We need more people like you and me in the sense that we have a past with the LGBT community but picked up the cross and followed Christ, to go out and empathically evangelize, and remind others that it's okay to struggle with temptation.
Absolutely, I've struggled with homosexual feelings for years and its ok to be tempted by them. Temptation is going to happen to all of us; it just appears in different forms. What you can control is your actions- whether you act on the feelings or not.
You are one brave and wise young girl and God is crazy proud of you! Luke 15:7 says, "there is more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need to repent." I don't know how your video came up in my feed, but I listened to every word you said and I don't know you, might never ever know you, but I'm so proud of your courage and heart and determination to follow Jesus. You might not feel Him, you even might feel alone, but He knows our coming and our going. Again, God put this on your heart to share for His glory. He makes no mistakes and is using you to shine His light on others. God bless and keep you as you follow Him!
I’m so glad you feel this way. I think Christians just need to understand that not everyone is interested and that’s okay. But if you’re kind and gentle they might be. I’ve see so many Christian’s be so aggressive, and I don’t know what makes them think that will make someone want to follow their religion. So it’s nice to see someone else showing the right way to go about it. ❤️
So true! Let us love ALL of our neighbors as ourselves! Christ loved us when we were sinners! How can we not do the same? Your point on judgment made me think of Romans 2:1! How can we judge (condemn in our hearts) those who struggle with what we struggle with: sin! Keep shining the light and exposing the dark!!
absolutely. i’ve seen so many christians try to force-feed their beliefs down others throats, and it often happens the moment they find out someone is gay/trans/etc. is that how Jesus would have done it? He would have been gentle, loving, and thoughtful with the person. our goal when sharing the gospel shouldn’t be to immediately produce a plant, but to instead plant a seed that, with time, can grow into something beautiful. love the shirt btw!! sending prayers and ❤️
And as a Christian all the LGBT people I've met so far are just laughing at me for being a Christian and having a different opinion on the trans & gay thing than them
@Makaron_Games They're either forgetting to or choosing not to be loving like Jesus. Instead of laughing, they should be showing love to you as Jesus loves all. Like I believe that homosexuality is against the Bible and acting on homosexual thoughts is sinful but I try to be loving to all. And if I'm able to bring scripture to them in a loving way, then I will. And that is because I love them that I'll tell them the error of their ways, because I don't want to see them fall into sin, and because it is what God tells us to do.
Yes!! It breaks my heart that so many Christians view the community as "more sinful", and even great Christians who say they don't think one sin is worse than another can *easily* fall into judgment. My dad was in professional theater for the majority of his young teen/adult years, and therefore was around lots of that community and got a firsthand witness to how they feel (without actually being gay). He's talked to me about a lot of what that community goes through and the hate and pain they receive and how to empathize with everyone. This whole idea can be very confusing for both sides to find the balance of loving and telling the truth about who we are actually called to be by God. What you are doing is amazing and I have not heard a single thing you've gotten wrong; you're absolutely right. Keep going; you are changing lives!!!
I can see the light radiating from you! I agree as Christian’s we should treat everyone with love, to show them the love Jesus offers, and to not condemn them.. I pray you can be a light to those who are struggling and that you have the boldness to share the gospel everywhere to make a difference in this world. God bless you!
YES !! I’ve been watching your videos and YES !! Many many many Christians unfortunately do not do this . I used to be a hateful person and when I got saved a couple months later I was thinking , “why do I hate people that Jesus loves” ? A lot of people don’t want to hear that they are going to Hell when in their heads they think they’ve done nothing wrong . I see a lot in videos they usually ask , “what sins”? And sometimes telling people bluntly does work sometimes but not all the time . Approach with love and how much Jesus loves them , bc they want to be accepted and known and Jesus can give them that . Jesus loves them where they are at and He loves them enough to not leave them like that , broken and sad , hateful and many more . God bless you ! ❤
i love your videos sm :) i used to make mistakes in spreading the gospel a long while ago to people in general (not specifically to the lgbt), i was so confused, and now i'm trying to be more gentle and kind and showing my love for them more!!!
To see this on my feed, thank God, I've seen the perspective of street preachers evangelising and God has definitely softened my heart to see his influence on those who hear. And to see you. You are a walking testimony and I rejoice knowing that you will see the unyielding love of God. He who starts a good work within you will continue it until the coming of lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Your labor is not in vain.” when. You feel like giving up. Always remember to distrust your thoughts and rely on His word, really life saving🫂❤️❤️
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THESE VIDEOS. I am a Child of God and I’ve been wrestling with how to speak to my brothers and sisters about this. It hurts my heart to see the devil take their identities captive in this way. The verse you’re speaking about is 1 Peter 3:15-16, and so many people miss the second part which is to talk to people with gentleness and respect. you have encouraged me so much, so thank you ✝️❤️ You are going to help so many people with your detransition story, and God is going to use this to the full extent. I think of Joshua’s story in Genesis where all the bed things happened to him but God used it for good! Never give up and don’t let anyone discourage you. “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12 . GET IN GODS WORD, and see all that he has planned for you. God loves you so much and is very pleased with you. Never stop making these videos and speaking out, even if it gets hard(guess what, God is on your side!) . If you are ever feeling vulnerable, remember that you can “cast all your cares on God, for he cares for you.” There will be hard times but you just have to go to God! I am sharing your story and videos to my friends. I would love if you could give me more practical advice on what to say to people in the lgbt community. Like a video talking about what not to say versus what to say. Also what people said to you that you received well versus not receiving well. God bless you!
