I'm relocating at the end of 2025. My wife wants to move Summer 2025, but I was like "no, too much competition". I would like to know about the bugs and any annoying things flying around or mountain animals. I have heard about the roches and scorpians. All cities deal with roches, but I would like to know to what extent have you delt with them? Thanks
Hey Dante, Thank you for the comment. I haven't had any issues with bugs here but I have heard of others having issues with scorpions. More so in areas of town where land excavation is underway as they'll run away to a "safer" location after being disturbed. If it's a concern to you, I'd recommend a monthly pest control service (it's roughly $40/mo) and they'll come spray the perimeter of your home and keep everything out. They'll also spray the inside of the home on the first few visits to kill anything inside. That being said, I haven't had any issues with rodents either, the biggest thing for me is the pigeons though.. I have a pool and they all come to drink from it and are constantly on my roof. Even with setting up defense mechanisms, they'll sit on the neighbors roof and come over to my house to drink. Coyotes do exist here and depending on your neighborhood they may or may not be more present. Areas on the edge of town tend to see more of them. Hope this helps!
