Dave, I appreciate you speaking out for holiness. What I'd like to figure out is how you didn't see this unholy thing coming, and tackled it long ago. Many watchers have been revealing the hypocrisy and lies for years now, like Dave Kozar on his channel "messed up church". I also don't understand why you hold in high esteem those leaders who surrounded Mike for all these years without revealing his sinister practices. I was also attending a local house of prayer. When I tried to make the local director aware of the lies and irregularities of Mike and Bob Jones, he would not hear me and refused to investigate it himself. It seems that there is a culture of turning a blind eye to the calls of the whistle blowers, with the excuse that they don't want to hear gossip. Please take note of credible whistle blowers in future. They serve a great purpose in the body of Yeshua. My prayers are with you.
will they report to authorities all the things this leader did to the teenage ladies? or will he go without jail time like all the catholic pedophiles? shouldnt protestants do things different and bring some justice to be an example to the world? yes pray for the bad leaders for hopefully healing and repentance to touch their souls but justice needs to happen
The more I learn about the IHOPKC scandal the more I feel like puking. The two main channels I been listening to is the brothers over at The Remnant Radio and the Wake up and Win Podcast and those from the Advocate group. What I don't understand is did not some who were in leadership at IHOP not see weird things like Mike Bickle spending hrs regularly with a married women behind a closed and locked door?...that we now know was married to Mark that she had an affair with Mike Bickle's son, Luke Bickle. The lives they destroyed is insurmountable. Then the whole Misty Edwards scandal that broke that she was living a double life having an affair with a man that was married to Mike Bickle's sister Shelly Bickle and she was abusing Alcohol.
The levels of evil going on at the top of the organization is just mind boggling. The levels of manipulation and blackmail is truly astonishing. I just do not understand how anyone did not see something or question things like that is weird. Just the cover up and retaliation against "whistle blowers" makes the whole organization look very bad. I believe IHOPKC is done and should shut down. Its over there is no recovering from the levels of evil and cover up that was going on.

There is a reason why King David said when God gave him a choice of discipline: Then David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Let us fall into the hand of the LORD, for his mercy is great; but let me not fall into the hand of man.”
God does much simultaneously. On the one hand, God was trying to bring Mike Bickle to a place of repentance, on the other God still uses ministers while doing so FOR THE SAKE OF THE PEOPLE. Yes, Mike, the human was sinning and, yes, God still used him minister to His people. Nothing will come to light unless God wants it to. In the same vein, nothing is hidden if God wants it exposed. In my experience, God gave Mike and others ample time to repent, and He only exposed because it didn't happen, God brought judgment and discipline. It's happening in many areas of a lifestyle of unrepentant sin. But God judgment doesn't negate His love.
Please study hum@n tr@fficking. She has been severely psychologically abused. Out of her own mouth, she said she did "whatever he wanted." Come on...she didn't live with him bc she loved him. She also used drugs and alcohol bc she was medicating her horrific trauma. She sincerely loves the Lord and needs trauma therapy and our prayers.

Abba used IHOP to help restore my Wife and I 12 years ago from divorce. We are celebrating 45 years of marriage bc Jesus used them. I will always be forever grateful

Thank you for your comments. I appreciate your comments about going back to the Word and listening to what the Spirit is saying and not just what others tell us the Spirit might be saying. I am often reluctant to speak because what I see is often contrary to what the "big names" say. Just this past weekend, i was encouraged by people in our fellowship to "speak up." Thank you. This was just one takeaway i received from your video.

Thanks for doing this, Dave. I did wonder about your thoughts and how you were processing this. I very much appreciate your talk on what true accountability looks like. You know I have long believed in a simpler version of Eccesia, more like the NT version that met in houses daily, ... and functional gifts sprung up among the believers. It wasn't Hierarchichal, organization focused institutions. If we met like that, there would be no celebrity ministers, and accountability would be on a local relational basis like you suggest here.

What you said about the children is so true. I grew up in a house of prayer in Macon Georgia and also ihop Atlanta. I’m 29 now but I grew up listening and learning from Mike. Also wonderful people like Allen Hood and Corey Russel. I have been playing drums in those houses for 20 years, literally. The teachings I learned from those men stick with me today. As a house of prayer kid I absolutely looked and thought of Mike as this incredibly “holy” man on an unhealthy level. As I grew older I began to understand he’s just a man but still even today before this happened I wouldn’t question much of his teachings. This hurts a lot it’s a level of hurt that can’t be explained. You just think this could never happen. Mike could never do something like this. Sadly he’s a broken man just like the rest of mankind. Children must be taught Jesus is above all. Teachers/Preachers cannot be idolized. It’s very unhealthy. Even though all this brokenness God still sits on the throne and is worthy of it all.

I think we all look for a preacher or teacher who checks all the boxes and become one we can fully trust. In all my 44 years as a born again Christian, I've never found one preacher with whom I agree and trust 100%. Never. I started to think there was something wrong with me always finding fault (teaching-wise) or something I disagree with. It seemed painful to me until I realized I was in a better position to not be duped - although I have been before a number of times. Be a noble Berean and search the scriptures yourself to see if what is being preached to you is the truth. Always stay on guard and be careful who you listen to and take heed how you hear. Always. We can be guilty of hearing what we want to hear even when reading the Bible.