I noticed you turned off the comment section in your last beautiful testimony on detransitioning and I just want to say that was WONDERFUL. God bless you. 🤗 It's a wonder how God can melt hearts in times of need. Like when you're down at the bottom of your luck and you need help. I was there at one point and I needed Jesus to break my chains of sin. Thank God for you. Let us all carry our crosses together. Amen ❤🤙🙏🤗🌺
This put a smile on my face, I love your videos so much and iv been thinking about this topic a lot (thank you for talking about just showing love to people, it seems like many forget we are ALL children of God and all loved by him)
THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING!!! honestly im so happy for you and that your eyes were opened to your sins, you seem like such a lovely person. BUT YES we need to treat everybody with love and respect no matter their values or their sins. That is the word of God. I know He's very proud of you!! have a blessed day!!! :3
I’m literally the same way when it comes to sharing God’s love with others outside of my own beliefs. Some may not wish to follow Christ even after I share His love and that’s okay because I know not everyone’s gonna be Christian. It’s impossible for everyone to be Christian. Because in reality, not everyone’s gonna go to Heaven. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the truth. But I appreciate you making this video though because a lot of Christians nowadays judge too quickly and harshly. It’s always good to take a step back and think about how you come across other people. The only judge is God Himself and we should not be doing that. ‘Nuff said. God bless you! 🙏🏻❤️
I’m so happy you found Jesus and I’m also a Christian and I have lots of LBTGQ+ friends who aren’t religious but I still love to hang out w them and I sometimes bring up the gospel so I do think it’s good and I agree that we should treat everyone equally. 🫶
@@prayforshijah Could you cite a verse? There are many verses that warn you about being influenced by sinners but none that say you can't be friends with one
@@paigelavergne9125 there’s plenty. read them all: 2 corinthians 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?” 1 corinthians 15:33 - “Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” Proverbs 13:20 -“Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm” Proverbs 22:24-25 - “Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.” Psalm 26:4-5 - “I do not sit with men of falsehood, nor do I consort with hypocrites. I hate the assembly of evildoers, and I will not sit with the wicked.” 2 Thessalonians 3:6 - “Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.” James 4:4- “You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
@@prayforshijah Do do relize we are all sinners, right? You are, I am, everyone is (except Jesus ofc) God says we are to love our neighbors, which includes people who are not Christian. The Bible does say to surround yourself with fellow believers and to let go of people who are pulling you away from God, but what if a non believer wants to go to a friend for advice? What if they have questions they aren’t comfortable asking around anyone else? I think Addy is right for treating these people as her friends and even bringing up the gospel around them, which can be difficult for some people. I personally admire it because it is something I wish to improve on. God used my friends who were believers to invite me to a local youth group and my life has never been the same! If they weren’t in my life and had stopped caring for me because I wasn’t a believer, where would I be? Sorry for the rant 😅
@Salads_do_drawnah, i’m talking about willful sinners that have no desire to repent. if the “we’re all sinners” excuse was valid, the bible wouldn’t be telling us not to be friends with them. you can love people and not be friends with them. you can also talk to an unbeliever about God if they have a question. i mean, that’s what Jesus did, but he wasn’t friends with them. in your case, you were actually open to it, whereas in hers, they’re still continuing in their sin.
You are very wise! Thanks for making this video. It bugs me when people who claim to be Christians aren't loving to others. In the Bible it says the second greatest commandment is to "Love your neighbor as yourself" (It says the greatest commandment is to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.") A good thing to remember is to love the sinner, not the sin itself. So it's not like we should support their sin, but I don't think it's the best to just ignore it either. Like you said in your video, gently and lovingly bring the Gospel into their lives. And if you can do it gently and kindly, let them know the errors of their ways. Pray to God to help you find the right words to say. Sorry that was a ramble from me but this was an awesome video!!
Absolutely agree! Being gentle is key. When someone rejects God, the best thing to do is show them His wonderful love through your life and treat them with kindness and respect. Who are we to look down on others for ANY reason? God says we all fall short, so let's try to lift each other up! 💕
something i love saying is "God does not hate us he hates our sin" because its true! Youve brought up so many valid points. Even though they are sinning in what they are doing God calls us to LOVE everyone literally one of the ten commandments is to LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
As someone who sufferes with depression anxiety and a lot of other things I just want to thank you for your content and I also wanted to recommend something that has helped me I recently became one of Jehovah’s witnesses I’m not telling you to change your religion I just wanted to recommend you try it because I feel like it’s helped me a lot it’s not for everyone but stay strong I know it’s hard when you feel as if your suffocating in your mind surrounded by shadows I pray god helps you.
