I've been watching your channel for years and have always enjoyed the content. I have always wondered what it would be like to 1v1 you in something like Napoleon.
I swear Pontus had 40 units. They were never-ending.
Averni made one mistake, even with defenders who were smart: Horses. Cavalry is their strong point, and as I've learned, a good 3-4 units can absolutely decimate an army if used right.

Defender did excellent job.
it is easy to defend but as you said not a guaranteed win. played a 3v3 on this a few weeks ago and all 3 defenders camped the vp and those chokes and they're responses "we're defenders, we defend" generally leave games like that but we won and victory has never been sweater

i have over 600 hours in rome 2. i don’t regret it. the game gets a lot of hate, but at this point with all the updates, fixes, AND mods, you can have the game at the perfect time. but it also depends on what kind of game you want. you want a historical game with family trees and politics? get rome 2 or atilla. you want fantasy with dragons and giants ? get warhammer 2.
