So glad you’re back. FYI: there’s a typo in the recipe for the Old Friend in the recipe download.. I only mention, because I love that download, its is pretty and elegant and I hope you keep doing them.
The SMILE 😀 I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get choked up a little bit. Thanks for sharing that moment with us Steve. Here’s to continued healing and long life 🥂
Same here. My thoughts exactly! I got choked up when he said, "easing back into it" after his first shake. Cheers @StevetheBartender and glad you're back!
So happy to see that patented Steve the Bartender Smile and Steve the Bartender Style - the most wonderful way to end the winter: lots and lots of sunshine!
Starting back strong! I wanna say I really appreciate you sharing your story the other day, I think it's incredibly important to talk about heart disease in young men! Glad to see you made it through okay, still looking as fresh as ever and you haven't lost the smile when shaking either!
You are doing incredibly well Steve! Go easy on yourself. The memory will come back, brain farts are perfectly normal post-surgery, let alone major surgery, like you have just had. Its great to see you back to it. Well done mate!
6:30 yeah!!! So glad you had the Sunflower in there. It's my favourite, so tasty. I do a nice mist of absinthe instead of the rinse and it is so so good.
Glad you're back and feeling good and I realize you're still getting in the swing of things. But as a newbie, it would have been great to get an intro of what St. Germain is, flavor profile, etc. At a bar, I order mostly what I know, which is why I am now trying to build a home bar. But for less known liquors, it's hard to prioritize which to spend on without knowing more.
Most of the time I have to look up the ingredients of your drinks. They look intriguing even if I can't get them where I live. Keep giving us that smile with the shake!
Welcome back! Having been through my own health issues this past year, I can empathize with the struggles to get back in the flow. But it’s so great to see you back behind the stick sharing your passion with the world! Best wishes for this next phase!
Welcome back, Steve! Great to see you again, and glad you're feeling better. I've been wondering about St Germain for a while, if for no other reason than the bottle is so beautiful, and now I have a few reasons to pick one up. Cheers!
1. Thanks for this video! St.Germaine doesn’t have a lot of classic cocktails, so I’m never sure what to do with it. This video solved that problem. 2. Once your gin comes to the states, I’ll be first in line to grab a bottle! 3. Welcome back! Great to see you back on here :)
Love to see the Glasgow Muel represented. One of the favorites in my house. And so happy to see you back. Know that my family is smiling along with you.
Steve, Had no idea why I wasn't seeing your content. So very glad you are back and doing well. I have inspired me to make better cocktails at home for friends and loved ones so hope your health (heart health) continues to improve.
I don't usually comment and like the videos, but man, I have been subscribed since days, glad to see you back, hell yeah man! Your smile makes even a man smile
Steve, I love your channel👍...I love that you put the recipes in milliliters too.😋 A real royal with seven recipes😝...Wooow I love your return on strength.🍾🥂🙂
King Steve is back! Been whipping up recipes from your cocktail book, now I'm going to need to expand my list! The sunflower looks so good, will have to try it, especially now that the weather is warming back up in the states
it was indeed a pleasure to see you behind the bar once again. As nearly everyone else has already said, the "shake smile"...well I missed it more than i imagined. And i think i am going to have some friends over and we are going to make all (or most) of these for a St Germain cocktail evening. thanks for the inspiration.
Hey Steve. Wednesday as promised. Mixologist of your word 😂. Have heard and seen St German but wasn’t sure what it was. So an elderflower liqueur. The Maximillian Affair 🤔. I thought all Mules had ginger. Getting my lesson today. Uh oh. I spoke too soon. You just added the ginger beer. Love different versions of Moscow mules 😋😋. I’m not a fan of gin but would try the Sunflower as I love Cointreau and Gremain too? 😋😋. Guess you can tell I love sweet cocktails 😂. Also like cucumber 🥒 cocktails. From your garden? Wonderful. The Go-To different. Would try it. The Rib Tickler is interesting. No main liquor. Ok that’s what you mean by low AV. Now the Old Friend I see has grapefruit juice which I like but gin and Campari? I would try even though haven’t had a grapefruit cocktail I’ve liked. Lovely color indeed. Would try the Easy Street too. As long as it’s sweet I will try. Thanks for the recipes. Hopefully no discomfort in your chest muscles and rib cage. You are the #1 shaker with a smile. Thanks so much and see you next Wednesday 🍹🍸🥃.
Welcome back! Here in Greece after a surgery we say "σιδερένιος" which means made of iron or as a wish you could translate it to "may you be tough as iron onwards"
So glad to see you back behind the bar with that good ole heartwarming smile Steve. I’m happy to see you’re making a comeback and I can’t wait for what you’ve got coming down the pipeline. We’re rooting for you (and your gin) here in the states! ❤️🤘🤘
Steve wowza!! These drinks are all so wonderful! I'd be thrilled with any of these beauties!! Love to see you making spectacular cocktails and it's so good to know you are healing well and on the road to a spectacular recovery from such a massive cardiovascular surgery. I have been so concerned. I am sending caring wishes and as always I so enjoy your videos and your kind, funny, intelligent nature as you talk to so many people watching!! You rock!! Cheers!! 🙂
That first shake gave me chills... SO SO good to see you back at it. From all of us, cheers and welcome back Steve! Can't wait to see all that you do in 2024!
Welcome back. I watched your last vid about your heart operation and I’m so sorry for that. But in the end, you still here, making vids for us and have fun. Wish you get stronger to do what you love to do the most. The shaking was lower than before though. 😅
Had to make the easy street soon as we finished watching the video! My wife was wishing there were more St. Germain recipes in the book and now we have them. E-book downloaded and going in the back! Cheers!
Welcome back! And a hell of a cocktail to open with. The Maximillian Affair is such a wild inspired cocktail in terms of specs. I can't think of too many other cocktails with this type of build. The Queen's Park Hotel Super Cocktail is the closest thing that comes to mind for its combo of citrus and vermouth, but still very different.
Glad to see you back. The Glasgow mule and Go To are going on my to-do list for sure. Particularly the latter, since I love the London Maid and this is like an extended highball version of it with ginger beer.
Well done Steve! Some of these were new to me and noted. Great to have seen you back in shaking action. Nick from York

Nice to see that smile again! Came to say that Easy Street is very much the same as White Linen, except that White Linen is preferably made with Hendrick's Gin.
You read my mind with this one. I've been thinking about buying St-Germain for weeks but haven't pulled the trigger yet because I wasn't sure how to use it.
The Sunflower sounds devine! Right up my alley. Good to see you back Steve & congrats on curating an incredible group of subscribers!! You’ve lost a little weight, but not that beautiful smile 😃
@@StevetheBartender_ That’s a lot! I assumed it was the result of the surgery & recovery. Are you trying to lose weight? If so, you’ve accomplished that. Don’t go gettin all skinny 😔😂
I’ve been making something I didn’t have a name for, for some time now. I think it would have to be My Old Friend Maximillian: 1pt Mezcal, 2pt gin (I love how the two go together), and one part each Campari, lime, St. G (these three alone taste like grapefruit juice. Add a grapefruit flavored seltzer and it’s a synthetic Paloma)! Thank you for sharing these!

The big man is BACK! The rust was real. 😅 Great to have you back, brother. Nice round up of cocktails using the "Bartenders Ketchup". Cheers!
Haha, just a tad rusty hey! It has been 4 months since picking up a jigger 😂
Shake it away, you still got it!
Husband said from the other room "I can hear shaking so I assume Steve is grinning at the camera". So glad he was right, and that you're back!
Hahahah thanks Janet!
