How to draw a head 3/4 view (Loomis Proportions!)

scottie what is the size of the circle where the ear fits in.

hey Bob! from memory the diameter of the circle is about 2/3 the diameter of the sphere.

What is a good beginner set to buy?

If you want to get into brush pens I'd start with a mixed media sketch pad and a Pentel fude brush pen. (You can get black handle which is water based or the grey handle which is permanent if you want to do washes) 👍🏼
