    For your Macaroni & Cheese ... use Ramen Noodles .. it allows them to be rehydrated from cold soaking .. and the time is minutes .. as for cheese carry the powdered stuff
    I do this as a cold soaker, but you could easily boil some water and use a freezer bag

    Thanks David, I appreciate you sharing the video. I love gear videos as you can always learn something new to use for your own kit. I am a section hiker of the AT and I suggest you take the air mattress for sure. Depending on when you start the foam will NOT be enough R-value to keep you warm on the AT (even in Georgia). The foam pads are great for lounging while you are taking a break or lunch as well as extra insulation on those really cold nights. I am looking forward to checking out your channel and your AT hike.
