MODOK'S Story (Marvel's Avengers) All Modok Scenes 1080p HD
This video is a compilation of all the scenes Modok is in in Marvel's Avengers 2020 Video game. We also included the Final Boss and Ending.
The story begins on A-Day, where five of the founding members of the Avengers - Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow and Hulk - are celebrating the unveiling of a second headquarters in San Francisco, including the reveal of their own Helicarrier, the Chimera, powered by a Terrigen Crystal. The ceremony soon goes awry when a terrorist attack led by Taskmaster results in the Golden Gate Bridge and most of the city being destroyed and Captain America's apparent death. In addition, the destruction of the Terrigen Crystal has caused the spread of Terrigen Mist, which turns countless regular people into superpowered beings known as Inhumans. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband.
Five years later, the rebuilt San Francisco is now under the control of a science-based organization called A.I.M. led by George Tarleton, and superheroes-including those who were members of the Avengers-are outlawed. With the world in peril once more, teenager and Inhuman Kamala Khan uncovers both her new superpowers and a shocking conspiracy regarding A.I.M. She embarks on a quest to reassemble Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and uncover the true culprit behind the A-Day incident.

When this infamous game has a much more well written and complex depiction of M.O.D.O.K. than an approximately $200 million dollar film from a nearly 15 year old film franchise

I was dying laughing at modok when I saw Ant Man 3. He was so funny looking. It’s sad how this game had the best modok and the MCU couldn’t do it

PhanThief95 Why should they care wether or not MODOK is “believable”? He’s a man who underwent an experiment to increase his intelligence that led him to have a overdeveloped head which required him to need a flying chair for mobility. That’s not a too outlandish concept for audiences to get behind. If people can believe that gamma radiation caused a man to be able to turn into a hulking green giant than people can buy MODOK just fine.
I think she’s a clone in the scene when she gets injected, due to her eyes being different colors. If I remember correctly all the scenes before this one she had the same color in both eyes
@@ryancarson6962 I think they meant that MODOK runs the risk of looking quite goofy in live action, but the design they chose here for the game's realistic style is quite good.
Ryan Carson It’s more that MODOK’s design from the comics and animated shows makes him too goofy to be taken seriously in live action. With how he was done in the Avengers game, it showed how he could work for live action.

Can’t believe they chose to leave the character as a joke in the movies over this. Especially having it be the wrong guy.
To be fair, 9/10 MODOK is played for laughs. But this is a really rare case of him done well, and they should've taken advantage of it

She was an human with latent Inhuman genes who’s powers were activated by a Terrigen Bomb that spread Terrigen Mists everywhere. You would’ve actually known that had you actually done your research. When I first saw MODOK, I found it difficult to take him seriously. But after seeing him in this game, I now realise he’s more dangerous than we realise. It’s good to see he finally has a spotlight. They actually turned a comedic character into a dangerous one.
They changed his powers I think. In the comic's it was psionics such as forcefields as well as mind control. Here it's "technokinesis" combined with his own upgrades and technology

These muh fuccas only know him from the cartoons (where most, if not all the time, his name is "MODOC", With the "C" standing for "Conquest" replacing the "K" for "Killing"). If they bothered to read the original Eastman/Laird Ninja Turtles comics, their heads would probably explode.
Modok is quite cool in this game. It was interesting seeing his head grow, the ability to control machinery with your mind reminds me of how Doc Oc can control his arms with the chip on the back of his neck.
Not to mention the in PS4 Spiderman game, Doc Ock got the tech needed to move his prosthetic limbs from AIM, so maybe it’s the same tech, or something similar, to what MODOK possess’s here.
Kevin feigi has said that there are plans for MODOK in the mcu

It was stated in an interview with the directors of agents of sheeld that they originally was planning on using modok but Kevin refused and said “we got plans for the character”
Maybe Rhys Ifan or Peter Sarsgard can play as the live action MCU version of Dr.George Tarleton aka MODOC/MODOK in future MCU films! ;D

Kang was on a list of rumoured characters, events and moments to appear in Ant-Man 3. And so was MODOK.
As of now, every one of those things has been confirmed... Except for MODOK.
Take it with a grain of salt, but if we're going to be subjective I'd say it's but officially confirmed he'll be in Ant-Man 3.

So here is the theory, the 'Monica' killed was actually a clone, considering the color of her eyes are different. The real Monica has been the mastermind of the whole event, AIM is actually a terrorist group, here could be related to HYDRA.
And the Kree Sentinel? That could be a sign that Kree will shows up, and Captain Marvel as well.
Ms marvel is a big captain marvel fan and captain marvel is constantly fighting the kree and the skrulls. So it's kinda obvious
I'm inclined to agree as I studied the eyes after her explanation of the issues with the inhuman that could clone themselves. Noticed that "Monica's" eyes in that scene were different, and that they were identical in the post-credits scene, where they make a point to hit that close-up shot.
I feel like this pretty much HAS to be what happened. All the evidence points to it.
- Monica didn't physically appear any different in the post-credits scene, which she definitely should have done IF she had actually been injected with the serum (look at what the same serum did to Tarleton)
- She had also already mentioned the potential for cloning long before that final scene
- Considering the way she previously saw Tarleton lose his s**t in an instant and toss the Abomination around like a tiddlywink, it makes sense that she would want to protect herself by sending decoys to speak to him in person
- The lore collectibles also make it abundantly clear that Monica was the real puppeteer behind A.I.M. and could play Tarleton like a fiddle without him knowing it
that isn't a theory you just described what happens in the game

