- This money lei is pretty easy to make. I used 59 bills in total.
You will want approx 8 feet of curling ribbon folded in half with a bead tied in the middle to create a double strand.
$150 =
3 - $20's
2 - $10's
4 - $5's
50 - $1's
Each bill plus 1 bead = 1" if you want to adjust for length using a different amount of bills.
50 bills makes a perfect length
Took me about 3 hours but if you have help it would go pretty quick.
Remember to fold each bill in half 3x's to get that perfect measurement to fold accordian style.

How to take tape off ?

When your putting the beards on are you putting then threw both sides of theribbons or just one ribbon

We don't have 1 or 2 dollar bills In Canada, a loonie is a dollar coin and a toonie is a 2 dollar coin.

Can u do thicker ribbon?
Um might be able to fit up to 1/2 inch width but I haven't tried, maybe fold a bill and measure for sure before buying ribbon but probably. Excited for you & your graduate!! 🎓😁

I can’t slow this down so I can keep up. How many folds
Apologies, it's a lot to squeeze into 1 minute. I fold them once, in half. Then again, in half, then again, in half. 3 times total. Then once un folded that should give you the lines to fold back and forth like an accordion. The 3 dots up in the right corner are the menu that shows the description with measurements. Unfortunately, our bills are plastic, not easy to fold like the American bill.

Thank you. Wow I didn't know that, we are allowed to do a lot to it here except destroy it. Maybe you could make a necklace by leaving it flat and taping them together by the ends? I'd be kinda scared of them ripping though. Cheers! =)
@@LuckSpinner yes , our money is made of polymer so folding it is a big no no, no one will accept it if it has fold already, yes the only thing that we could do is to make it flat on a lei

@@LuckSpinner it is super thin , like plastic texture, it is waterproof , but you jave to keep it flat always , folding is not allowed , and ironing is not advisable because it will wrinkled

Hi Gabbie, I've learned you can watch in slow mo or speed videos up but you have to like the video, then go to "liked videos" click on it there to watch, in the upper right corner there is a gear with drop down settings. Select playback speed. Or you can fold the bill in half, then in half again, then once more. So a total of 3 times. When unfolded, it leaves creases in the perfect increments to make the accordion style folds. Hope this helps, I wish you good luck and congratulations to your grad! 😁🎓🎉
