if someone can do this, kunos is the one... they allready had a good visual game, acc, they allready have a good handling and sandbox/mod friendly game... all they are saying is everything will be better, and everything the mod community did will be implemented, open world is basically the japan roads mod, it was sooooo famous that when friends would came to my house and saw the sim, the first thing they ask is if i had the viral game of going reckless with traffic, they did not even know the name or if it was a mod... but they saw it. so bringing this type of thing to the game is almost mandatory, this became more famous than the game it self. also the drift community, the original game had allmost nothing, and the community bring life to the game, all the cars, the tracks etc... they have to at least bring the FD tracks and cars! that is my view, the dont need to create nothing, just the customisation part of caracter and car, everything they are promising is just to evolve what the mod community did to a professional level.
3:27 This looks sad. Where is the interior cluster detail ? Fuel range in km, odometer, ambient temp sensor, digital speedometer and gear at the centre cluster of the gauges ?? No infotainment data or details on the centre console area either... worrying...
Before the demo I was afraid people would compare a modded AC to ACE and kind of expect the same thing. After seeing the videos I think ACE has a solid base of a game and the future is looking bright.
Surely the things people are finding with the handling and FFB are to do with the settings already programmed in. If you didn't play about with the settings you can't really comment.
I own most of the sim racing titles available minus iracing and Richard rally, but AC is still the only game I ever play. Mainly because it has my favorite nordschleife. And the most solid FFB settings. I like ACC but I have everything cranked to 100 on my r9 and the steering still feels loose and weak. I hope EVO addresses this and is finally the one to take me away from AC.
is the T300 RS still worth buying today ? i can't afford a DD wheel for now because i've spent most of my money for my sister's hospitalisation. i've been playing racing games both arcade and sim with just a controller ( KB+Mouse in AC/ACC ) for more than two decades, so i just wanted to experience using a wheel
I had a T300 for 10 years and it was great, but the rim was become loose after a couple of thousand hours, so I 'upgraded' to a Moza R5. I would say go for the T300 and ignore all the DD hype. You should save some money and buy the Logitech TCLM pedals, as I've found the load cell brake pedal invaluable (I have Fanatec pedals, but the Logitech ones are much cheaper and apparently very good).

Unless it comes with a completely supported ranked multi-player with special events it is not the future. Fun? yea I'm sure it'll be a great addition to sim racing. I hope it's a huge success.
Interesting that they didn't include high downforce cars because they were always my biggest complaint with Assetto Corsa. I never felt like they did them right.
as a kunos fanboy i will most surely get ACE and all it's dlc's when they're available. but this doesnt mean i dont race other sims, now would you say the rain racing is comparable to the iracing weather system? i've not had much experience with rain in sims like AMS 2 or the likes but it'd be interesting to hear what you think it feels closest too. i know AC has always had a unique feel on ffb so i'm assuming it feels kinda like AC1 made a baby with iracing tempest...?
Controversial opinion but physics is least that racing games have to worry about, biggest problem is UI and UX which feels like it's often been done by engineering student.
I’ve a feeling Tokyo expressway system might be one of the free roams implemented. Maybe SRP worked with kunos for this, idk 🤷🏽♂️. But the out-roads around Nordschleife is definitely going to be in, based on what misha charoudin said, comparing to one of the screenshots of the trailer to the actual location
I was initially really optimistic about the new in-house engine, as VR can be truly accounted for with that development. But as soon as I saw the temporal ghosting on the clips of the Porsche, my expectations was dampened greatly. I will have to wait and see how they approach rendering and VR. It's probably going to be way better than ACC for sure, but will they use a deferred renderer again? If so I'm concerned, I can't and don't want to drive on monitors. Everything else about the sim is very promising however. Fingers crossed they have plenty of potential optimization still left on the table.
The thing with assetto corsa is that it could absolutely go the way of RF2 (though starting off in a more complete state). I’m sure it’ll be “successful” but the only way it’ll capture what AC was able to is if it is very easy and straight forward to create 3rd party content for. RFactor was AC before AC, but when RF2 came out, it became so convoluted to mod that by the time AC was a thing all the modders fled to it. AC was never the best sim for its time, it just was easy to work with. If AC evo becomes to difficult to work with, people will find something else if it comes around.
Marco promised a lot of things, A LOT, even if Kunos just deliver 70% of it, when modding is ON(he wants to support modders and even has a dedicated SDK) modders will deliver the other 30-40% in the next few years to make it 100-110% Graphics, Cars, AI, Population? Maybe on shutoko, VR finger tracking, using the Driver as an avatar to go out of the car, parts, maybe car meet ups, unique parts for every user, we just dont know its a new game engine good luck on the servers and storage But man we all know assetto we didnt even expect assetto corsa 1 to look this good it was all but suggestions then it became real and even exceeded a lot of expectations, and now Evo with a new game engine just imagine things, suggest it and maybe next year its already there even Marco might say "it was again modded to the heavens" again Lets see where will ACE be in the next 10 years a new playground another time to learn, discover and create new things
What we need for immersion is an ability to match in-game wheel with the wheel you have on your wheel-base, eg. if I use my Fanatec Formula 2.5x I would love to see it in game too, especially in VR!
Don’t forget girls. If EVO comes out it is early access (beta) don’t cry if some stuff is not yet working properly! Lot of the noobs don’t know what Early Access means
We won't get a full honest thoughts from TH-camrs at the moment. They all want that free sponsored copy of the game for review. IMO, the graphics render looks like a fantasy game. Hopefully modders can make it more realistic.

