What about mapping to pads and knobs? when I registered I did not see none of the additional pluggings. Just the download for MAC/Window file so I do not know where AKAI goes to get access to the other type of software....

Hey, I'm stuck at the point to use hybrid in GarageBand. GB doesn't recognize Hybrid under Plug-Ins after starting GB.. I can start Hybrid separately and choose e.g. the instrument perimeters you used but it doesn't show up in GarageBand.
So when you open up GarageBand go to plugins and than go to AU instruments. Go to AIR Music Technology and you will see Hybrid_x64 and after that you can choose mono or stereo but the same menu and things will pop up as the guy in the video :) hope it helped

If you had the same stuck as me, the solution is: Restart the computer, then open that drop down and you should see “AIR Music Theory”, then select hybrid or the other stuff that may be available.
When I launch Hybrid from garage band like this, I don't see the normal interfaces. It is a convoluted scroll menu and keeps the electric piano sounds active. Even after several restarts. Any tips on that, if it has been seen by anyone here, I would really appreciate.
Hello, Its a lot later, but apple have finally fixed this with garage band now. So for anyone still haiving this issue, Update garage band, then when you load a new project, go to settings > General. In the accessibility section by default you will see a tick next to 'Open Plug-Ins in control view by default' UNTICK this and when you go to plug ins and open your Hybrid or whatever you will get the correct interface and not just a list values, you can select all the presets and its finally over, haha. Hope that helps anyone :)

When Apple launches updates, it doesn't consider every app or software in it, such as plug ins and many Daws. I believe that we will need to wait for AKAI to update their plug ins to be compatible with latest iOS

Come on. You can't do a "How to setup" video that only walks through the plug and play features. What about the pads? I promise 95% of the people here are having pad issues.

I mean seriously, goddamn it, you make this tutorial as if “this is how it works.” I follow your instructions perfectly, even downloading iLok (as fucking useless as that seems like it should be for this process, that it’s more like a junk program that just takes up space on my drive), and when it comes time to select the Hybrid plugin, it isn’t available. What the actual fuck did you forget to include in this tutorial that’s leaving me behind while you go on with how things should be when I’ve done exactly what’s on this tutorial?

This guy selected Hybrid from “recent” and didn’t actually show us how to access it for the first time.
