can people like this please i am curious of this and it would be an honor if Shadows could answer it. How did the mosasaurus actually survive for so long while in the lagoon? just think about it the indominus rex couldnt have provided the nutrition to keep it alive and the reserves would have run dry once the park closed so, what did it eat?
For the raptors, it's probably "wild" ones that grew up on the Island...there's the raptor nest that Grant, Tim, and Lex stumble onto during the movie. It's to new to be from when that was the "official" raptor exhibit, and there needs to be at least a pair of adults old enough to lay the clutch, so there is likely another group of raptors on the island anyway.
considering the incompetency shown by the JP staff throughout the film - it's plausible that they assumed all but 2 of the original 8 were killed, when possibly a few had escaped 'the big one'
Dude Muldoon and Hammond don't mention any other raptors on Isla Sorna because... THE FUCKIN IDEA FOR THE ISLAND WASN'T EVEN AN IDEA IN THE WRITER'S HEAD YET!!!😂
Thank you so much for these videos Jurassic Park/ world are great movies but there lots of gaps that I never got so these videos really help a lot !!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I think it’s a more plausible theory that the Raptors had their eggs in their paddock with them, and when they escaped, they took their eggs with them, and transported it to their old enclosure, which was familiar grounds to them from before. The fences were down for quite a while and they can run 50 to 60 mph. They would be able to make multiple trips back-and-forth from their small enclosure to their original enclosure to transport the eggs. The main reason I think this is more plausible is because no Raptors attacked Allan and the kids when they were walking right through that territory. If raptors had hatch from those eggs within the last day there was another raptor there, caring for them, I highly doubt that the raptor that was caring for them would be far enough away to not notice Allan and the kids coming through its territory, and it definitely would’ve attacked.
There isn't enough time for that there, the Raptors don't get let out as their pen was contained until Arnold resets the system. You also have the hatchlings that they'd need to care for there, and the raptors wouldn't be leaving the nest and children unguarded...JP3 and Dominion show that. It makes me wonder if some of the raptor group in their enclosure didn't just split up and they assumed that all of the others were dead due to dominance fighting...I still believe that the Big One was either always male or had transitioned due to the frog DNA, the reason I have both theories is that with all of the stuff about assumptions being dead wrong in the series, having the entire gender thing having been non-functional from the start and the dinosaurs might gender differentiate in a different way (such as a temperature variation similar to crocs and some other reptiles).
In order for these unseen raptors to survive, they’d have to be eating a bit more than wondering rodents. They’d have to be sneaking into other paddocks and snatching the livestock. If not that, eating smaller dinosaurs. Let’s not forget the lysine contingency was meant to keep animals from going wild and escaping.
This makes so much sense, I did always wonder how those raptor eggs were their in the first place since the 3 main raptors don’t escape until later on and wouldn’t have been able to lay them. I hope more people see this video cause I bet you theirs tons of people saying “this game breaks lore!!!”
I always assumed the raptors actually bred while in the paddock and then the pregnant raptor happened to lay not long after they escaped. In hindsight that’s rather unrealistic as there is no way they payed eggs and had them hatch in a day
Since my Comment under your other Video seems to have been deleted: Can you make a Video about the native Species of Isla Nublar? There were a few. If I remember correctly from reading about it in a Wiki once, one of them was a quite unique looking Species of Tapir
Hey there shadows awesome video I really enjoyed it I know now that in Jurassic Park there was more then 3 raptors on isla nublar. By the way great video 👍🏻keep it up shadows.
With all due respect and contradiction if you go on the Maserati back log site you will find that Dr Henry Wu went to the island and gave a tally of the dead animals that includes the one in the refrigerator Dr woo found dead .
Hey shadows i know that this isn't a chaos theory's video but I was wondering if you could make a video explaining the ending of season one and what your theory's are for season 2. thanks
I know I’m a little late here and I’m sorry if someone has mentioned it already but there is another point as to why there must have been other raptors on the island. All three of the ones we saw in the film were female,so in order to have eggs there must have been at least one adult male raptor somewhere to fertilise the eggs with an adult female.Toss in the big one escaping from the freezer and there’s your three.
My theory is that the raptors were already breeding and left eggs and a couple raptors left which they left after they moved the 3 and the big one took over the pride by killing the male
Really love how your theory connects the movie and novel together beautifully! ... The concept of Maya fleeing from the raptors in the raft is now my new desktop wallpaper.
My guess is some of them survived because Rexy beated them in seconds and it took indominus Rex minutes maybe they are paralyzed not dead they're bodies are missing afterall.