ACC is also a full sim and is very much playable with a controller
I heard that the mods support will be there when the full game is launched which is THE FUTURE
Mods aren´t gonna be like in AC1. Pretty sure thye'll only allow licensed mods, no ripped stuff from other games
if someone can do this, kunos is the one... they allready had a good visual game, acc, they allready have a good handling and sandbox/mod friendly game... all they are saying is everything will be better, and everything the mod community did will be implemented, open world is basically the japan roads mod, it was sooooo famous that when friends would came to my house and saw the sim, the first thing they ask is if i had the viral game of going reckless with traffic, they did not even know the name or if it was a mod... but they saw it. so bringing this type of thing to the game is almost mandatory, this became more famous than the game it self.
also the drift community, the original game had allmost nothing, and the community bring life to the game, all the cars, the tracks etc... they have to at least bring the FD tracks and cars!
that is my view, the dont need to create nothing, just the customisation part of caracter and car, everything they are promising is just to evolve what the mod community did to a professional level.
3:27 This looks sad. Where is the interior cluster detail ? Fuel range in km, odometer, ambient temp sensor, digital speedometer and gear at the centre cluster of the gauges ?? No infotainment data or details on the centre console area either... worrying...
Seems like people still dont know what pre alpha means. In the presentation they did say fully functional digital dashboards.
@@ariton2990 Which presentation you referring to ?

Before the demo I was afraid people would compare a modded AC to ACE and kind of expect the same thing. After seeing the videos I think ACE has a solid base of a game and the future is looking bright.
Surely the things people are finding with the handling and FFB are to do with the settings already programmed in.
If you didn't play about with the settings you can't really comment.
AC 1 is the past present and future of sim racing lol
Not quite. Ac1 lacks so many features as a game, ac evo looks to really change that.
What's going on with the physics? Are realistic?
You either still have a cold or had a great night before you left Germany
Hi, how was the setups mechanic?. Any easier than say ACC or R3E?
so, to my understanding SIMGRID is like the competitive multiplayer matchmaking, just like FACEIT for Counter Strike? just more integrated
Until some doesn’t do an online competitive model like iRacing has done, it’s just another racing game…
Brans hatch looks incredible
They better get it right because anybody that like racing is watch and some people who don't are to. Their leader had some high claims.
i dont think ive seen anyone talking about the price of the game did kunos said something about the price?
T300 is one of best belt-driven wheels. But I don't know about DD options. There has been some new more affordable DD wheels recently
Any news on PSVR2 compatibility?
Is the porsche cup car on par with the RF2 one? thats the best for me so far
Did they have or is it known whether full force with the Fanatec DD wheel bases was active?
No fullforce ready at the expo. I'm pretty sure it's available for internal testing.
Please can you correct the spelling on your thumbnail. "Too good to be true"
Nobody cares
How about the braking??
Is it the same in AC and ACC ( we have to go to 100% of brake power) or it's more realistic?
They said in interviews that there will be console ports.
Yes, after the early access is finished on PC
@@TooToo246any idea on time frame? Is that 3-6 months? I’ve built my rig and have PS5 for GT7 and am trying to hold off building a pc a little longer but I want to play this game
Most of the cockpits are setup with the ultra-wide monitors completely behind the wheelbases. Is this the proper way? I thought it was best to get the screen as close to your hands as possible?
What do think of the Conspit 290GP?
i hope physics will be different on release day, because it still dont have grip at launch moment. I will not bother to delete old AC and buy this if car physics will be same
you sound knackered mate
I am
Pretty excited, rekon it gona be decent.
Unless it comes with a completely supported ranked multi-player with special events it is not the future. Fun? yea I'm sure it'll be a great addition to sim racing. I hope it's a huge success.
what are you even on about. Do you know anything about Assetto Corsa?
Yes, the Raunchy nights with GM were hard!
@@evilwilk barely seen her
I mostly hope for better VR performance so I don't have to drive Automobilista 2 anymore, which physics I don't like.
Is there going to be spectator mode in this game, I would not pay for it if it were not, but I think it is important
What happened to the video you released 30 minutes ago?

I know this isn't smart, but my hype-meter for this is through the roof!
Fantastic. Can’t wait
Mod race tracks not gonna be free they said.
How’s the single player campaign?
Can I follow a driver career and earn money to buy cars and upgrades?
Controversial opinion but physics is least that racing games have to worry about, biggest problem is UI and UX which feels like it's often been done by engineering student.
What that’s a new FOV? Can you do the same FOV in ACC?
Maybe on shutoko, VR finger tracking, using the Driver as an avatar to go out of the car, parts, maybe car meet ups, unique parts for every user, we just dont know its a new game engine good luck on the servers and storage
But man we all know assetto we didnt even expect assetto corsa 1 to look this good it was all but suggestions then it became real and even exceeded a lot of expectations, and now Evo with a new game engine just imagine things, suggest it and maybe next year its already there even Marco might say "it was again modded to the heavens" again
Lets see where will ACE be in the next 10 years a new playground another time to learn, discover and create new things
What we need for immersion is an ability to match in-game wheel with the wheel you have on your wheel-base, eg. if I use my Fanatec Formula 2.5x I would love to see it in game too, especially in VR!
How is the crash model?
did you ask them , if there will be a demo version or open beta ?
Is it coming to consoles and will it support modding?
2:55 Bathurst! My track for real!!
Don’t forget girls. If EVO comes out it is early access (beta) don’t cry if some stuff is not yet working properly! Lot of the noobs don’t know what Early Access means
Tbh I just want a better safety rating system

If you like racing Ai uncompetitively then any game will do. If you want a exciting frustrating competitive racing experience, play iRacing.
We won't get a full honest thoughts from TH-camrs at the moment. They all want that free sponsored copy of the game for review. IMO, the graphics render looks like a fantasy game. Hopefully modders can make it more realistic.
