How many pounds you figure that tow was?? I’m guessing about 3500.
Im sorry there are so many recreational rod and reel scientists out there lol we have never cought large numbers of bass in the sound.make sure you know what your talking about before you comment
You’re wrong. Do some research. n-magazine.com/sounding-a-siren/
I love this video but is that summer squid ? I guess they found a market for that crap. 🤣 Hopefully the guys made a couple dollars that day.
Its liligo squid bud shortfin.we crushed em that summer 5-10k for an hr tow all summer
We were making 2500 bucks a day 8-10k for a week fill up laid up all night easiest money ever.problably the best loligo season even in 25yrs i saw
That would do me for a week
I'm glad the guy tossed the shark back into the sea
wasnt shark a dogfish
@@dennismoore9147Dogfish are sharks dummie.
This should be illegal
Why? It's a sustainable fishery feeding people all over the world. Mature Loligo Squid only live for six months while producing over 6,000 eggs each.
Why should it be illegal? The fishery is so heavily regulated, what more has to be added to it for you to be happy? Between the price of fuel, insurance, inflation and costs of living, why should working like this be illegal?
You obviously have no clue about fish or fishing. Squid breed like crazy so much that if they didn't fish for them they would become a pest. Do you realise there a quotas and limits of how much fish is to be caught. Go back to your armchair and learn something.
@@jase4270 theyre not fishing for them - they are just removing anything that are caught in the nets without regard for anything necessary for other species food chain. you obviously know nothing about how any of this works and are just simping for large scale industrial trawling operations that are decimating local fish populations
Bass fishing sucks now because they have gone further north following the feed. We never had bass in large numbers now there like flees
Wrong
This is why bass fishing in Nantucket sucks now.
nhlombardi right. I have a spot though where I won the inshore classic this year. With a 48 inch bass.
LMFAO you have no clue what the hell your talking about
OH YEAH!!!!
@@deanfulford69 You have nothing to support your argument you just give me the “ahh you don’t know what ur talking about!” n-magazine.com/sounding-a-siren/