Very well said! I believe an example of talking to people with gentleness and tact about the gospel is in John 4, where Jesus talks to the Samaritan women at Jacob's well. He started off with asking her for some water and then had an insightful conversation before adding in the gospel (to which she responded really well, even spreading the Good News to other Samaritans).
Yes, this is exactly it! When I am given a chance to share the Gospel, I always start by saying that Jesus died for them. I think it always has a profound impact on a person’s views of Christianity when they’re told that the God we worship cares enough about them to die in the most horrible way and rise again so that we may have life. Too many people either choose staying silent and letting people stay separated from God or shouting at people who don’t want to open their hearts to Him. So, as Christians, let’s give people a reason to for them to follow Christ!
Lmao during the whole video I was just silently screaming TELL EM TELL EM!!!!!! This so important, please let there be more people like you in this world!
Hey I just want to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciate the content you produce. I have such a deep respect for you. Your words truly inspire. I have personally never identified as part of the LGBT community, I have a deep love for them. I see a people that have been deeply hurt, especially by Christians and I just want to love them. Your videos truly help me understand the people better, so thank you.
❤Thank you for the advice❤ PS: just saying I am happy for you, I watched one of your films before you decided to detransision, so after you appeared on my fyp it really made my day God bless you!
Amen! You're a very brave young woman with a beautiful heart. God bless you for speaking the truths many in this day and age are afraid to. Thank you for your unique perspective on this. The Lord be with you on this journey and give you strength and courage to keep speaking the truth, no matter what anyone says.
share the Gospel in detail too. some people get it as following Christianity and not Christ. i was also one of them rainbow folks at one point. but i saw this video short about the Gospel. it wasnt hooping and hollering nothing, just getting straight to it. and lookie now, my faith is in Jesus, im forgiven, and im not in that same ditch as before. as a Christian now, i do see some folks thinking that gently preaching the Gospel is watering down the truth. just dont leave out parts and your good.
As someone who's non-denom + a believer God won't really care that much you're gay and more likely than not has bigger fish to fry, even while I have a different interpretation than you may, this video is incredibly relieving to see, as I've had some incredibly hostile encounters with those who are religious, and a lot of them being Christian. Don't get me wrong! I understand preaching is a big part of some branches and overall a part of Christianity, however I feel like it becomes a little too much once you're yelling at the person /lh So it's great to see there's still other Christians who, even w/ different interpretations, can still grasp the idea of respect towards other and actual kind preaching. Great short video, got straight to the point, 10/10. God bless
It’s amazing to see someone make this video, not all Christians are harsh towards the LGBT community but many are and they definitely need to see stuff like this. May God bless you and may you grow wiser each and every day!
As someone who had grown up around both sides of Christianity and lgbtq community (my friends and I myself included), God loves us all, he wants us to thrive and to love, to live in unity and peace among each other with our choice of free will. I can say for certain that most in these communities just want to love and love others, just as us Christian’s must do for our mission in life. I recently started following my holiest Father again around November, I had forgotten my ways of truth, goodness, love, all of it. The world we live in today may be our last days, it may not. I do believe today America is the whore of Babylon, we influence so much negativity and evil, not just by actions either. However continue having faith, just as we trust the people we love in our life we must trust God, he knows what’s best for our mind, soul, body. His plan is great for us even with all the wicked today, let us burden our cross we carry in how Jesus did for our lord. We are sinful and wicked, every one of us. My Father in heaven, please bless this kind Woman who has been sharing and preaching your gospel, I pray to you Father, and ask that by your will give all hope and faith to those who are in the dark. Let those who are stuck find the light within themselves, and their spirits be uplifting upon to you. Invite the Holy Spirit to cleanse our wicked ways and the wicked world we live in, to consume us with thriving love and prosperity through you and your holiest son. Please forgive all the people who have been led astray, the ones who start wars, the ones who prey on the innocent and taint our entirety. I pray for protection among those who are caught in the evil, that you send the angels from above to guard them, to relay your words of love and holiness. Oh my dear Lord, thank you for all that you bless us with, with every moment of goodness and grace you give, thank you for every breathing day of life you breathe into my lungs. I love you father, and I love you Jesus, upon his Sons name blessed we may be, in Christ’s name, Amen.
When I was a lukewarm Christian I was living a bisexual lifestyle and it kind of developed after the things I was exposed to on the internet at a young age and it felt like it was more and more apart of me as time went on. One day my dad had suspicions about it and got very upset at me and it made me want to not be a Christian. Then Jesus revealed Himself to me at church and He actually understood what I was going through p.s. He really does understand. It was hard and even as a true Christian I still have dealt with temptations, but God has helped me every step of the way and I'm so thankful to Him. Also there are many nice people in the lgbt but sadly they are living a sinful lifestyle and are in need of the truth🙏✝
Hey! I saw your previous videos! Please do not be afraid at all! You are so sincere and emotional about everything, and you are a beautiful young lady, don’t let anyone tell you that you aren’t precious, And keep your bright style too! That hair is giving 🔥 I’m alternative myself, it’s ok to be different and you are repentant. I’m subscribing, if you need anyone we are here for you❤❤❤
You are right. By reflecting God's love to them and sharing his truth, much more will lend an ear, and when they do turn to God, God himself will lead them out of their sin, same way he did for you.
