Hi dear ! I just got back from my Yosemite trip! My heart is 💔. Thank you very much for sharing this amazing video. I have been following you, I love your videos ! Thanks dear !
California Through My Lens, I did but I don’t get to go into Yosemite National Park, I didn’t know that I need a reservation 😢. Thanks very much for returning my comments!
That was a nice addition to your adventures along Tioga Rd. I was amazed when I found out last year how small Sequoia cones are....it was informative that you pointed out the sign about them. As I commented previously on Nelder Grove, Sugar pinecones are much bigger (up to 18" long). Thanks for your walk with 'mom.'
Love your videos. I've noticed though not to many videos are made of north eastern California. Hwy 70 the feather river, Lassen national park. That whole area is spectacular.
That was so cool. I regret I missed this when I visited Yosemite cause it turns out I drove right past it. By the way it was so awesome to meet you yesterday at Waterrock Knob! Man I hope you’re having a great time!
Cool Video Josh. Wife and I are planning on going to Yosemite next month. Hope the leaves start changing by then. Did you do a video on autumn leaves? Have to go back and check :)
You should check out big trees state park in Calaveras county. It has the first ever discovered giant sequoias and the mother of the forest, the first ever discovered giant sequoia. All of calaveras has so much history and historic towns in the foothills I really think it would be worth checking it out
Awesome Video....Your photography is outstanding....we have always watched you on our smart TV so this is the first time we are commenting but just had to let you know we are out there watching your adventures. In fact you have inspired us with your photography to not only travel more but to create a vlog as well. We could never match your skills so keep up the good work.
WOW , I envy you so much 🤪 I havnt been to half the places you have . I am sitting here planning my next trip and BEEP BEEP my phone notifies me there is a new California thru my Lens video on you tube .
I love watching all your hikes. Thank you so much for sharing. I love hiking so much to. Wish I had more time. Have you ever ran into any wild life on the trails you do? Just wondering since you go to so many beautiful places. Always watching from The central coast! Stay safe.
Correct. I went to Yosemite last week and the ranger assured me the reservation system will end in Nov. However, they are heavily considering bringing back reservations for the busy summer season every year. Be prepared for this again.
So georgous! I miss California, haven't been able to visit in decades. These videos make me feel like I have visited. Thank You!
Awesome!! What stunning trees sequoia are!! 😍 What a magical place Yosemite is! Thank you for sharing this hike with us!
No problem! Thanks for watching and the comment!

Thats awesome! I don't have a video on the leaves changing there but I bet it would be amazing to see!
Amazing trees and moments in nature. Would love to come here one day.
Your content is always so great! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoy it!
What a gorgeous hike! Might have to add it to our list of destinations when we get around to a California trip!
long time! thanks for the new video.
You bet!
Another beautiful hike! I really need to get out that way but I just planned another trip to the Smokies! Maybe next time
Josh and Amy, Pops Too!! Love your vids! We went to Yosemite last May. LOVED it! 1st time in CA God Bless Jack, and Sunny!!! SO Cute! xo Congrats!
I love your videos, thanks for sharing information about the golden state, it is very useful.
Sweet to see you out there hiking with your mom! I didn't realize how small the Sequoia seeds were - how randomly weird! Always fantastic :)

You are welcome! Thanks for the comment
Wow, can’t wait to see another video post from u, love the nature view inside your video footage ❤️
I enjoy all your videos!
Your parents are so cool to do this hike with u
Walking along that fallen giant looks surreal. How long has it been there?
That's a good question, I have no idea! It seems like it must have been a while though with the way it is decaying
California Through My Lens no worries! Was curious

Thanks for the great video. Can't imagine how tall those Sequoia trees are and how long they been there......hundreds of years, maybe?

Awesome😍😍😍
love this channel!!
I remember driving through a living(?) tree somewhere in Yosemite when I was a little kid in the 50s.
There is a seasonal creek that runs right through the grove, unless it's a low snow year
There’s some part of the park that is always burnt by natural fire, I hope there’s a way to avoid those fire/smoke when visiting...
Really liked your videos. Have been following you but just recently subscribed. By the way where did you guys stay on this trip?
I have a trip planned for January 21st to the 24th in Yosemite. Do you think it will be snowing?
How hard is the 1-mile walk uphill? I really want to include that in my trip but I’m not a huge hiker
For the non-wilderness/backpacking type of adventures and sight-seeing, how much time do you think I'd need to see it all on a single trip?
did you need reservations for tioga pass atm?
I think you do, since it is located in Yosemite National Park ! Please correct me if I am wrong. I just got back from my Yosemite trip!
Starting 11/1 you don't need reservations to get in the park.
Lilian Tong, that is what I heard of, thanks
👍😍
I’m second here 😱
What are the limits and regulations due to covid and fires?
The park is open now I believe but you still need reservations till November I think
Correct. I went to Yosemite last week and the ranger assured me the reservation system will end in Nov. However, they are heavily considering bringing back reservations for the busy summer season every year. Be prepared for this again.
I’ll going
i just hope there will be no wild fire there. God saves and protects the forest
It has been a rough year for wildfires for sure
I just hope that walk through tree was not killed by putting the walkway in it!
Not sure, but it happened back in the early 1900's I believe.
Where is your girlfriend?
first
Congratulations