I’m beginning to see this is men loving man they all speak about these men in a weird way they have to have respect for them. There’s some kind of hierarchy thing that’s disgusting has been at heart are any better than this guy on this video so decrepit
start by repenting from the entire "forerunner" elitist label this movement perpetuated. i agree with Jack Deere on this. Time to look at the foundation. When Jones, Cain and now Bickle are the main voices that launched this whole thing and all three led life-long, secret, sin-filled lives, I refuse to believe God set them about the rest and gave them special callings and anointings. I have to think of Matt 24 warnings from Jesus, 'did we not prophesy and do miracles in your name' and he answers 'depart from me i never knew you'. If they and all their fruit isn't fulfilling that prophecy from the Lord, then I don't know what does. God loves prayer, but it cannot substitute for all around obedience to God. And nothing in Scripture indicates that we're called to 24/7 prayer - nothing. And we're certainly NOT claiming that our 24/7 prayer efforts are going to bring in the judgements of God and the return of Christ. That's all false theology and has to be viewed as deliberate lies/deception OR they were completely taken in by demonic spirits and given false spiritual encounters. Do you really want to try to build on a demonic foundation? Or do we lay the axe to the root and repent of it all.
Never thought I'd say this but....I don't know who needs to hear this but God can use ANYONE or anything to speak to us. Even a Coldplay song. That does not mean Coldplay is your new pastor or you should follow them. It just means God is never limited in ways to get messages to you and this should direct us to the Bible and His Word, not the place or thing through which God spoke.
My friend. I have sat here and listened to you go on and on about "holiness'" and "prophetic ministries".... I would have to go back and look...., but I can't remember you saying one word about Christ. How do you know you aren't still being deceived?
2 minutes in and I personally am checking out. You seem to be painting the horse and sprinkling glitter on the saddle with little bells and bows. Then add a camera with some lights and you got a new "celebastor".
But it's the same horse and old worn out saddle. We've seen this dog and pony show before. Why don't you use discernment, stop twisting then adding to God's Word. Everything that pertains to life will be found in Scripture alone. If you try to "listen" for God's voice outside of that, 100% you'll be deceived. Ask me how I know? I got scars from my foolishness. So so important to study the Bible and praying for discernment, in context, pray wisdom and actually get what God is really saying and put it into practice ,teach the children, obedience to God's tried, tested by fire, proven word of truth, that has stood the test of time, a more sure word of prophecy, made sure, When The Holy Spirit of God dwells in you He is at work both to will and to do His will in us, perfecting us as we are His workmanship created for goods works He has prepared us to walk in before we were even born. It is all God's work in us, as we yeild. Trust ,believe what God said He will also Work His righteousness ,holiness in us and we live one day at a time , say no to our flesh ,yes to the Spirit. Knowing what the works of the flesh are verses the fruits of the sin nature . Yes Jesus Christ came to set the captives free from our sin nature. Growing and yielding daily to God's word and believing You have the power of the Holy Spirit to obey the Holy Spirit, Paul said I die daily, but God convicts, empowers and does it in us , His Glory not ours Amen
One part I want to say yes it's good to have a place of prayer 24/7. However the idea behind it being to usher in Christ Return as the church goes through the tribulation and that God told him to do that more specifically according to mike he had to pull away from Vyinard organizations because Mike was submitting to the fear of man and start ihop. now granted if your of the theological mind set the church must go through the tribulation you may not have an issue with that. But even if you'rer of that persuasion we have to ask wold God command a man with such un repentive sin in his life. I'm not sure if God would. But since I'm not of the theological mindset, the church must go through the tribulation, and then I have to wrestle the idea even if Mike did not do what he did. I have to wrestle with the idea that Mike heard God and a good portion of the body of Christ is decived and has to fallow suit especially the churches in the KC area they would have to center their ministries around Ihopkc.
I shared two recent videos that highlighted my doctrinal differences with IHOP.
I see you as seeking truth. How to obey the lord and get to the truth in matters, dialogue. Prayer, humility, respect for one another and if you don't see things eye to eye,you need to be honest. Discern, listen to one another ,the lord is faithful to bring truth if people want truth, also mercy, wisdom, understanding, love, in essentials of the faith ,agreement, in non esstials of the faith you can have difference of opinions , in all things love, purity. Humility, respect and honor one for another, not super saints loading it over others, leadership yes ,but the body working together as a team, honesty, obedience to the word if God who seek God in prayer to lead your prayer meeting, . Less you brother ,all stay humble ,teachable, honesty , Amen.

I hope IHOPKC shuts down and all their donors file lawsuits to get their money back, and the victims file lawsuits for the damage and devastation they have caused. Rebranding this organization is not going to cut it. It's shameful! Go get regular jobs and stop lying to the public.

Much injustice and abuse was done to young people. Do not justify what happened by IHOPKC books and messages etc . Bickle preached and taught on Marriage and Holiness. This is not a real answer to what happened. This is just your beliefs

The Lord rebuke you, for the sake of all the children and young women and young men, who have had their lives blighted and twisted by Mike Bickle and his leadership team, the Lord rebuke you. You could have investigated, but you didn’t. You came down on their side with no real reason behind it . the Lord rebuke you. He will not stop his church from becoming pure and holy , there are not some lives that are worth more than others some expendable women and expendable men for the great ones.
