Truth is a bitter pill but, it heals. This guy is telling nothing but the truth.
He’s on point!!! What an amazing interview 😍😍😍 I’ve been in America for 27 years 😅and I give thanks to my parents for bringing us here and giving us great education. At 36 years old Ghanaian woman with two babies and an amazing Ghanaian husband, I have the greatest urge to raise my kids in Ghana. We just finished building our home in Ghana and have 3 profitable business in Ghana and currently building an autism center and clinic in dansoman. We both have amazing jobs working from home and making over 6 figures. We will be moving Ghana soon with our babies and their grand parents. My parents biggest regret is that they weren’t able to live in Ghana in the young years due to the so called American dream. Building wealth is not easy in America for black people. My family and I will be coming home to help with Ghanas’ development. I know Ghana is not easy but it’s worth it for us.❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤ autism center for counseling and coaching is what we need in order to bring education and awareness
I can listen to him 100× without getting tired!! Solid conversation !! DJ kindly brings him often!! Very intelligent and mature guy
These are the journalists we need them to host Ghana morning shows !! BIGUPS Odehyeba !! This guy is full of wisdom!!! He is very smart , intelligent and matured!! Very impressive interview
You call this smart!!! No wonder Ghana is stuck in 1 gear!!! Absolute nonsense!!! Why are the Germans, Indians, Italians, Jamaicans, French, Chinese not going back home. We live in a global village and the world is getting smaller and smaller with technology. In the next few years it will take less the an hour to travel from the US to Ghana. There will be more private jets and where you live don't matter!!! Stop thinking like someone living in Abraham's and Yaa Asantewaa's time. This is the 21st century. Bear in mind even the rich in Ghana send their kids to school in the US. When a frustrated person is screaming on the internet, do not praise him. He is struggling and assumes everyone is just like him. There are so many Ghanaian professionals doing fine in the US and proudly raising their kids here!!!!
All my worries he's talking about, you have to be very wise to understand what he's saying
I applaud my brother here cos all he’s saying is true. It’s not easy kwraa, it’s only by God’s grace. It’s well and I pray we will change our mind set cos that’s what has made us belittle the black race
May God help us
Whatever this brilliant man is saying is the absolute truth. The first time l arrived in the UK, l said to myself, l’ll return home because there’s nothing so extraordinary here.
I’ve never taken a credit card, any loan whatsoever. I’m working but still learning things to implement home. May God lead me.
I wished all Ghanaians, also in abroad, will listen to this interview and take it seriously! I always wanted to come to your program, but this man is telling want I wanted to say. Look! Countries like India, China, Korea are known for studying abroad and come back and use their learned skills in their country, not when they are old and can't work, but when they are still young and strong. Now look where their economy is now!
I think we travel to search, come back home and find ourselves there.
He is 100% right. We have been deeply submerged in the wide sea of debt.
The Ghanaian economic system needs complete overhaul. The present politicians have failed in this area!
Such a wise speaking. You have to be overseas, like America here to understand this man well. I applaud you, sir. 👏👏👍👏🇬🇭🇬🇭
This man is speaking so much truth. God bless you
This man is actually talking a lot of truth. If you don’t make a decision to go back home in your 40s then you will get stuck in the system abroad.
and you’ll accumulating all sort of diseases, infections and other weird stuff
Guy is deep mehn.. dj create some whatsap ground for ppl like this .. I will be glad
The guy is speaking the truth. Most of us can’t return anymore but the governments in Ghana and Africa are not helping. The laws don’t work there.
This is what I have been talking about...is not easy to return if you don't plan your life well. We ask for God's grace to return home after some years in Europe 🙏
Who told You law doesn't works in Ghana, even in America here someone who murdered someone was given bail came out and killed another person so give Ghana a break is everywhere in the world!
Ghanaians in abrokyire always try any means possible to defend our stupidity, this guy is always on point and right about this talks. Few are living good but majority are hand to mouth.
Should everyone agree with you?
Then why don’t you just go back home. Even the hand to mouth you are enjoying here you won’t get. You guys should be grateful
@karlmax6031 : Is not possible for everyone to accept the truth but truth is always hard to swallow. Bra majority in abrokyire are real struggling within and is the truth. A friend of mine just got stroke last week because of overworked and doesn't have time for his health said by the doctor. Bro a lot is going on.
@@Newmoni1z are you saying people in Ghana are you getting stroke too. Maybe the person didn’t take good care of his health. That’s why regular check ups are important. I am in Virginia Ashburn and I know what I’m talking about too.
@@Newmoni1z Yes, those who don't have papers, i can understand. There are others and many of them who looked at the government to provide them with facilities. Others came over and started putting up a mansion in Ghana without consolidating their lives here. By the time they realised, age has caught up with them and they can only do menial jobs.