This is absolutely true! I’ve heard many people who were atheists and stuff that said they hated God and Christians because they either kept pushing Christianity on them or they saw hypocrites in the church. I feel that as Christians we should be careful about how we act, especially around nonbelievers, we should not try and push our faith on others but rather inspire others though the way we live our daily lives. We should let others know we are followers of our mighty King Jesus through the way we act, dress, etc. Not by saying with our mouths that we are Christians and then live lives as if we were part of the world, Jesus tells us that we should be separate from the world so when people see us they get inspired to willingly want to follow Jesus because they see how wonderful and beautiful it is.
While working on your feminine essence do realise there is a masculine element you can deeply cultivate and that is in the heart. Look up the lives of the saints just focusing on women. Look up the life of Saint Mary of Egypt, or of Saint Xenia of Petrograd. So many uncounted valourous, courageous women not typically in physical combat, but in spiritual war they have wielded the fiercest struggles for Truth, for God, for sinners, for families, communities, and nations to turn back to The God. Harness the masculinity from Christ, and let your heart be the beacon point of that. A lighthouse for lost souls. Bless you child.
I wanted to comment this to encourage you! You look lighter, you seem more grounded. You look happy. And the greatest testimony you can give is this one that you are giving in real time. The Lord wants you to know in this moment how much He loves you, and how much He wants you to know it. I bless you with prosperity, empathy, a sound mind, and a heart for truth, In Jesus's name, Amen.
I very much agree, but I would like to say that, generally, traditional Christians aren't as people imagine. There certainly are people who would chase those in the LGBT community, but I'm fairly certain that most biblical and confessional Christians are aware that being cautious, loving, and kind is the best way to handle the situation. Though I think that people tend to pay more attention to the ones that are rather insensitive.
I agree. While we shouldn’t condemn unbelievers, we should definitely tell them about the message of the Gospel. John 3:17 “ For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
Summary of this Sister’s words 1) Treat them with Dignity and Respect 2) Talk them like a Human Being 3) GENTLY introduce them to the Word of the Gospel 4) GENTLY tell and show where they are going wrong (use Bible verses) 5) Love them even while living in sin, Be Like Jesus (Example: Jesus ate with sinners) 6) Don’t be Judgmental with their lifestyle
Thank you for your wise words, many Christians spreading thr gospel could have a lot to learn from this video ❤ And I pray in Jesus' name that you will be healed of your Schitzoaffective disorder and your Derealisation, my sibling in Christ 🙏 amen
Yes. We just need to plant seeds. Ur the living proof Jesus can save everyone. The Holy Spirit is powerful. Sad that they think that we are disrespecting them completely because we say that they are wrong and in sin because it becomes a part of their life 😔
The Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but must be gentle to everyone, able to teach, and patient, instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 2:24-25) In the end, we're all made in the image of God, with dignity, all sinners in the hands of an angry God, and all needing of mercy. Gentle words of concern for their spiritual hunger is what every sinner needs, show them the bread of life.
thank u so much for sharing your story with us! :) i would love your perspective on using preferred pronouns, because it teeters the line of respecting them (which i want to do) and affirming their sin (which i don't want to do).
I was living just like you were, but i changed for God like u, now i want to talk about God with my queer and non christian friends so bad, but i think i might be doing it wrongly, because it seems like they don't get me😢 but i just want they feel the same piece that i do
although this comment might be deleted we have to understand while yes while preaching and talking to the lgbtq you gotta stay loving and respectful we have to remember Leviticus 20:13 and etc so dont lead them deeper into their sinful lifestlyle show them the love of jesus and how great it is while telling them the truth
You say "LGBT community" and what you advised is correct for most ppl there. But the movement is spomsored and owned and pushed by money, and malicious actors. If you look at class structure theres an entire bourgeoisie rank & filing it. Christ said 'love your enemies'. He did not say 'you have no enemies', 'dont recognize your enemies'. Immanuel's message is the exact opposite of everything in 'new age'. Togetherness, unity etc. He says 'i bring division'. As evil abounds we see more of this 'new age' with its theme to blend all things together that shouldnt be. To fuse or con-fuse. Christ draws distinctions and delights in the differences He created as a gardener delights in the flowers, and trees, and the birds nesting in them. Be well. Bless you child.
This is definitely true!!! The Bible says to treat everyone with respect, even the one who persecute you. I don’t really agree with the LGBTQ+ ideas about gay, trans, lesbian etc. but I don’t hate a single one of those people. We are all made in the image of God and He created us as male and female, He ment for male and female to to get married as husband & wife not as other wife & wife or husband & husband. I’m not saying this to shame or hate on LGBTQ+ people I’m just stating my view on it. And I certainly am not trying to push my opinion on anyone, I respect every person and love everyone! I pray the best for you your family and everyone else! May God bless you abundantly!!!
