The blueprint cabinet will cicle through certain basic blueprints during the day. You can lock a blueprint that you like, while it cycles. This is a good way to get some conveyors that you can upgrade to grabbers.
Ya, but seem like they didn't noticed that the desk did cycle different blueprint throughout the day. If not mistaken, it will advertised around 17 blueprints a day, which increasing the chances to get more conveyors or other useful items.
🤣Hi both in 16:30, you can choose the extra blueprint that you want. It's extra blueprint of your choices, but not random extra blueprint. There's roughly 17 blueprints being cycle throughout the day. If you didn't manually go and select what you want, the system will auto-pickup the last advertised blueprint which is what Rik faced in his solo play. I know it won't help you upgrade the blueprint, but it can help you increasing the chances getting more useful blueprint like prep station, conveyor or etc. Then next round you just upgrade them to grabber or frozen prep station. But ya, this desk is not convinced for single player.(As you have to interact to select the needed blueprint) So maybe you guys can use this desk when playing with multiplayer.
I loved the episode, please continue. You should swap the research area and the trash. You don't need the research stuff in the kitchen while playing, and you don't need the trash in an area you can't ever reach during gameplay.
Few random things: 1) In the Philippines they have a fast food chain called Jollibee, and one of their signatures is the spaghetti. 2) Toast flavoured milkshake would be something that could have happened in Hong Kong. I had a buttered toast nitrogen ice cream there once and it was amazing.

I think they could benefit from moving the blueprint cabinet and research desk out of the kitchen, buying 3 more tables, and having more than one dishwasher. The sack of flour could be moved to the corner since it is rarely used. Bringing the trash can back into the kitchen might help when things are accidentally burnt. moving robot mop into the kitchen as a precaution would also be preferable
I love this game so much, I have never put 40 hours into a demo before. I totally agree the game is ready for him to start being paid for, if not 1.0, then at least paid beta stage. I would happily pay 30 for this game I love it so much! I have never felt more like that meme of Fry "Shut up and take my money!" I get that AJ want to release something they can be proud of, but I want it so badly!
The demo took like 5 minutes for me before I completed it, how did you put 40 hours into it?! It's so short! Stumpt obviously has some sort of early access version that isn't the publicly available demo.
@@carlotta4th Yup they have a play key, I play with a controller, activate my keyboard, don't use that character, and I use stir fry for extra challenge at this point... I may be obsessed.
Firstly I am loving this team fusion goodness!! Also, I think it might be a help to swap the middle island oven with the frozen prep station that way Rik doesnt have to go past price to get to the extra toasts, and price can fill it more easily directly from the oven, and he doesnt have to play musical chairs as much with trying to place extra toasts as he makes them. I love this so much guys! Can't wait for next record session!!! Congrats on the franchise!!!!🏆🏆🏆
My husband and I ended up having a similar conversation after watching Boba Fett. He was the one who wanted to watch while I was like "I don't know how I feel about this." Pretty much came to the same conclusions at the end of the season. We didn't hate it though. It had some really good parts mixed in with the bad. Also yes! I would love to see more PlateUp! with Rik and Price!
This and Rounds are my favorite Stumpt series with so will be sure to seek out more episodes! So much chaotic silliness in combination with a fun podcast XD

I grew up in Oregon in the 80's and my mom said the "Don't make that face or it will get stuck that way". I remember her showing me this movie where kids would make faces, someone would pat their back, then kid's face would get stuck. I always thought that was a sick and twisted movie and it should have clued me in my mom was equally sick and twisted. 🤣 But then no one remembers that and think I'm crazy when I mention it. So glad you guys do!

Super fun episode! Super excited to see more two player plateup!!! Not sure if anyone had commented this yet, but the upgraded research desk is to help control what items you get. The desk will cycle through different blueprints and if you see one you like (like conveyors) you can interact with it to guarantee you’ll get it. It takes a bit of focus away from cooking and serving but it helps you control what items you get at the end of the day!
I don't know why they're not going into Early Access yet. There's more than enough content here for them to start being paid to have people test the game for them.
Yeah it eas weird--I'm so used to modern games just testing everything on the audience that it felt very old school NOT being able to access this game.
The chiller commentary is suprisingly fun. I love the sass and craziness of the 4 player Plate-Ups but this is really cool too. Enjoyed it more than i thought. Cheers guys ❤
i think someone is talking about a refurbished N-1 starfighter, i was honestly hoping for a Y-wing, but just because i think the Y-wing needs more love and it has a gunner positions for grugo in built. I loved the book of boba fett as i feel like it shows how boba has grown as a person and it's a believable way of his values changing, it's a slow redemption arc.
One optimisation I could think of would have been to swap the flour and frozen prep station. Less distance for Rik to travel and less likelyhood of colliding with Price near it.

Ah, so in case you don't already know, the blueprint table doesn't always give a random blueprint. You're actually able to check it throughout the day and if you see something you like on the table, you're supposed to be able to select it and choose it. But keep in mind, this may have changed with the new update from a day or two ago. They changed how the new research-style tables work. I encourage you to look at the release notes of the new update if you're curious.
You don't have to give up the upgrade desk to upgrade it, if you place the desk in the cabinet for the night, a new one will appear for sale the next day. Buying one and storing the second allows you to have the upgrade desk and either a discount desk or a blueprint desk (there are 2 things it can upgrade into not just 1).
Yeah, the blueprint desk doesn't research things, but it's the easiest way to get blueprints for things that rarer, like conveyors or prep stations or other things like that, which are essential for doing longer runs. And doing that means you can guarantee a kitchen item on a decoration day
Upgradeing the research table can also turn into the discount table wich works like the base research table but instead of upgrading blueprints it makes them cheaper
I think that the discount is run after the upgrade, so you can have research table, blueprint storage, and discount table in a row to upgrade and discount a robot mop/microwave/washing machine in one day
rik w/ the research desk you have to immediately save one in the cabinent and by another one when you get enough money so you can have two, because once you buy the research desk you sometimes will not get another one, but it is a 50/50 chance you will get the blueprint desk, so do what you will w/ that info