Just read my other post on this issue. I spent about 8 to 10 years of my life developing academic and professional skills here. That was a lot of money and grafting. Today, i am enjoying the fruits. I work for about 9 months in a year from home. I travel with my family to different countries in a year whenever we like. I am off to Ghana next month just to rest.
Are you talking about houses in the UK? Don't let us go there. Now looking at Portugal.
Many of my people, when we travel are cocooned in our communities and open their scope. When you get a few Asian friends, they give you a very different perspective.
It is worse in Ghana Bro. There are many people there who do not have 2 meals in a day, no access to medical care and no roof over their heads.
I get frustrated with my people who come here even with papers then want to go to Ghana every year to show off. I tell them to develop their skills because this is a knowledge society but they refuse and do not learn. Not everyone can or will become a professor but there are many training facilities here which can give you necessary and relevant skills but no they do not take advantage of it.
After living in the UK for 5 years or so, there is no motivation to learn a different skill. They have totally degassed so they continue with the menial jobs, rake up debts then get stress.
No one in my circles will tell you the UK is hard and they are stressed. This is because we put in the hard work when we came here.
He's definitely right, this is similar to the Indians abroad except the Indians accept they won't go back to live in their country so invest heavily abroad on houses, businesses and their children. So when an Indian gets old they stay with their children happily as they've lived and invested well in them.
The issue with Ghanaians is we think we will be returning so never build ourselves abroad or our children here. We work hard to send things back home(not really an investment), so on our old age we are stuck,it's hard to live in Ghana as we don't really have an investment there, and we can't live abroad comfortably because we have nothing here too, even if you have kids abroad, they're hustling to make ends meet because you left them nothing, so they don't even want to talk to you or see you.
It's a complimented life cycle 😢
Thank you, i guess i making the same mistake
@ackahkofiefrancis4289 I'm glad you've realised this, most of us are sadly just realising, my parents built houses in Ghana,no investment and now retired they can't even live in Ghana, maximum 3 months and they return, sadly they don't have any investment abroad either so now it's a life of loniless and uncertainty, sadly its most people there age too, right now they use their situation to advice the young ones not to make the same mistakes their generation has made.
Damn that's a whole lot of truth you pop
very true, mortgage wont allow u to leave and once u default in payment then say goodbye to your property
Yes and that’s why their country is developed because you have to stay working and pay taxes. Not like Ghana that nothing is built, zero development. All of you don’t want to pay taxes but want to enjoy
@@Travelaround9580did you know the taxes we pay at the Tema port, yet we don’t see any improvement in Ghana… try to own your business in Ghana and that’s when you would know ignorant you are about what you are saying
@@samkobby3684 lol you just validated what I’m saying. Here in America we pay taxes and we see our taxes being put to good use. And do you know how much taxes an average American pay per paycheck??
@@Travelaround9580 sure per your you made sense, paying tax is very good, but don’t expect people to be still paying taxes when tax money are used for different thing in a country, in America everyone pay tax according what you make wai, the more you make cash the more you pay, and this even common sense..
@@samkobby3684 Ofcos that’s the common sense Ghana lacks. The big men make all the money pay less taxes and the market woman sitting in the sun pays all the taxes. The western world is not heaven but you guys should limit how you complain about aburokyire
This is a very very wise man. He's understands the brain drain is real. People need to listen to this man carefully he's know what he's talking about.
My brother on point and that's absolutely facts hundred 💯
Our educational system is fragile. It can’t compete with western educational standards. Our educational system does not inspire job creation. That’s where the problem lies!
What contribution are you making to change the narrativ!!
Nice interview ever, DJ bring him back. Thank you 🙏
I agree with him but I don't think we should also depend on China and Russia but learned to develop our country by our own values
You still need to depend on someone to build your country, e dont have the technologies yet.
@@johncloutier3887 China didn't need anyone to develop their country Russia as well
We have the technology but we lucked good policies
@@maryboatemaa4559don't be ignorant, I can see you are not abreast with international affairs. Do a bit of research.
@@johncloutier3887 you are the ignorant one because I am aware of international affairs so inform yourself before calling me ignorant
And this was what Dr.Kwame Nkrumah did for Africa by creating the N.A.M movement!
I agree with what he said but we need to understand that this attitude started way back in ghana itself. Most of us came from the village where its very difficult to have quality education let alone have a comfortable work to earn a living so when such a person comes to accra to make it its difficult to return back to the village. Have we asked why most villages haven't become like accra or kumasi?
I can’t emphasize much enough “plain naked black and white” truth this statement is…God bless you more Senior brother.
He is absolutely right whether you agree with him or not. That is the reality.
