Good for you. I’m currently running 81% battery health my original battery health that I received it on the first day of last year in summer of July. It was running 84% battery health. This phone is still going strong but I will switch to the iPhone 12th by late November or early December
Uhh quick question you know when you replace your battery for your phone does it say something like this phone is missing a part or something if the iphone battery is Not replaced by apple? Thanks
@@darkblade1392Yes, it will always say that even if you replaced the battery correctly with the proper tools and methods. Despite the battery warning, you can still use the phone like you would normally and there won't be any issues. The battery service warning is only there because the new battery has not been registered by Apple or an authorized third party repair service to the iOS software, which means that the software doesn't recognize the battery (hence the warning about its genuineness). Even if you use an official battery sent by Apple, it will always display that message. Regardless, your iPhone will still continue to use the new battery as it would.
XR has been a good phone overall for me. It does lag every now and then but does my daily tasks fine. Will be upgrading to either a 15 plus or the new 16 series before end of the year
On my old job I had the newest iPhones (iPhone 14 ProMax was the last one before I quit). Since then I use my spare phone - iPhone XR. Honestly, I am super comfortable with the XR, it is a great phone after I changed the battery
Your videos are getting better and better every time and your production quality is always so good! Keep up the great work, one day you’ll be famous believe me!
Using the XR since 2020. The battery is replaced and is the screen. Average screen on time is 4hrs or so. After replacing the battery, phones performance got better. Coz i came to know that the iPhone throttles performance to preserve battery and it worsens when batery is already degraded.
13 mini, still wish that there would be a chance to get it brand new but that’d be hard to find will keep my 14 pro for another 3 years. If you want an iPad get the 9th gen not the 10th
Been using my XR for 2 years now and my only complain is the battery, other than that this phone is “a phone” the camera is fine, performance is fine, screen is fine, it’s not a bad phone but it’s not insanely good and you can get better phones for the price if you willing to use Android (which is what I’ll do next year) but I would still recommend this phone if you’re extremely tight on budget and you want an iPhone with FaceID that just works
I am using an Xr the battery health is 77 it gives 3.5 to 4 hours of screen time. The face id is not working and big black dot on the display. Still using this because of no money.
Took a plate honest I had this iPhone XR since 2023 on July 1 and this year I will considering upgrading to the 12 adventures. My friend from my class showed me yet I just cannot help but getting one the iPhone XR is pretty good over the last one year the crazy part is I think it’s rare to find iPhones that has a previous software because when I received my it was running iOS 15.2.1. I wish I should’ve kept it on that software but I upgraded to iOS 16.6, and then I upgraded to 17.1.2 and right now I am beta testing iOS 18 public beta6, this iPhone add a very long interesting journey since I got it. Bad thing is time for me to upgrade to the 12 and that’s pretty much it. My experience with my current iPhone has been pretty good when I got on the first day I was running 84% battery health now is that 81% but it’s still good either way.
You're better off getting a slightly newer iPhone or an Android flagship from 2020-2021. I don't know about iOS, but Android app compabitibility lasts for many years. Even on Android 7.0, you should still be able to get latest version of popular apps.
Refurbished (A+ quality) iPhone XR from eBay at 125$. A new battery from the local electronic store at 35$. ...And 6 months later it is still working like a champ.
No joke, I lost my Xr 2 weeks ago and I had to buy a renewed se 3 even though I was planning on getting the se 4 when it came it, I had it planned for me to get it for a while Edit, the Xr had a good run, probably one of my favorite iPhones I wish I could still have it
Loved my XR had it for a while only issue was I thought the speaker was low af or maybe mine was just a defect even after cleaning and trying everything the speaker just wasn’t where I would of liked but performance was decent
Brother, please reply to this (I am a college student; fresher):-Apple treats 1 dollar as 100 INR though it is around 85 in general. So a 1000 dollar MacBook is around 100k INR in India. During the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale/Flipkart BBD sale, base M1 MacBook Air will be priced around 50k (500 USD), base M2 Air at around 65k (650 USD) and the base M3 at around 85k (850 USD) and the 16 GB variant of the M3 at around 105k (1050 USD). My logic is :- If I buy M1 Air base variant today; it could last me for next 3-4 years but then its resale price will be 0(in around year 2028-29). We can skip the base M2 and there is no point in upgrading the storage(512 GB as the slow base 256GB sucks) as I could just pick the M3 for that price. Now, for the M3, for the 350 dollars(over the base M1), difference I will get a better laptop for next 3-4 years and after that I would get a resale value of around 400-500 dollars(in around year 2028-29) which means I could kind of own a M3 Air for less than an M1 Air in a 4 year time frame(keeping the resale value in mind). Then, if I add the 16 GB upgrade (extra 200 USD), in the 4 years time, when 8 GB ram would really not be enough, I could get additional 150-200 USD resale value (around 70k or 700 USD) meaning it would cost be around the same as the 8 GB M3 MacBook Air or maybe less as 16 GB ram models will be in demand then. So, what call should I take? Which would be a wiser value for money deal??? Please bro, please reply.
I don’t think any of them is the right or wrong answer. You can still get money for a MacBook after it gets the latest updates because most app developers will still support that computer for at least 3-5 extra years. I’ve sold many 2017 MacBooks over this last year for around $350-$400 USD even through they don’t get the latest MacOS updates. That’s because developers like adobe and Microsoft still update their apps on them knowing people still used those computers.
@@TerrysTechTips I know that a macbook lasts for a long time and all that. But for me as a student, which would be the best option for at least next 4 years?

There could be a few things I can think of. 1) There's dust caked in the charge port 2) The cable may not be considered an "MFI Certified lightning cable" 3) There could be a hardware issue with the charge port or battery. Most 3-rd party repair shops will have a $40-$90 diagnostic fee where they can test parts to try and fix it if you tried option 1 and 2. They will then credit that fee towards a repair.
