He’s on point!!! What an amazing interview 😍😍😍 I’ve been in America for 27 years 😅and I give thanks to my parents for bringing us here and giving us great education. At 36 years old Ghanaian woman with two babies and an amazing Ghanaian husband, I have the greatest urge to raise my kids in Ghana. We just finished building our home in Ghana and have 3 profitable business in Ghana and currently building an autism center and clinic in dansoman. We both have amazing jobs working from home and making over 6 figures. We will be moving Ghana soon with our babies and their grand parents. My parents biggest regret is that they weren’t able to live in Ghana in the young years due to the so called American dream. Building wealth is not easy in America for black people. My family and I will be coming home to help with Ghanas’ development. I know Ghana is not easy but it’s worth it for us.❤

You call this smart!!! No wonder Ghana is stuck in 1 gear!!! Absolute nonsense!!! Why are the Germans, Indians, Italians, Jamaicans, French, Chinese not going back home. We live in a global village and the world is getting smaller and smaller with technology. In the next few years it will take less the an hour to travel from the US to Ghana. There will be more private jets and where you live don't matter!!! Stop thinking like someone living in Abraham's and Yaa Asantewaa's time. This is the 21st century. Bear in mind even the rich in Ghana send their kids to school in the US. When a frustrated person is screaming on the internet, do not praise him. He is struggling and assumes everyone is just like him. There are so many Ghanaian professionals doing fine in the US and proudly raising their kids here!!!!

    • @karlmax6031
      @karlmax6031 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@Newmoni1z Yes, those who don't have papers, i can understand. There are others and many of them who looked at the government to provide them with facilities. Others came over and started putting up a mansion in Ghana without consolidating their lives here. By the time they realised, age has caught up with them and they can only do menial jobs.
Just read my other post on this issue. I spent about 8 to 10 years of my life developing academic and professional skills here. That was a lot of money and grafting. Today, i am enjoying the fruits. I work for about 9 months in a year from home. I travel with my family to different countries in a year whenever we like. I am off to Ghana next month just to rest.
Are you talking about houses in the UK? Don't let us go there. Now looking at Portugal.
Many of my people, when we travel are cocooned in our communities and open their scope. When you get a few Asian friends, they give you a very different perspective.
It is worse in Ghana Bro. There are many people there who do not have 2 meals in a day, no access to medical care and no roof over their heads.
I get frustrated with my people who come here even with papers then want to go to Ghana every year to show off. I tell them to develop their skills because this is a knowledge society but they refuse and do not learn. Not everyone can or will become a professor but there are many training facilities here which can give you necessary and relevant skills but no they do not take advantage of it.
After living in the UK for 5 years or so, there is no motivation to learn a different skill. They have totally degassed so they continue with the menial jobs, rake up debts then get stress.
No one in my circles will tell you the UK is hard and they are stressed. This is because we put in the hard work when we came here.

He's definitely right, this is similar to the Indians abroad except the Indians accept they won't go back to live in their country so invest heavily abroad on houses, businesses and their children. So when an Indian gets old they stay with their children happily as they've lived and invested well in them.
The issue with Ghanaians is we think we will be returning so never build ourselves abroad or our children here. We work hard to send things back home(not really an investment), so on our old age we are stuck,it's hard to live in Ghana as we don't really have an investment there, and we can't live abroad comfortably because we have nothing here too, even if you have kids abroad, they're hustling to make ends meet because you left them nothing, so they don't even want to talk to you or see you.
    It's a complimented life cycle 😢

This man is simply intelligent, he is a true Ghanaian. So far he is one of the few Ghanaians in abroad who are thinking loudly. The system he mentioned has made many people lose focus, frustrated, coupled with family pressure. Many have given up life. Majority are just existing not living and are unable to return home, because they simply do not have the means. And if they do, they will only come to die. Their respective countries have taken the best out of them. Their remaining self can’t benefit our dear nation 🇬🇭 Ghana. Those have children here are the worst. Please listen to this man. This subject has been a burden on my heart for the past fifteen years I have been in America 🇺🇸.
😂 But our youth, I can’t blame them. They need to be told the truth. People have to save for a couple of years just to return for a visit and they will not tell you their story unless you show a genuine concern. These foreign nations have their only interest at heart, they will not regard your qualifications when you come, you will have no choice than start life all over again. A word to the wise is enough.

It is a sad truth!!! We can share the amount that we earn a month in $ or £ € but it's clear we don't really know the way forward whether investing in Ghana or there
His points are very true and we need to restructure our thoughts.
It's very difficult to invest in these western countries and not be bound by their strict terms and credit rules.

We Ghanaians should be encouraged to know that this dynamic world in which we live is demanding new ideas, new ways of doing things, new leaders, new inventions, new methods of teaching, new methods of marketing, new books, new literature, new applications for computers, new cures for diseases and new approaches to every aspect of business and life.

You have some good points to an extent but base on developing a country you don't need millions of people to develop a country. Begin to check populations of some of the counties they are developed but are less populated.
    2. Most Ghanaians who travel abroad are hustlers and not coming from a rich family homes. Most of the rich folks are living in ghana not abroad.
    3. There are also few Ghanaians who are here abroad who have acquire knowledge but going home to ghana to help develop the country ghana they're not welcome.
    4. The little money most Ghanaians are sending to ghana to their families are also contributing alot to the ghana economy.
Finally all what I want to say is ghana can still be develop even if all Ghanaians living abroad decide to stay Abroad. All you need is good leadership and patriotic citizens to transform the country ghana.

Champion you are making good point but if you really want to go back you can go back. Don’t forget house appreciate. If you bought it $20000 last year it will be more in the next year. Which you can still sell it and make profit and go back to Ghana. The problems is really not the loans. Is a lot