Where we've gotten to, it is time to be honest and my boss odehyeba is the most sincere person in the world. We can't keep massaging ourselves with lies.
Thank you bro
Wise man is talking 👄 👏 listen to him. Fact, truth hurt but Fact.
If you live in USA, you will understand him. I live in California and he is always on point.
He is one of a few Ghanaians who speaks the truth.
Don’t challenge him if you haven’t lived and experienced life in USA.
So when is he vacating the u.s to ghana
@@marydanquah4631you are still lost and not getting the point.

I strongly agree that DJ Nyame should buy airtime on Ghanaian TV and broadcast messages like these. Do this for us!!!
The fact is that if you don’t plan your life in abroad and stick to your plans you will always fail and that’s gonna make u stay in abroad for your whole life # I always say there is no enjoyment in abroad than Ghana ( Ghana total freedom and enjoyment no headache
He is speaking the truth I’m stuck here if I had been educated on these things I would have not take out credit and done a lot of things. Now I wish to return home but I can’t
This man is telling the truth 😊😊😊😊😊😊 I like the man 😍😍😍
This guy is really intelligent. This is what we call intelligence. I have learnt a lot from the whites. Because of my job I can’t disclose much info here. Borgas , can really change Ghana swear down. Also when we scrap religion( Christianity and Islam)and change our education system to teach our kids how to reason, I bet you , less than 20 years Ghana will change
Exactly my dear . I wish i could get in touch with you to learn more ,because i like people with open mind
DJ Nyame, quickly go into our Ghanaian political parties and calculate the number of leaders in various positions who left EU, UK , US and canada to occupy positions. This explains what the guy is saying.
I understand him very well..
Always on point 💯
Well spoken Odehyieba thanks for telling the truth a lot of the people are leaving a fake life, is about time we stay away from debt if you can't afford don't buy it fellow Ghanaians.By the way you said show by ✋ hand anyone without credit me please i buy off every month.
Well, he said his mind! I also think otherwise, most Pipo r not coming back not necessarily bcos they r in debt but some also don't return bcos, the systems in Ghana is not working! We have bad roads, less resourced hospitals, hard economy, bad education...cash & carry systems are all some major issues while Pipo don't want to come back
You’re right. I know most people who return and are in big debts looking for ways to build in Ghana and use it as escape from paying off their debts.
So who should make the system work whiles all the so called wise are called
You only took a part of his views that will make you look good in the face of the shallow-minded. Point is who should build the system for you to go enjoy it? It's all about risk taking. 9 out of every 10 Ghanaians are afraid to take risk. It took the foreigners years with hard work and risk taking to build their systems. Some were worse than Africa/Ghana is now.
Good advice God bless you Bro
Eiii, what a powerful guy,
Dude keeping it real with us
This guy is so deep and talks about the reality of life in 🇺🇸. I have been thinking about this for years . The system is a cash flow system and gets you stuck . 1/50 Ghanaians return home permanently . if you think you have made it in abroad go back home and let's see .Odehyieba thinks like me . Anytime i wake up i get scared
Full of wisdom is speaking, Big up to u Bossu..😎
The first time i watched you i knew you were wise😂😂
FACTS. Keep up the good work
I'm currently in a tough situation right now . My dad is trying to convince me to go abroad but I don't want to. Eventhough Ghana is hard and jobs are hard to come by, I still want to stay and make things work. If only I could get a good job and afford my own apartment he will stop worrying me. May God send me my destiny helper.
just me yourself and stand by your decision
Fact ...very informative
More power for reality, my brother!🎉🎉❤
Bro !! God bless the womb you came from.I salute u boss
He is speaking Facts!
Wooow this deep,he’s speaking the gospel truth.
I ❤ this interview
Wonderful piece of information.✌️✌️✌️✌️🔥🔥🔥💯
Masa, our problem is Leadership! PERIOD! If that problem is solved, people will stop traveling but until then, you are just wasting your breath. If you’re a youth and you’re reading this, travel to America wae , and thank me later, don’t listen to this guy. If he has any advice, he should give it to the leaders of Ghana. They possess the finances of the country and they can enforce laws. If they are not doing it, no individual can do it.
Very wise one.u know what is going on.thank you very much
This is dumbest and most naive comment seen here. Herh don't darken counsel without knowledge. So, who takes over from these leaders you're blaming on?
@@yawboahen what's your point I don't get you well please
True talk, 100%
Nothing but the naked truth, well done!

VERY TRUE.. MY UNCLE CAME BACK FROM FRANCE AFTER 45 YEARS, HE IS SUFFERING STROKE NOW AND NONE OF US REALLY WNT TO HELP HIM..
Why doesn't anyone want to help?