Wish I could like it more than once. All we have to do is share the Gospel, following Jesus, and God will do the rest. It’s not our job to correct specific sins, that’s between God and the new follower. God has divine providence, and will show each child what to do next at the right time. This is sanctification- God showing us the way, and us following- one step at a time.
@KyreynaRamirez-Relleno-ct8tw yeah sometimes it is God’s job, but the Bible does say to correct when necessary, and to only do so in a way that is beneficial and helpful to the person, and to bring no embarrassment or publicity to the situation. I know you were talking about something a little different but I just wanted to throw this out there :)
As a queer semi-Christian, I appreciate your intentions and emphasis on kindness, respect, and understanding.❤️ Just a gentle reminder that lots of people in the community have trauma around this sort of stuff, so it’s probably best to not try to bring up religion at all. We already know most consider us “wrong”, so hearing it another time likely won’t change anything except drive some away more. If you feel you must, just be prepared to back off and drop it if received negatively.❤️ I really do appreciate how much time to spent making it clear to be gentle and loving, and I don’t want anyone to take my comment as hate. Rather just another perceptive that you may have not heard before!❤️ And people can be part of the LGBTQ+ community and be Christian! I know a couple churches with pride flags outside their buildings, in fact!☺️
I'm a Queer Christian myself, and this channel is ABOUT her journey de-transitioning and coming to Christ. If you can't deal with that, this channel may not be the one for you. If so, that's ok. Just move on. But don't silence someone and stop them from sharing their experience. As for the LGBTQ+ churches, they do not follow the Word of God.. and not just when it comes to Queer issues. Those "progressive" churches, do not follow many teachings of the Bible and would be what Jesus calls "false prophets" !! If you truly want to follow Christ, repent and be baptised, read His Word and follow Him!
So as a life long Christian i haven't met many lgbt people. My question is, how? Be gentle, yes but how? God still told then what would happen, and how should i explain that its not MY judgment but God's judgment on the way they live their life, I dont make the rules, how do i express that? Genuinely curious
Try it like this speak 1 on 1 and start with the fact that we are all sinners. You don’t have to point out specific sins first just start with the general point that everyone has sinned. Step 2 get to the Gospel message. Now the Gospel has been spread and from there answer any questions and have a deep serious conversation. At the end offer to pray for the person you talk to
Jesus loves you so much that if he was willing to die for us the we as Christians should be able to disagree but in a way that honors him, I would like to share with you some verses that have help me keep my head up while Jesus works on my heart, Psalm 143:6-8 & Psalm 142:1-7. May God continue to bless you
The fact that ppl seem to see sexuality or romantic feelings towards same sex is problem. It's actually flesh not principalities. For example I as child understood sex isn't everything and If you are gay and sleep with someone you can still repent. Some people can't find paretners being straight. Why? Maybe they see themselves being with God and family would reduce It or they can't because they're infertile or before when you couldn't travel in history was maybe just autistic or have autism or being awkward with other sex or maybe they were sinners or criminals long time ofc and people seems to avoid them in that way and they themselves didn't felt worth It and everyone else find their partner and actually some pretty early in life so they ended up waiting for so long.
I think Impact video ministries mafe a video like that, and they were talking about Christians should treat LGBT the way that Jesus would want us to do. I believe that I heard those reasons before. But, hey, you should watch their vids. Also, saw your detransitioning vid. There should be a lot of people who should give up LGBT for Jesus like you did to prove they are being serious of being a christian.
Fellow LGBT person here who believe in God but left christianity. Kind or not kind, I think it is quite pretentious for any christian to affirm they know what is God's will. Just because you people read one book (the Bible) doesn't mean you suddenly know everything about what God wants for humanity. It is still a mystery for all of us, no one can know (maybe we'll know in death ?) So because of that, I don't see why christians would affirm they know how people should live their life and make it an excuse to act like they know better than the people they talk to. Quite condescending and pretentious to do ! They say LGBT+ identities are sins. Because they read it in the Bible (which is something that could be objected, by the way. When taking into account cultural context, the intention of the person(s) who wrote the books of the Bible and the fact that many things were lost in translation, not to mention the risky number of interpretations that could be made of one specific text... It's not a certainty) So anyway, they say LGBT+ identities are sins. But when you try to make them explain why, they either can't answer or their answer is based on their stereotypical inaccurate view of what a LGBT person is. That's why I dismiss it. Religion and faith is one thing. But my experience with christianity and spirituality have showed me that reason and facts should be what you should rely on first and foremost. Yes, even before what any religious dogma tells you to believe in or do. So if I use my reason I just see some people trying to tell me that what I do is wrong. But they can never explain correctly why. If they can't use valid arguments I have no reason to listen to them. Not to mention again, these people think they're so superior to me that they dare telling me how to live my life. Kind or not kind, these people suck so much they can't even bother to say that what they're saying is just their opinion and personal belief. No, instead they're gonna manipulate you into believing their belief is the only valid belief because "God said so". "Oh yeah?" I would say. "How are you so sure about that? Trying to understand one complex book is not enough, you know, no matter how "holy" you think it is, you're never