With all due respect of course but , yeah you missed something .....you missed a lot of relevant information if you ask me... gallons per minute, working voltage minimum and maximum, and hose size requirements, Max hose length, does it operate on a switch or when you turn the water on?

The wires on the pump should be at the top....

Are these the pumps that people are having trouble with in their Jayco campervans??. It seem to be common that the pump fails to prime properly.

Hi Chris, the only issue we seem to get from customers is from leaking which around 99% of the problem is from not being installed correctly. A lot of people use plumbers tape to seal and not the correct Shurflo fittings. It would be very uncommon to hear that these fail to prime properly, as they have 'Run Dry Capability' and can self-prime up to 1.8M, great bit of kit!

    Hi Shurflo
    I have a Shurflo 12v - 150psi pump used for a water injection system.
I'm just wondering if this pump can draw slightly?
I'm using a 5lt tank and the pump head will be mounted almost level with the bottom of the tank, however I can't mount the pump lower than the bottom of the tank.
Do you think the pump will draw the last 50mm of water out of the tank (the tank outlet IS at the very bottom of the tank)?
    Thankyou
    Eric

I think they're above the tank in most cases. Self-priming so it does draw. The distance from the tank seems to be a bigger issue, due to friction in the pipe

      @@tommoore7348 Thanks a lot Tom!
I've actually mounted the pump to the tank, so it's straight out of the tank through a filter and into the pump. It sounds like that should work OK then.👌👍
