Completely agree. The game oozes fun. It helps every character is essentially "broken" is some shape or form. Makes the game more interesting when everyone can do cool and wacky shit.
It’s both the most fun and infuriating fighting game I’ve played recently.
The Ranked experience has been me shouting “WHY” and “HOLY SHIT” alternatively.

As much as I want to enjoy the game, the cracks are already visible; every character is either a mid-range or zoner makes the neutral game pointless especially since the defensive options such as your roll mechanic is horrible. This problem is going to manifest when people begin to optimize their combos. The game is all fun until you have to block. And speaking of block it's kinda bullshit that you can't block in the air.
Been the saltiest ive been in a ranked mode tho cuz of how bullshit characters are
I love how Trouble Shooter says “Rolling” when he rolls. Gotta love a gentle reminder.
It's honestly one of the strangest sound effects in the entire game. I don't know why he would yell that out while rolling. XD

I just noticed this, but his sword doesn't actually makes explosions when he swings it on his own. He actually straps bombs to the sword and they explode on impact. Cool!

I think his sword was meant to be that way instead of just pure melee slicing/cutting tool
His sword looks thicker and edges are not that defined.
I'm just speculating this because I have never played dnf franchise the fighting game, so I think its has both form and function as a bomb strapping sword
@@chrisprobablyananimator5082 you are correct as the sword is intentionally made to be very sturdy so it can resist explosions and even bullet hits thus acting as a melee weapon and a shield if required. the Troubleshooter is the explosive expert of the Company after all and they combine their explosive knowledge with their sword combat and gun combat.

Got to love how in spite of a character who looks 90% like Max, Modders out there were like, "WE NEED THAT OTHER 5%!"

It's honestly warms my heart seeing Max vibe with the character that looks like him.
I sure hope that deal to record dialogue for the Max mod on Troubleshooter happens and all his lines are ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT
If the devs came to my house, looked me in the eyes and told me Troubleshooter wasn't based on Max i still wouldn't believe them.

nevr played a fighting game before and picked this up and after reading all the attributes and sharp shooter having easier moves to do i decided to pick him and try to learn him. enjoy watching your videos as it gives me some new ideas!
I just realized when Trouble Shooter uses the explosive slash he actually has grenades strapped to his sword, that's so fuckin neato

Everyone on dnf duel be doing combos like they've been playing this game for 6 years but the game just released not too long ago
The combos are easy
Thanks to the tutorial being more useful than the typical fighting game tutorial(by being there to begin with), everyone can have an idea of what the game has in mind in terms of combos( DNF being reliant on OTG pickups to extend combos compared to something like KoF or MeltyBlood) and get in immediately.
Now if they can tell us how to use defensive options the game surely has...
combo trials in this game are pretty good and give a good sense of what can be done with the character
Cause it's piss easy it's not even a need to do the input motions

Troubleshooter just straight up turns Max into an actual gorilla and I'm here for it.
Loved seeing that Grappler do one of the tutorial combos. That's how you know he's putting in the hours. Love this game
That full screen run up grab was so dumb that it somehow wrapped around and turned into a big brain moment lmfao
Full screen run into throw and empty jump throw are two of my favorites techs in this game lol

Hey max I found it more consistent to macro dash into oppression from down standard B into down special rather than using neutral special. It also gives around 20 more damage.

man... the grappler guy was playing so honestly, but you DO, as in every fight game, YOU SPAM GRAB.
Love how Max kept winning with the "hand activating explosions" pose.
Yeah, it's literally just grab to win which the Hitman player was also doing.
"You failed to grab? JUST GRAB AGAIN!" If it works it works.
I also like how Trouble Shooter can combo his grenade net into the grab to get even bigger air time to set more things up.

Man I really wish they made dash much faster because this feels unbearably slow sometimes. Especially when dash attacks or lunges are so much faster.
The ease of execution in this game means that it's probably the only one where I would want to learn a setup character like troubleshooter.
I'm thinking on getting this game pr strive. Strives on sale for 35, but this game looks more my speed
I have both and from what I’ve played from strive, rounds can probs go just as quick. But I am absolutely loving DNF everyone explodes, maybe due to the lack of a defensive option and combo breaker
I got both and like both but this game more fun atm and a breath of fresh air for fighting games atm.
This game does cost about 50 US dollars though not sure the region pricing for you. Might be able to get both honestly.

I want to see your Troubleshooter go up against a good Lost Warrior. I've been messing around with him a lot, and he has so many tools to deal with zoners, it's nuts. I'm curious to see how a competent zoner player would deal with all that.

In DnF duel what happens if medium button and magic button is pressed when jumping; which button comes out first. Secondly if jump medium is pressed can it be quickly linked to air magic button or is the link height sensitive? Thanks

Who have you played against the most, and who's your worst match-up? I'm surprised to see so many Grapplers in silver, my worst enemies are Swift Master and Lost Warrior.
Max has a little problem whenever striker shows up on the other side. TM doesn't have the nicest safest button he can throw out in neutral. He also has trouble making Her stop doing divekicks(He either chooses to DP - which rarely works - or doing the alpha counter to get striker off his back. Which sucks since it uses 100 percent of the bar) He has to play tight and only throw out a button once striker does a button first, at which point its a coin toss whether he gets to convert or not. Once he gains momentum, though,. he can wall carry into oki pressure or bomb net throw loops.
Anyways other than that, Dragon Knight stumps him still. He doesn't know how to get around the Dragon. Swift Master isn't a problem right now, since no one seems to know how to do mixups with that kid. And Kunoichi is something he's confident in fighting. Wining against a Kunoichi, otoh...

I know it's random, but seeing that Vanguard match made me think that if any character gets an air dash in this game it's just over for the rest of the cast.

@@RavenCloak13 only when orb is up and that disappears in a few seconds or when he gets hit. So dragon knight can fly during neutral better.

Well if we go with the logic she doesn't have it free. Takes a good amount of her meter and yeah she can get it back fast but Swift Master can as well and he only really needs to throw out one orb to get the ball rolling. He has so many near meterless combos of the orb alone.
@@RavenCloak13 thats him doing it on advantage, he needs to throw it out first and anyone with decent range can slap him during neutral as he does it. DK can just dash, but yes, both use meter.
A character that can just create the corner whenever he wants AND has normals that cover tons of screen space AND has projectiles? Lol... Ik this game hasn't been out long, but I won't be surprised if tier lists are placing Crusader at the top. That character barely has to play neutral and he LITERALLY doesn't have to earn his way to the corner. Doesn't look fun to face at all.
Commenters am i the only one that thinks Inquisitor is pretty bad? She doesnt have the buttons that all the others have (except grappler and fighter) and i find winning neutral and escaping pressure with her is really hard.

Still petty new and he's been going off with just the normal combos. Might no even remember most the time he has it focusing on specific aspects. Still need to learn some conversion shit to in fights.
I think these are launch day matches, by now he uses the drink skill very often.
