[whispers]: You're welcome!
Thank you so much.Love your BJJ Fanatics instructionals too, hope you will make one focused on chokes.
Love seeing your sense of humor come out more in your videos.
Agreed! If you ever watch his videos with Shintaro, I find it's very much the same there as well.
Thank you!!!
ive been trying to increase my TPR, thank you!
I wish I could subscribe twice to your channel. Never stop uploading
Gotta make another account 😉
That TPR in the title made me laugh as well😂
Thank you, Mister Glick. Love the content.

Glad you enjoyed it - thanks very much!
Nice!
beautiful!
Thank you!
Thanks awesome explanation, could you also share when you squeeze the elbow with the outside arm, hope I’m making sense
Great explanation of how they differ and how to do them! Thank you.
What does the sag do to help finish? Thanks again
Taps per session imho. I'll be looking forward to seeing those TPS reports on my desk, m'kay?
The video was glicking out! Lol😂👍
Any tips on the finishing mechanics for the high wrist ?
😂. Fun one
Professor Glick- I love to see (and now in whispered voice…) a slowed down version of the finishing details of the high wrist guillotine the way you and Gordon hit it. Showing notnonly the sag, but the what the non-high wrist arm grabs in the arm in version, which way you fall, how much you crunch, how much the outside leg matters, etc.
Whisper completed.
🙃 haha thanks for checking it out
Great stuff Brian. Do you do a standard chin strap / front headlock before shooting for the high wrist or go directly to it?
Dame doubt
Usually set up with front headlock control - either open or locked hands 🙃

Hi mr Glick, question for you - which of these two do you prefer or hit more when rolling? cheers!
Brian, would you recomend to transfor arm in guillotines in high wrist, if the oponent does no grip fight?
Professor Glick i have a question on single leg x and maintaining it. What if they peel the top hook (near the hip) and control it.I am speaking specifically about bigger and stronger opponents that have a good base and strong grips. I had a roll earlier and had trouble clearing the grip and got stacked all because of him controlling the leg near the hip in SLX.
I have problems getting my strangle-arm under the chin when switching from chinstrap/turtle to finishing position on my butt…any suggestions?
You might find Charles oliveira here
Can you explain the anchor grip more? Do you just grab their arm? Does Gordon grab his own far elbow with the free arm? ;)
Alright i've got a question. Now i've been around a minute, been doing bjj for just shy of ten years, and my guillotines suck - NOT because I can't do them, i've just kinda stopped going for them because I find it insanely hand to get my hand/arm in position without them latching onto it immediately (even if i'm not even doing anything, might just be chin strap or seatbelt).
Any advice for the SETUP (not so much the finish itself) and how to stop them from shitting the bed the second they feel any arm contact?
How do you get out of that? Thank you!
So with high wrist you don't connect with the other hand at all?
As you sit back, do you still have to worry about blocking your opponent moving to the other side of your body to escape?
Would the High Wrist work with a Mounted or Top Half-Guard Guillotine?
Can you arm triangle escape??
Thank you, professor! Are guillotines easier if you have long arms? Mine are short and bulky, it feels difficult to get the elbow to the center line or to get my wrist high enough. I feel I’m missing something 😅
General, rough trade-off with limb length is longer limbs generally make it easier to get into strangles but slightly more difficult to close tightly given the extra space whereas the opposite holds true for shorter-limbed athletes.
Marcelo is probably the most notable guillotine specialist and has short limbs. Gordon has longer limbs and also has an absolutely lights-out guillotine game.
Looks like the same choke...
The choking arm position is the same. It's just a difference in setup and the secondary hand
TPR? So dumb lol
TPR? what a useless acronym
It's not an acronym
@Fisj so what is it bro?
@@paulocarre1 an abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words
@@Fisjthat’s an acronym
Technically @@Fisj is right. An acronym is actually pronounced as one word like “NASA.” This is an example of initialism like “USA.”
