Brian! Thanks for having me on again! Hope to have you on my channel again soon!
No doubt Mr. Glick is on Tren. It's obvious. :)
Any time! We’ll do it again soon 😊
Placido is more jacked every video. Appreciate the content fellas
ha! it's all AI editing haha
That's a low single, but cool anyway.
You guys are my favourite thing to come out of the whole RGA/DDS sphere. You're both so humble and relatable.
I really like seeing Placido not being tortured by that bald John guy... good times.
Not that much nowadays, but at the beginning, John’s videos were brutal to see due to how bad he traded this kid.
We all know what sells DVDs
This is great thanks! One of my coaches who was a wrestler went over this before and it's so awesome to see a refresher! Placido makes it look so easy.
Well done guys!!
Nice explanations here!
This is great
Great content as always Brian!
Glad you enjoyed it - thanks for watching!
Tren hard, Brian! ;)
Sick
Over my years on the mats, I find the ankle pick from multiple spots to be the most effective takedown I have, gi or nogi. My experience is that double and singles are known to almost all the guys I train and spar with, as opposed to an ankle pick, which I have never had used on me in 13 years of jiujitsu. That says a lot I feel as to the effectiveness of that family of technique. This is great stuff guys. I encourage all my students both kids and adults to employ them. Thanks for the excellent elucidations Coach Glick and of course Placido!
i couldn't agree more!
Forged by Donaher, tempered by Glick
hahaha
I think that's more of a low single rather than an ankle pick, but call it whatever you want so long as it works. lolo
You're prob right, that specific finish i showed is more akin to a low single. With that said this grip is used to achieve a plethora of different finishes, ankle picks included.
Jon Smith is smiling on this content
100% what I was thinking…How Low Can You Go!!
Who was the wrestler he mentions at the beginning?
Sidakov
What's the name of that wrestler again?
sidakov
Love the stuff! Reminds me of John Smiths' low leg single. Thanks for breaking down some of the finer details.
Not a reminder...it is John Smith low single ...set up...and finish
Osu!
placido moves and talks like travis stevens
that's a great compliment! travis is a manimal
Team Tren Brian, come to the dark side @placido
This is not an ankle pick my friends
But he picks the ankle though 😅
That’s called a low single and I have been hitting it for over 25 years (learned it by watching John Smith), I believe it’s the highest percentage shot to get to.
