@@Chiliconcalle hello no, i used 4 AppleTv and use the Blackmagic Camera App and stream Display Mirror from Iphone to the AppleTv and Connect the AppleTv on Atem!
I had this working perfectly and then it shrunk the feed down so there is a black frame around it. Presumably the Atem is trying to set the feed from the phone to the settings of the camera inputting unto HDMI 1? But when I unplug all cameras and just plug the iPhone in to any of the hdmi inputs the resolution (black frame) stays… I’ve tried so many things to resolve it: resetting firmware on Atem. Cycling through all resolutions on the camera going into HDMI 1, going into the settings in Software Control, and so on but nothing can get the Atem to “full screen” the feed from the iPhone now, so frustrating… anyone ever had this issue and resolved it?
@@Ministry-Hacks aww thanks so much for coming back! When the phone is in portrait there is only pillar boxing (black frames either side). When landscape it reduces the image to have a black frame around it…
@@Ministry-Hacks Hi, thanks for responding again! Yes all other cameras are fine (CAM 1: Zoom Q2n-4k, CAM 2: MacBook display, CAM 3: USB-C, CAM 4: Zoom Q8) I tried my partners iPhone (same model 13) and same issue, tried an iPhone 7 only get pillar boxing… I’ve tried all permutations of switching each camera into HDMI 1, power cycling each time but no change. I’ve raised a ticket with BlackMagic. Ironically I was using their BlackMagic Cam app to get the clean HDMI from the phone. I have since tried Filmic Pro and the one you mentioned in this video, all with the same result 😕
I've connected the cables like you said but when I open up my camera in iPhone I can see nothing in my monitor (output). Anything I should check? btw, is mandatory to use a specific app to see the image in my monitor? or can I use the native camera app from iPhone? I tried the Shoot app you said but nothing happened.... pleaaase help me!
Pretty sure you need to use the app. And make sure you’re using the right adapter. It needs to be one that provides power. The apple ones do. Some cheaper ones do not.
Hdmi cables to connect cameras, usbc if you’re gonna record to an external harddrive or send the feed out to another computer or screen. And you’ll need an external display monitor to view all camera angels at once
Can you mirror the iPhone to the atem and use the phone’s audio? I’m trynna use my phone as an input while scrolling through IG and TH-cam but I need the audio to be there as well. Will this method alone do the trick?
I wish I had a suggestion but at the moment I don’t have any androids to test. I’d start buy simply connecting your android to the atem as an input and see if your device has an option to have a “clean hdmi output”. If not; then you’ll have to search for an app like that one I mentioned.
It depends on the camera. Some older cameras don’t have a live feed out and it’s only for watching previously recorded videos saved on your camera sd card. I have an old GH2 that works but it doesn’t give me a clean hdmi feed out unless it is recording simultaneously.
Thank you for your complete explanations. You always see complete explanations and this is your most important feature. Thank you very much for being on TH-cam and I learn a lot from you.
It’s an app called “shoot”. I’m sure there are apps that do the same thing for android if you can’t find this one. Or the Blackmagic camera app should be on android too
Does the brand matter for the adapter? I wanna order the $20 ones off Amazon so I don’t have to pay $45 for apple’s. I just had to return 3 HDMI to Lightning cables (no adapter just straight cord) because they didn’t give any feedback from iPhone to ATEM. If you have a link to the adapter please share!
Does the ATEM mini pro allow me to do a hybrid recording and save all the video feeds to my external usb-c drive( with a splitter or external hub of course) ? For example I will record my cuts locally and have a zoom video feed call as well?
The mini pro can record the program output via usb-c to an external harddrive. The mini pro iso can record all feeds as well as the program output to an external harddrive via the usb-c port. Hope this answers your question!
I cannot find the app! Could you send me the link? Thanks a lot ❤

Please is it possible to use my iphone on my Atem Mini Pro without the cable connected to it bcos of distance?
I do not know of a good solution for that, but if you can find some type of wireless device then I think it could be done.

Doesn’t show clear where? Is the camera focused? Check hdmi cables if they are good or not. What’s the fps, iso, aperture set at?

Can the ATEM Mini record FaceTime internal audio and video recording with this same setup?
I’m not 100 percent sure but it should. You’d have to make sure that inputs audio is not muted on the atem.
What is the name off application?
Shoot
How can this be done wireless
You’d need some type of wireless transmitter.

An off brand should work. You may need to get an adapter that allows you to connect power as well. The apple adapter works for sure.
If there is a usbc port on the adapter next to the hdmi, connect that port to a power source. Let me know if that works
Maybe you can help, every time I try this I just get a blank screen!
Are you using the right adapter? I have an apple adapter
You may need to run power to your adapter as well depending on the adapter type
I’m using the same adapter as you I believe, and it is also apply power but my screen is still black. Thank you for the quick reply
Bro what type of type c cable are you using to get video output 2.0 or 3.0
This was an apple lightning adapter to hdmi

For the clean HDMI output that you stated in your video, is it just the Basic + Pro package?