It’s a crying shame this was a video game. The story is honestly great, but the gameplay made it such an unenjoyable experience that I never even tried to appreciate it.
It almost seems like Monica bred Modok to act the way he does the whole way. Having him kill her clone and then she sits back until the secret ending.
I love how Marvel games are humanizing their villains now and making them believable. MODOK, a more under the radar avengers villain, got the full Doc Ock treatment
When I first saw that guy in the limo scene I thought he was the leader because of how big and similar their heads were then.

jericho garry They only showed the Leader in a one-shot comic about what Nick Fury got up to before the events of The Avengers. Black Widow infiltrated the lab before the cops could while the Hulk and Abomination were fighting. She stumbled on the Leader who immediately reduced the village in Russia she was from just from traces in her accent. He offered her a job for his world domination schemes and she promptly shot him in the knee. SHIELD took him into custody. So anticlimactic.
The people who never took MODOK seriously before this game have never read the comics. Dude’s a force to be reckoned with and is damn terrifying. He was such a big threat that it took the combined effort of the Avengers, Inhumans, and the X-Men to take him down. MODOK is portrayed beautifully here and pretty accurate.
But people just take one look at him and think, “HURHURHUR BIG HEAD!!”

AIM called him the Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing, or MODOC, because he was created to simply compute and study the Cosmic Cube, but after he killed the Scientist Supreme and took over, he renamed himself the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, or MODOK.

Another game where the villain is possibly the best part about it. I actually feel sympathy for this guy. He was flawed in his execution, but all he really wanted to do was help mankind. Kinda like Thanos with his kind and nobody listened to them. The difference is that George was just being used by Monica the whole time. Pretty decent writing imo
Except his idea of ''getting rid of all superpowers'' makes no sense in a universe with Superpowered aliens that no amount of human technology can match. So the moment MODOK succeeds, it will be the end of Earth by alien conquest.

Tarleton was infected with the same stuff Kamala had but was closer and in the blast radius. Monica found him and so he won't die, gave him blood from Captain America
Don’t know how I feel about the mechanical arms they just seem to give me doc Oct vibes but I don’t think this is the last of MODOK and they’ll probably change his design to keep him fresh for his next appearance

I liked how we seen George change into modok bit by bit, can't remember the last time I played a game which switched back to see the villian slowly morph into the big bad we know they'll become, also never heard of modok before so good to see old characters commin to light.

I feel like his story could have been *so* much more interesting if his mission was genuinely a misguided attempt to honor Cap's perceived sacrifice, but his transformation made him slowly, but steadily more insane. Could have been better.
Never have I ever secen Modok like this before now maybe the MCU can have him in live action perhaps with the Avenger's.

I loved MODOK in this game he was scary and very believable but the only thing i was wondering is if he is dead or not we see him falling into the ocean, unconsious i assume, with all the tech he has he would also weigh a few hundred pounds. But he could have survived i think. Sad they didn't expand on that, or maybe he will come back for the next game🤔

Man this Modok is my new number one favorite version my second was Modok Ironman Adventures, I love his voice, he really means business, determine about his beliefs, and his design is amazing they made it cinematic realistic in the games universe. I want to see what the MCU do with this character I wonder how much of a threat he will be, and before people say it I get he’s suppose to be outlandish like the cartoons and other comic I like some of his outlandish versions like Earths Mightiest Hero’s, but since he’s in the mcu he has to prove he’s capable, dangerous, and threatening enough to kill anyone who makes fun of his head.

Spider-Man by far. The gameplay in Spider-Man is much superior and we also enjoyed the story better. To give credit to this game, it does have a ton of content and it was made to be played with others to get the full experience. We played solo and didn’t get the co-op experience.
Why wasn't this guy the main villain in Ironman 3?
My only guesses are:
They wanted to save MODOK for a future movie (people are currently guessing in Ant Man 3)

At the time, MODOK's design could be really tricky to turn live action if you wanted to stay true to the original character

Same, he had good intentions but that syrum from cap keeping him alive slowly turned him insane. It was against his will, and if he didn't take it he'd die. Monica is the real villain, she didn't care about keeping MODOK alive since she happily takes over AIM when he dies, she was just keeping him alive to test stuff on him. Like MODOK said he was basically just her lab rat.

I feel like this game was made as a testing ground for how the fans would react to potential story lines involving modok and Kamala.
With all the Marvel shows they producing for Disney+, Modok’s time has definitely come.
That thing put his DNA in Monica so he's controlling her. He knew the avengers would kill him and he knew he was the thing he always hated and wanted to die. Modok lives through Monica. #youhearditherefirst
The Monica that got injected with serum is actually a clone of real Monica watch her eyes closely her left eye is green and her right eye is blue. The real Monica is seen at the end credit scene she is not infected.

Holy shit, MODOK is written as good as Doc Ock in Spiderman PS4. Stuff like this made me like villains from the games than the movies.