gonna be certain you understood it correctly anyway. And honestly, mate, I've read the Bible and SO many things are contradictory and seems to clash with reality. Just because it's the holy Bible doesn't mean it shouldn't be studied critically. I don't believe in "blind faith" when it comes to books. And it's the same for ANY books. Regarding my "sin" the only way to be sure is to ask God directly aaaand ... nobody can. So why are you so pretentious you think you 100% understand God and use it as an excuse to give orders to people ? So now, stop bothering me and honestly, mate, unless someone is doing something really bothersome like killing, stealing, manipulating ect, mind your own business !" Also, regarding religion, someone very dear to me said something I think is very enlightning : "Don't use your belief as a jail, use it as a tool to make your life better" She believes the Bible is not so much to be taken as "the truth" to obey but rather as something to pounder about regarding your life and maybe gain wisdom from, if you think this is right. She thinks it's supposed to generate deep thoughts about the meaning of life. She also believe that this book is not so much the ultimate word of God but rather the testimony of various people who experienced a spiritual journey with Him. That make sense to me! That would explain the contradictory things (which honestly I can't get over with) and the fact that many supposed "laws" (especially from the Ancient Testament) are not even used today anymore (like laws regarding slavery for example). It's because before being any form of God's words, these things were written by people first and foremost ! People with a particular cultural and historical upbringing which influenced how they thought the world should work. You are free to disagree with me but that's my belief, now. Now, I have one last thing to say on religion. I left it and choose to pursue a more solo experience and my mental health got better from it. I think it's because, ultimately, a personal experience in spirituality is you trying to figure out a little bit of truth in your life while religion is you adhering to the ideas of what some people think God is like. Ultimately I think religion is still the law of men. And frankly, if these people start ordering you around and forcing their ideas into people... Well, if the believers are fine with that, good for them, but I think under any other circumstances than thinking "God told them to do that", that's what people tend to call tyranny or a cult. I'm not trying to persuade you into anything by the way, I'm just sharing my thought process. By the way, I'm coming from a place where I've TRIED my damn HARDEST to conform to these people's expectations and laws. All I got from it ,in the end, was disorders, burn out, fear, constant cognitive dissonance with the beliefs I'm supposed to have but can't agree with and depression. So thanks but no thanks, I'll stay away now and live my life peacefully the best I can. Peace on you guys 👋
Okay well I’m really sorry that I offended you... these are just my thoughts and obviously we all have different opinions on what is right or wrong according to the Bible. I chose to follow it because it brings me great peace and comfort, knowing there is a God out there who loves me and others too! You make some good points, it is still a bit of a mystery- the full truth of what God really thinks- so I think we should take it all with a pinch of salt. That’s why I made this video as I, a former trans man, got LOADS of hate from the Christian community, so I just wanted to make this video, telling fellow Christians to treat LGBT people with the love and respect they deserve. Again, I’m sorry I offended you, you don’t have to watch my videos if they’re upsetting... hope you have a good day.
@@ArtificialDreaming Okay, I understand where you're coming from. It's great if it gives you peace. It's definitely not my business, but my comment is also coming from a place of concern. As someone who had disorders and depression as a result of trying hard to meet the expectations of this religion (I personally make a difference between religion, which is following the idea of some people of what God is like and ultimately a law of men and a personal journey with God Himself which is just an attempt to gain a little bit of truth. I make a difference between the two, now) , I hope you will not be hurt by this dogma. Peace on you, have a good day.
also if someone says they dont want to be christian or be told anything related to it, dont tell them. also, the amount of people that keep saying "oh its okay to be gay, u just will live in sin" is insane, its not a 'sin'. genuinly grow up. but yeah its good that your telling people to respect others
I really appreciate the message of love an acceptance in this video! However, it is possible to be in the LGBTQ+ community and be Christian at the same time. It may seem contradictory but there are gay accepting churches out there and queer people can be religious too.
There are gay accepting churches, but that is not the original teachings of Jesus Christ and his Apostles. We must seek God first, not just what's convenient to us
It's bad enough that people who are actually saved aren't reading the Word. Scripture is more important than ever. Proverbs 10:17 Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
Have you read all of what's in the christian bible? After you've done that, give us viewers some kind of update on what religon you'll be believing then. It's worth knowing ALL of what you're supposed to believe, especially if you're telling others to online. Seriously, seriously, I will never criticise your ability to tell people they're sinning and need to stop being lgbt if you can actually back up what you're saying with full knowledge, but otherwise you shouldn't be advising other people on something this extreme. I'm trying to say this without hate, as none of this is your fault, but I just feel really strongly about this, so I hope you give my advice some consideration. Please?
Yes, yes, YES!!! She doesn't have the authority to criticise but instead of pointing that out with hate, tell her to get that authority to make these claims. She seriously should do as you say here.
We need more people like you and me in the sense that we have a past with the LGBT community but picked up the cross and followed Christ, to go out and empathically evangelize, and remind others that it's okay to struggle with temptation.
Was just saying She needs to start a group.
