Nyaami, I'd like to suggest that as you're interviewing yankee people... please try and connect parents who've lost touch with their kids due to some of these travel payments and all that cos it hurts that our African parents still hold onto the old style of parenting, where kids dont have a say.... Let's see how that interview session also goes
    Big ups SVTV AFRICA ❤

Bringing your spouse, child or your parents to abroad is not that costly as they have made us believed. Even if u consult an immigration lawyer to help you file for ur spouse or child it's not that expensive. The only expensive cost in traveling is the flight tickets.

It’s cruel to charge your child for bringing him or her abroad , as a parent it’s your responsibility to care for them so they are not obliged to compensate you. Now see how the relationship is? Very sad, please don’t let money “rule” you

@@traceyyeboah3034Tracy even though it's their responsibility to care for their children, when the children turn into adults they don't have to expect everything to be handed over to them without any expectation. For all you know the mom took out a loan to help him out so it wouldn't be surprising that she'd want him to pay

If someone is an adult child who is working, then its perfectly okay to have them assist to pay off the debt with their travel. Someone doing it by themselves pay a lot of money and some even sale valuable properties to travel and endorse suffering abroad. Those sponsored should be grateful.

In Italy, you can equally go to school and achieve your goals, but a lot of Ghanaians don't want to do it.
Firstly, it's the language barrier and secondly it's bad advice from others.
There are evening classes for secondary education too but Ghanaians love factory jobs and discouragement.
They haven't tried but they will tell you, you can't make it.

40,000 pounds to bring someone abroad. If your sons were in italy before going to the UK, don't they have passports?
Why did they pay to bring someone again?
Lastly,my question is, since you've lived abroad for so long and you know it's not easy to come by that money, how did you put all that into it?
Why didn't your son pay the money himself or go for a loan?
I'm sorry, but something isn't adding up.

To those people saying he’s ungrateful, you don’t know what you are talking about, get there and you’ll know how it is!!!
As an Italian-Ghanaian that’s how lots of parents did to their children which is very sad, some of the children don’t have a good relationship with their parents unfortunately.
As a mother , will you charge your own child for your own responsibilities? You can ask them to help you like I did , I helped my mom every month as soon as I started working but charging them or asking them to pay for all the expenses for him to come there isn’t good at all and this is what happened !!
