We live about 45 minutes from Gettysburg. We will take a day trip there, just to get the French Onion Soup at the Springhouse Tavern, located at The Dobbin House
Fidler & Co. closed in 2018. Places like this probably didn't do well because of the economy. I can only imagine what the process were for these meals when there were many other options.
@@Erikthetravelguy oh man it was so much fun! We are ready to either go back there again or go to colonial Williamsburg for the next mini weekend trip. I have a weekend getaway to Hershey PA coming up to see Nate Bargatze live and to hit Hershey park but maybe after that we will do one of those two historical and educational getaways. Thanks for asking man!!
If you like burgers wings and alcoholic drinks then I recommend BLUE AND GRAYS. This restaurant as dishes themed from the civil war for example there are the union burgers and the confederate burgers. The union burgers come with an American flag and the confederate burgers come with a Confederate flag. It’s a very popular restaurant so wait is around 45 minutes depending on time of day but the food is amazing
YES! Agreed! Mr. G's is fantastic. I didn't make a stop there on my last trip (because my children were not with me) but I will on my next visit which is scheduled for this Spring!
I love how you used the Farnsworth House Restaurant for your opening and closing shots but totally failed to even mention them in your review. I guess I would treat my worst enemy like that, but what did they do to deserve that from you? Did they refuse to give you a free meal? Oh and pro tip for someone who thinks about making a restaurant review of Gettysburg. Do not recommend lunch at a restaurant that is SEVEN MILES away from town. Plenty of lunch places in downtown Gettysburg. Fidler and Co shortly closed it's doors around the time of your review. I guess the pasta and pizza were not that much to die for, but perhaps at least you got a free lunch out of it. Your farmers market and ghost tour, nature walk cut away BS was a total distraction and didn't inform the viewer of anything. You should have used only 2 minutes in making your video instead of 3 minutes, then at least I would have been 1/3 less disappointed. I hope you are not making food recommendation videos in 2024 I'm afraid to look at your video content.

Love Gburg so much..i plan on moving there. But you should've mentioned The Blue and Grey
Gettysburg is the best. I hope to live there after college
Did you ever move to gettysburg

For the very best breakfast in town go to May's Avenue Restaurant on Steinwehr Av.
They went out of business. It's now a chinese restaurant.
I’m coming weekend after next for my first time. So excited
How was the Gettysburg trip?

Blue and grays is overrated
Try the prime rib at the Farnsworth house. Also it's kind of a crime not to mention the ice cream parlor right across the road, Mr. G's.

This video revealed absolutely nothing. A little more in depth detail of the menu in some of these places would have been nice.
Oh no! I am sorry to disappoint! I can do better!
Subway and KFC.
Ha!!