I was once non binary and now am Eastern Orthodox
THIS!! Yelling at someone that their existence is wrong is NOT gonna make them want to convert- I don’t know why people seem to think it will💀
He would have been gentle, loving, and thoughtful with the person.
our goal when sharing the gospel shouldn’t be to immediately produce a plant, but to instead plant a seed that, with time, can grow into something beautiful.
love the shirt btw!! sending prayers and ❤️
A to the Amen my friend!
@RandomVideoCreator2018 okay that's actually very smart, thanks dude :)
@ I appreciate it very much! And sure thing! God bless!
Jesus loves you so much and so do I!
I truly think that you’re going through this to help others who struggle with the same thing! Ik Gods going to use you for his kingdom!
Your testimony has been a great blessing to me today, thank you 🥰
i love your videos sm :) i used to make mistakes in spreading the gospel a long while ago to people in general (not specifically to the lgbt), i was so confused, and now i'm trying to be more gentle and kind and showing my love for them more!!!
@I_WILL_ALWAYS_LOVE_YOU Yay I’m happy you’re taking steps to improve sharing the word :D
Thank you!!!!
The verse you’re speaking about is 1 Peter 3:15-16, and so many people miss the second part which is to talk to people with gentleness and respect. you have encouraged me so much, so thank you ✝️❤️
You are going to help so many people with your detransition story, and God is going to use this to the full extent.
Thank you so much for this!!! God bless you for being brave enough to share this on social!!
I noticed you turned off the comment section in your last beautiful testimony on detransitioning and I just want to say that was WONDERFUL. God bless you. 🤗
It's a wonder how God can melt hearts in times of need. Like when you're down at the bottom of your luck and you need help. I was there at one point and I needed Jesus to break my chains of sin. Thank God for you. Let us all carry our crosses together. Amen ❤🤙🙏🤗🌺
This put a smile on my face, I love your videos so much and iv been thinking about this topic a lot (thank you for talking about just showing love to people, it seems like many forget we are ALL children of God and all loved by him)
I'm so proud of you. Despite all the hardships you've had to go through you were able to see it through!
This was so biblical and articulate, hope this message goes far on TH-cam and beyond. You are doing truly incredible things, praise God! ❤
you do know you’re not supposed to be friends with sinners, right?
@@prayforshijah Could you cite a verse? There are many verses that warn you about being influenced by sinners but none that say you can't be friends with one
@@paigelavergne9125 there’s plenty. read them all:
2 corinthians 6:14 - Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?”
1 corinthians 15:33 - “Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
Proverbs 13:20 -“Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm”
Proverbs 22:24-25 - “Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.”
Psalm 26:4-5 - “I do not sit with men of falsehood, nor do I consort with hypocrites. I hate the assembly of evildoers, and I will not sit with the wicked.”
2 Thessalonians 3:6 - “Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.”
James 4:4- “You adulterous people!
In the Bible it says the second greatest commandment is to "Love your neighbor as yourself" (It says the greatest commandment is to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.")
A good thing to remember is to love the sinner, not the sin itself.
As someone who sufferes with depression anxiety and a lot of other things I just want to thank you for your content and I also wanted to recommend something that has helped me I recently became one of Jehovah’s witnesses I’m not telling you to change your religion I just wanted to recommend you try it because I feel like it’s helped me a lot it’s not for everyone but stay strong I know it’s hard when you feel as if your suffocating in your mind surrounded by shadows I pray god helps you.
jehovah’s witnesses don’t even follow the bible
❤Thank you for the advice❤
PS: just saying I am happy for you, I watched one of your films before you decided to detransision, so after you appeared on my fyp it really made my day
God bless you!
Amen! Beautifully said 🙏
May God use your life in a profound way, as He already is, to bring many in the LGBT community to true repentance toward Christ! God bless you sister.
I understand preaching is a big part of some branches and overall a part of Christianity, however I feel like it becomes a little too much once you're yelling at the person /lh
So it's great to see there's still other Christians who, even w/ different interpretations, can still grasp the idea of respect towards other and actual kind preaching.
Great short video, got straight to the point, 10/10. God bless
im following your transition and im really happy w that!
I need that shirt
Very well said!! Keep praying🕊
You are amazing! Love the shirt and great message 😊🙏
So amazing! Thank you for sharing
You're SOOO adorable!!! 🥰
God Bless You, my dear 🙏💕🙏💕
Loved this!!!!!! You’re a treasure!!!!!!
I agree with everything that was said! You are amazing and I’m so glad you follow God. ❤
AYEEE THAT SHIRT IS FIRE NGL 🔥🔥😁🔥🔥
Thank you so much for this sister, this is answered prayer
Girl's speaking facts 🎀 (May God bless you)
I wanted to comment this to encourage you! You look lighter, you seem more grounded. You look happy. And the greatest testimony you can give is this one that you are giving in real time.
The Lord wants you to know in this moment how much He loves you, and how much He wants you to know it. I bless you with prosperity, empathy, a sound mind, and a heart for truth, In Jesus's name, Amen.
hey, could you give some examples of verses that would be helpful and good to tell? love the video it’s really helpful!
:000 CHRISTIAN IN THE OSC!!!!! REJOICE!!
You spoke well and you spoke honestly. Well done.
God bless you sister!❤
That was the cutest intro ever!
