Yes, Richard I hope it does. They sure cause a lot of discomfort on the cows. It does give a sense of satisfaction to see them stuck on the glue strips instead of our cows faces.

I’ve used fly paper for many years, I always found that the 2nd time I put the paper out not catching as many flies. But the fly traps from home depot just keep adding water the for flys you catch the more it attracts.
I've seen people also use a fly bucket system to trap flies (yellow jackets too) and is reusable... then when full you can take the dead flies and chickens love them.
It is a heavy duty rubber sidewall cut from an earth mover tire. We put one on each side of the water tank for the cows to stand on. Prevents excessive pugging of soil around the water tank and keros the animals feet out of the mud.
Oh this is great. A bigger version of the ones you can hang indoors. My only concern is disposal. What do you do with it? Is the paper biodegradable and what exactly is in the glue, as you will be feeding the flies to the chooks?
@@gregjudyregenerativerancher I wrap mine around a 5 gallon bucket on a small portable stand I welded up. The paper is 10 inches wide. I will send you a message on FB with a picture of it. It takes 3 ft of fly paper to go around a 5 gallon bucket.

I've read or heard somewhere if you kill 100 face flies in Early May that lessens up to 2000 flies in July. Does that sound right to you?
