May we all do Good Deeds only for Allah’s sake. In’sha’Allah Amazing Qutbah, MashaAllah (May each Faith practice its own teachings of Compassion and Justice with Mercy to minimize violence and injustices and oppression in this great land). Sura 5:48, “To you We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that has come to you.//To each among you We have prescribed a Law and an Open Way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but His Plan is to test you in what He has given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which you dispute.” Sura 5:54, “O you who believe! If any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as as they love Him -humbly with the Believers, mighty against the rejectors, fighting in the Way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the Grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleases. And Allah encompasses all, and knows all things.”🌴 (The toughest jihad is fighting against our own bad self instead of telling others how to live). “Taking too much pride in where we come from -excessive pride in one’s lineage-“ is part of the jahiliyaa/the barbarism of ancient Arabia). Dear Imam tom I request you to make a video about the aqeedah divide among the muslims (Athari, Ashari and maturidi). Are these labels still relevant and how to reconcile between differences? It will be useful if you give historical perspective as well. Jazakallahu khair
