The only reason why this feels more possible to do than a straight 1v1 is because while Doremy lacks badges, he instead has attacker bonus from having 3 attackers. (...of course Doremy would still have to do the 1v1 had he succeeded but still...) EDIT: of course being on solo team is harder cus of the higher amount of time spent clearing garbage

late reply but yes, there is a garbage limit. If the bar is full, even if his opponent sends more attack, the garbage queue amount remains the same. also, garbage can be stalled if you clear at least 1 line, hence why he sometimes chooses to clear only 1 line instead of multiple one, so he can stall. not only am i the only one curious about the strategy behind a lot of the stalling (though i imagine that has to do with the max lines one is capable of receiving at once?), i also find myself highly irritated at the ability to rotate pieces that clearly can't move, and other pieces rotating in place, for these purposes. guideline, i tell ya. it makes no sense.
I have a legit question: Why players like Doremy and Amemiya looks so much better than those champions at classic Tetris tournaments? I know classic Tetris is a different game, but the gameplay is so much slower, looks like Doremy and other players from these modern Tetris games would crush those classic players.
classic tetris requires a very different skillset! the pieces would almost instantly lock down, and the speed would make it insanely hard to keep a good stack. just like i would probably win against classic tetris players in modern tetris, i would get absolutely crushed by every single one of them in classic tetris because it requires a skillset i do not have.
I dont know really, but its possibly because on classic tetris when the piece touches anything you cannot stall, so it is placed instantly, and they have mastered where to place precisely to never missdrop, because if that happens, you are mostly dead. Not really sure of this but this is what I think it is the reason ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Badges are basically damage multiplier. You can get 4 badges maximum. (100%) You earn a badge for every person you KO-ed (if you see 'coins' flowing from somewhere to the current player's board then that person has been k.o-ed by you, and you earned a badge.) If someone has badges, and then be k.o-ed, then all of their badges will move to the a person killing them. The rightmost mode of attack you see on the top of the board will specifically target the person with the most badges.
