how doe athe throttle works? does it take off at about 58% throttle? mine is not as stable as yours. i have naza M v1. and if i try to takeoff in the living room it does crahshes gainst the wall or so. it leans forward... i wonder if is a calibration problem..

No I don't think that the NAZA lite can be upgraded... but I don't have one and haven't tried.

Well I now have 1st hand experiance that my quad cannot fly with one motor failure which is about the same a losing a prop isnt it? lol I have a motor thats over heating and the aircraft cuts a flip a falls to the ground. haha AND its a sickening thing to see. :(
Uhh I dont know what you want to hear ok but I just bought the NAZA-M (Red label) and when I hooked-it-all-up the "Assistant" asked me to upgrade to V2 2.14, So I did! Everything is running great! Hope I helped! ???
So what is then the different between the V1 and V2 that would justify a almost twice as high price?
I thought the hardware were more or less totally different and thus higher price and that you had to use the V2 firmware only to the V2 hardware?
And i would really like a confirmation that this software would be totally ok to upgrade a V1 with V2 firmware, just so i dont brick my V1 or anything which would REALLY piss me off to say the least because they really don´t come cheap.
Once you upgrade the firmware V1 &V2 are identical in performance.
Example V1 Used to wobble in the wind now V2 compensates for that a lot better. There are a lot people trying to low ball people who are selling V1 dont be fooled all you need to do is upgrade the firmware and the controllers are identical
Nope not XOARs the Turnigy XOAR copies... they are really good and inexpensive.
Do you think this will work on the naza m lite? Reason I ask is I need to edit the default rth altitude as the naza m lite is set at 20m and I have some big trees in my area.
Does it hold better in high wind? Will the naza m v2 be alot better then the v1 even after the upgrade on the v1 or the same? Does the v2 have better senor on it then the v1
Redundent reply: go to DJI and download the new Assistant software and install, Plug in USB cable, power up quad and then plug into your computer.. DO NOT start the software asst until quad is powered and connected to PC
... It (DJI Asst) will automatically sense the firmware, download the new update (can take a few minutes) and then prompt for update... PATIENCE is the key here..
Just a bit of a warning , i did install the new naza firmware and did a test yesterday on a vulcan hex 900 , i have a 3 mode switch , one for manual , atti and gps ,. i took off in atti mode , and it was very erratic , it would shoot up and down and it did not have a smooth response , sensing trouble i switched over to manual mode and it flew fine . I came back and read about other people having similar problems that caused them to crash .

I just bought the v2 w with GPS. is this video saying I could have purchased the cheaper naza and had identical settings as the more expensive unit ?

So does one need to buy the V2 PMU ? or is that just urban myths ?. I see what Blu Sky says, but it seems hard to understand what all the fuss is then. Could some one shed a bit more light please..
Greeting I did downloaded the 2.10 and started it but when I loaded it said there is no update available and that my firm wared does not match something ehehehehhe don't remember

my version is 2.02 but i need the lates and i get no upgrade warning etc?

it does not work i down loaded it and installed it and it runs but it saids there is no update.

The gains on the new firmware don´t match the previous one. Newer is much smoother and controllable...

Just tried to follow your instructions. It looks like DJI has closed down this back-door upgrade. My Naza Lite has been doing weird things. The IMU has been switching to "idle" which results in no stability from the controller and has caused a few nasty crashes. Thanks for the video.
This uppgrade doesnt work on naza lite, only on naza-m.
I tried it on my Naza m lite but dji has shut down this loop. However I have since used the free upgrade tool that can be downloaded from alternative source and it worked perfectly. It has transformed my Naza from a crash machine to a very stable controller.

I have a problem with my Phantom 2 Vision Plus. My Phantom cannot connect to the computer for the update. Anytime I hook up to update, there is an error message that tells me to Connect to the Controller. Do you have any idea for for how to connect so I can update my firmware? And do you know how to reset the battery because after a full charge, it only runs for about 4-5 minute and lands with a red power signal. I checked the battery life. But the green light says it's still good. I don't know what the problem is with the battery. Please reply soon. Thank you.

Great video! Well done! I am building my flamewheel F550, and thinking about using NAZA V2, I've flown the phantom a million times without incident on NAZA V1, how has your experience been so far with V2? Have you had any issues, any instances where it scared you while flying? Thank you!
Can I ask you why you prefer the wooden propellers? I've seen quite a few people with them on various copters.......I'm just curious, because they look good on there as well....Thanks for the video !
Because of default and many problems DJI stop the 3.1 version to modifie it.
It said there is o software update and the firmware is not compatible etc
Idid I moved the stick until got. Solid orange n then I did 360 orange when off n then solid green came on so so put it nose down did 360 solid green start blinking if that right
With the Naza upgrade can you Brushless gimbal? I know that NAZA M lite only support servo gimbals.

go to DJI's website and download Naza Asistant software version 2.10. When you start up the new assistant software you will get a Firmware update notification.

Yes I have flown 2 batteries... I think it flies remarkably better. I still need to retune my GAIN settings to make it fly just right... that will take some time. I don't think it will harm the old hardware... too soon to know.

will naza m lite be able to control 3 axis gimbal after being upgraded to v2?
It seems to stabilize much quicker with less TBE. To early to judge V1 hardware compared to V2 hardware, as I haven't gotten the V2 yet.
It is the GPS Saver from Century Helicopters... It comes stock on their NEO660 Frame. Or as an upgrade for any frame.

Hi... My DJI Phantom work with out any problem it does communicate with the software with in no time. But, My DJI Naza m lite brand new out of the box. LED kept bring fast red. Somebody said, it not program yet. I try to connect it to my Naza m V2 software. but it not communicate with the software. On the software bottom left show " MC Out Put" on red to white while plug the USB cable in. and the software said please connect to the controller. Can anyone help me how to fix this problem.
Ok folks! DJI has slashed their flight controller prices in half! You can now get the M Lite for $80! M V2 for $160! Yes, you can still upgrade the M Lite to V2.

Yes you should recalibrate the compass anytime you make any software or physical changes to the copter. I also do the calibration dance whenever I fly in a new location.
FYI. you do not have to download from the naza2 area any logner, they have updated the naza1 support area to include the latest assistant/firmware.

Installed the new firmware per your tutorial and test flew F550 in gusty wind...... spooled up slowly but once in the air it was a super smooth flight. Also noticed with rapid descents it seems the airframe did not oscillate!

Does this software make you have limits on height you can fly with up to 5miles of airports like the phantom does.??
if it does just like in all the others that do you can over ride them limits just by going to your limits and setting them higher then when the disclaimed window pops up saying some mumbo jumbo that dji takes no responsibility for any risks from over riding the limits CLICK yes you understand and then you can fly as high or far as want and also were ever you want.

What is the distinct difference between the Naza M Lite and the Naza V2, besides the latter being able to control Optocopters?
software is the only difference.

Christian Moeller thats impressive!! Why would DJI let peeps do that? I mean, they sell the version 1 and version 2 at very different prices and you can pritty much have all the benefits of version 2 just doing this upgrade.....for us skinty bastards thats great lol but dji have done something that doesnt make much sense to me!
