Salam alikoum, I accepted Islam about 8 years ago, I ask Allah to guide my family, Allah guides who He wants, not who we love, he guided my son Al Hamdollilah, my son does not want to tell the rest of the family, he says he is doing it for himself, he is 24 years old, he is also afraid the rest of the family, I told him it is better for him and the family if he tells them, hiding causes problems, telling them as I did is a way of making dawah through our actions, I pray to Allah to help my son tell the family that he is Muslim and that the family will be supportive.
Inchallah if anyone has any advice for what I can say to my son it would be greatly appreciated

Alhamdulillah. Indeed Allah Guides whom He Wills. Even some of the Companions of the Prophet peace be upon him initially hid their faith in fear of hostility. Be patient with him and keep supporting him. Eventually, when his faith is strong enough he'll shout from the rooftops. May Allah keep us steadfast upon Islam untill we meet Him.

It took the whole world looking at us before we finally began to take action. We forgot that Allah (swt) was looking at us from the beginning. But we didn't care we continued to do what we have done. This JUST didn't happen within the last 35 days, nor the last ten years. This particular genocide has been going on since before 1948. The world may not have been looking then but Allah was.
May we come back to Allah (swt) and HIS (swt) word as we started with Allah (swt) and HIS (swt) word. The world is watching. Amen
How many more innocents will be sacrificed to their god before we stand up? We can not point fingers at everyone else, for then 3 are pointing back at us. InshaAllah we will become stronger in Iman and everything else and be able to rise up and show the true way, Al-Islam. InshaAllah

True, every muslim is an ambassador of Islam. Unfortunately, some muslims show behavior which is very opposite to the teachings of Islam. As an example, Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him) advises us to be patient, but some muslims here in a rich arab country where im living right now are very impatient. The very second the traffic light turns green, they would blow their horn, as if theyre in a state of emergency. This has become the culture here. I think thats a form of bullying. Some of them tailgate other drivers just because they are blessed with land cruisers, lexus, whatnot. I myself is so disgusted with this behavior of some muslims. I hope they change because non muslims view them as thugs. i feel bad that the badge of islam is in the hand of arabs, people equate islam with arabs, i know its not the truth, thats just how this world is.
Lets not even talk about the abuse that household workers face from their "muslim" arab employers. I used to work related to the hiring of workers and i would see the abuse almost everyday. Be it financial by withholding their salary or physical by hurting them. And to think, the Prophet Muhammad(may peace be upon him) advised to give the worker his due before his sweats dry. Its just sad.
I try to highlight with my coworkers everytime an arab does something good to his or her worker, to atleast let others see the goodness with the arabs, but the amount of abuse is just overwhelming. For one time, i thought theyre not muslim for doing this abuse. Its disgusting. They dress very modestly, yet some of them are just soooooo mean. I am actually traumatized in dealing with arabs, as a muslim myself. So you can just imagine the trauma that non muslims have to deal with them.