Summary of this Sister’s words
1) Treat them with Dignity and Respect
2) Talk them like a Human Being
3) GENTLY introduce them to the Word of the Gospel
4) GENTLY tell and show where they are going wrong
(use Bible verses)
5) Love them even while living in sin, Be Like Jesus
(Example: Jesus ate with sinners)
6) Don’t be Judgmental with their lifestyle
thank you
Thank you!
Thank you for your wise words, many Christians spreading thr gospel could have a lot to learn from this video ❤
And I pray in Jesus' name that you will be healed of your Schitzoaffective disorder and your Derealisation, my sibling in Christ 🙏 amen
Yes. We just need to plant seeds. Ur the living proof Jesus can save everyone. The Holy Spirit is powerful. Sad that they think that we are disrespecting them completely because we say that they are wrong and in sin because it becomes a part of their life 😔
We need to deny ourselves to follow God because he is the creator and we are the creation.
You are so adorable and sweet! I love your heart so much. God is going to use you!
The Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but must be gentle to everyone, able to teach, and patient, instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 2:24-25)
In the end, we're all made in the image of God, with dignity, all sinners in the hands of an angry God, and all needing of mercy.
I was living just like you were, but i changed for God like u, now i want to talk about God with my queer and non christian friends so bad, but i think i might be doing it wrongly, because it seems like they don't get me😢 but i just want they feel the same piece that i do
Amen sister
although this comment might be deleted we have to understand while yes while preaching and talking to the lgbtq you gotta stay loving and respectful we have to remember Leviticus 20:13 and etc so dont lead them deeper into their sinful lifestlyle show them the love of jesus and how great it is while telling them the truth
Beautiful, no notes😊
Love the name! Hi Milz :))
Dont know you but just wanted to say that Jesus loves you very much and is always here for you, keep going!💕💗
This is awesome 😃
Wish I could like it more than once. All we have to do is share the Gospel, following Jesus, and God will do the rest. It’s not our job to correct specific sins, that’s between God and the new follower. God has divine providence, and will show each child what to do next at the right time. This is sanctification- God showing us the way, and us following- one step at a time.
that’s not exactly true. do you think a pastor has no right to correct the members of his congregation?
@KyreynaRamirez-Relleno-ct8tw yeah sometimes it is God’s job, but the Bible does say to correct when necessary, and to only do so in a way that is beneficial and helpful to the person, and to bring no embarrassment or publicity to the situation. I know you were talking about something a little different but I just wanted to throw this out there :)
As a queer semi-Christian, I appreciate your intentions and emphasis on kindness, respect, and understanding.❤️
Just a gentle reminder that lots of people in the community have trauma around this sort of stuff, so it’s probably best to not try to bring up religion at all. We already know most consider us “wrong”, so hearing it another time likely won’t change anything except drive some away more. If you feel you must, just be prepared to back off and drop it if received negatively.❤️
I really do appreciate how much time to spent making it clear to be gentle and loving, and I don’t want anyone to take my comment as hate. Rather just another perceptive that you may have not heard before!❤️
And people can be part of the LGBTQ+ community and be Christian!
You got that right.
At the end offer to pray for the person you talk to
Great video! May I ask what church do you belong to?
amen to this
True.
I am so proud of you for detransing for Jesus! You got this!!!!❤
Your spot on my friend. Jesus is God
Amen

*Make.
very cool vid
What is your salvation theology?
Love the t shirt
Fellow LGBT person here who believe in God but left christianity. Kind or not kind, I think it is quite pretentious for any christian to affirm they know what is God's will. Just because you people read one book (the Bible) doesn't mean you suddenly know everything about what God wants for humanity. It is still a mystery for all of us, no one can know (maybe we'll know in death ?)
So because of that, I don't see why christians would affirm they know how people should live their life and make it an excuse to act like they know better than the people they talk to.
It's not a certainty)
So anyway, they say LGBT+ identities are sins.
So now, stop bothering me and honestly, mate, unless someone is doing something really bothersome like killing, stealing, manipulating ect, mind your own business !"
Also, regarding religion, someone very dear to me said something I think is very enlightning :
"Don't use your belief as a jail, use it as a tool to make your life better"
She believes the Bible is not so much to be taken as "the truth" to obey but rather as something to pounder about regarding your life and maybe gain wisdom from, if you think this is right.
Peace on you, have a good day.
you look sweet, praying for you.
You have like the cutest nose ☺️
also if someone says they dont want to be christian or be told anything related to it, dont tell them. also, the amount of people that keep saying "oh its okay to be gay, u just will live in sin" is insane, its not a 'sin'. genuinly grow up. but yeah its good that your telling people to respect others
based t-shirt 🔥
I really appreciate the message of love an acceptance in this video! However, it is possible to be in the LGBTQ+ community and be Christian at the same time. It may seem contradictory but there are gay accepting churches out there and queer people can be religious too.
There are gay accepting churches, but that is not the original teachings of Jesus Christ and his Apostles. We must seek God first, not just what's convenient to us

"Religious" isn't the same as following Christ. Repent and read the Word.