Very sad
Odihyieba always on point 👉
This man is simply intelligent, he is a true Ghanaian. So far he is one of the few Ghanaians in abroad who are thinking loudly. The system he mentioned has made many people lose focus, frustrated, coupled with family pressure. Many have given up life. Majority are just existing not living and are unable to return home, because they simply do not have the means. And if they do, they will only come to die. Their respective countries have taken the best out of them. Their remaining self can’t benefit our dear nation 🇬🇭 Ghana. Those have children here are the worst. Please listen to this man. This subject has been a burden on my heart for the past fifteen years I have been in America 🇺🇸.
😂 But our youth, I can’t blame them. They need to be told the truth. People have to save for a couple of years just to return for a visit and they will not tell you their story unless you show a genuine concern. These foreign nations have their only interest at heart, they will not regard your qualifications when you come, you will have no choice than start life all over again. A word to the wise is enough.
Most people came from the village to accra to improve their lives so why haven't they return to their village to stay after achieving their goal
Tell him for me.
Eiii
My God.
This guy is right
That has been my worry for all this while
True talk
He is speaking the truth
It is a sad truth!!! We can share the amount that we earn a month in $ or £ € but it's clear we don't really know the way forward whether investing in Ghana or there
His points are very true and we need to restructure our thoughts.
It's very difficult to invest in these western countries and not be bound by their strict terms and credit rules.
He is right we all have disappointed Kwame Nkrumah
Even Nkrumah schooled in the west and Married from Egypt. Sit there and fool yourself
@@Travelaround9580 Didn't Nkrumah returned after his studies? Think before you type?
Truth my brother truth very deep and real
Very very very true.
Hard Truth. I like this guy
Bro, you have lots of valid points but some Ghanaians love it in the west, until they get old.
The problem is, if you no get money to invest, how can you relocate back to Ghana
The guy is absolutely right,
Wow what a analysis...
Fantastic interview 😂DJ open the phone lines
Very wise young man
A lot of indians and Nigerians have migrate but thier countries are still growing, tell the bad leaders to make the country safe for the youth
heerr true oo
I thought they were not coming back because they have gotten used to the place. A lot of them say they can’t live in Ghana because it’s too disorganised. No standard universal healthcare, no decent pensions and so on. Only wealthy people are enjoying Ghana.
Hmmm he's speaking 100% truth
Thank you for your honesty my bro! A word to the wise is enough!! People just don’t like the truth!!
If you really want to understand the American capitalist system talk to seasoned lawyers, accountants and tax experts. The majority fall short of this understanding!
Am waching u from spain good tolk bro nature bles u bro
True statement by the gentleman. The intentions are wrong!
We Ghanaians should be encouraged to know that this dynamic world in which we live is demanding new ideas, new ways of doing things, new leaders, new inventions, new methods of teaching, new methods of marketing, new books, new literature, new applications for computers, new cures for diseases and new approaches to every aspect of business and life.

That’s fact DJ
This guy is speaking the mind of all the intelligent Africans out there. Great.
I tell people not to travel but if you insist check your age. If you are 30years and above please don't leave.
Intelligent is speaking!!
So schooling means anything system of learning so farming, carpentry or masonry are all schools people go to. School is not being in class room and following national syllabus.
Ghana as a country itself is owing ……..Dey play😂😂😂
I don’t want to return to Ghana. Useless country with useless government. I’m a happy pharmacist in America and I don’t ever want to return to Ghana. I will visit but I will never move to Ghana. I love the Healtcare system in America.
The real fact and truth
This guys thinking is in future ❤this is very sad n true
You have some good points to an extent but base on developing a country you don't need millions of people to develop a country. Begin to check populations of some of the counties they are developed but are less populated.
2. Most Ghanaians who travel abroad are hustlers and not coming from a rich family homes. Most of the rich folks are living in ghana not abroad.
3. There are also few Ghanaians who are here abroad who have acquire knowledge but going home to ghana to help develop the country ghana they're not welcome.
4. The little money most Ghanaians are sending to ghana to their families are also contributing alot to the ghana economy.
Finally all what I want to say is ghana can still be develop even if all Ghanaians living abroad decide to stay Abroad. All you need is good leadership and patriotic citizens to transform the country ghana.
It’s lack of industrialization and innovation. Without that job creation becomes a problem!
Me I'm going back what he saying is gospel truth.
Pls are you in the Aeroplane going?
Pls sleep ooh...Our Leaders here are too wicked
Champion you are making good point but if you really want to go back you can go back. Don’t forget house appreciate. If you bought it $20000 last year it will be more in the next year. Which you can still sell it and make profit and go back to Ghana. The problems is really not the loans. Is a lot
