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I was debating putting it in there, I had to narrow it down from 10 to 5 lol

      I’d be interested if there is a way to determine correct flow without a flow meter. A flow meter is on my wish list. Thank you and take care.

    How do you keep your welds so straight?

    • @ACDesignsGarage
      @ACDesignsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can layout lines with soap stone or chalk!