Or He said we breed 8 originally, and She Killed all but two of the others. He said originally, not only. Or maybe a couple of Raptors jumped on the boat from Sorna, when nobody was looking.
love your theories but this one makes no senses how no one ever heard or saw those raptors and how did they manage to survives for months without the food supplies of the enclosure? and when Wu said they never found the bodies they must have send a few people inside on the enclosure to search for said bodies and the raptors surely would have attacked the people on sight and they must have been in the raptors enclosure to tranq and transport the 3 raptors they probably would have search the enclosure just to be sure that they weren't any raptors left. personally i think that the event where the big one kills the other raptors and the moment they were transported into the raptors pen happened just a few days prior to the movie beggining which would explain why the eggs are in good conditions but anyways keep up the good work man :)
Unrelated point but I didn’t see rexy’s injuries from the raptors in the trailer or in the screenshot In the first film the second raptor that she killed cuts up the back of her neck and we see blood there when she roars when the banner fall And in Jurassic world we can see scars in the same place before she fought the indominus I don’t see these injuries on her which I don’t mind but it’s a small detail that they are missing in this game
Hey shadow, remember how blue is the only velociraptor,it wouldn't make sense because in camp Cretaceous season 5 we see 2 other velociraptors,it's confusing because everyone still says blue is the only raptor, and I saw on a Jurassic website that delta, echo and Charlie were cloned and introduced to blue i don't know if that's true, please make a video about it.
I do agree the 2 raptors attacked by Rexy are dead, but animals do go limp and play dead whenever they are in serious danger. We just saw both go limp, but there's no saying they were killed off. I'm just saying it's still plausible, as animals do play dead when bigger predators attack, that includes the wild in real life.
Imagine if raptors didnt have feathers and jurassic park skin was accurate(i know their not screw) theyd be terrifying monsters especially the tiger striped ones and head quil ones
So when it comes to the raptors, people always say "Oh but there is only one raptor left, that is Blue, technically 1 and a half since Beta" and I say, yea, but how do we know that in universe? Did someone go out into the jungle and try to find said raptors? I think not, simply put, there are other raptors, they are just good at hiding. Now also according to Dinotracker, there are other raptors so I wonder if someone or something either got raptors that were hiding in Nublar or got raptors from Sorna for profits, I mean lets be real, ownership or not, if money is a result, it will be done. Of course someone fucked up that lead to raptors in Canada. And thus, I want a minimovie of a raptor ranch that turns out to be a raptor retirement home and the main crew that is said to be the MCs are really poachers that are scoping the place.
I always wondered if maybe the alpha raptor didn't actually kill all but two in the main enclosure. It made more sense to me that he/she left at least one or two more alive that likely stayed around the nests and stayed hidden to protect the babies. We don't really know the parental tendencies as far as I am aware, which leads me to wonder if maybe they defended their babies and raised them to be parts of the pack kinda like with wolves. One or two would always stay back with the pups to make sure they were safe.
This reminds me of the old jurassic park games where we would fight a lot of raptors during the game. In jp sega cd the raptor area is located in a mountain full of holes were they have their nests ( most jp games shows raptor nests in similar locations)
one of the three were dead rexy kiled that one and then started eating it before the fight it also caused the fight. also i think the big ones still female
This might sound far-fetched, but is it possible that these Raptors were cloned!? Crazy, I know, but I just have that feeling that there's more to this story than they're letting on! Shadows, my friend, absolutely epic video today! Loved it! Keep up the great work! You're the best! Edit: Can you please do a video about where exactly are the campers going to end up in Chaos Theory season 2?
I think it's easily explainable. Basically what they do is implement what they did in the book. Mia Joshi digs into it to find out that the dinosaurs had been breeding on the island all along and the employees were just oblivious to it because they were counting the EXPECTING number of dinosaurs to know if any are missing. But never checked to see if there were more than the expected number because they thought they weren't able to breed. And they can have Mia find that out "what 3 raptors!? How!? *Logs into a computer* "search for 300 dinosaurs" "37 raptors found"
I mean that's basically what ended up happening, they showed up at the Visitor's Center and attacked the Cast who were still alive. The first attacked Ray Arnold, then Ellie Sattler. Idk how they made it past her to the Visitor's Center without killing her & Alan Grant first, but it happened.
Well, maybe I have a solution and it probably doesn't make sense. What if maybe? They were more raptors, more than 3 like remember when Mon. Dune was Killed by the raptor what if those other 2 were? Others because remember the other 3 were looking for I mean characters at the park, so maybe the other 2 were in the jungle still, and so what makes sense. Honestly, I mean, when do you guys think?
