The one little moment where aelwyn asks if adaine wants to go look at their old burned down house together was so relatable as someone who's apartment burned down lmao
Brennan has often said he admires people who aren’t afraid to be mean because he himself is paralyzed with a desire to make everyone around him comfortable and happy
I love that not only has Aelwyn mellowed out a bit but Adaine has also developed a bit of vindictive streak after being kidnapped last season, so now the two of them are MUCH closer in temperament now. But like in a healthy way
Love how both of them like the Jawbone and fam but the positivity in there is unfamiliar to both of them coz their own family is strict and mean so they appreciate them but also “please no stop im fine being mean is fine its just a little squabbling no harm intended stop being so concerned and nice all the time its weird” 😂 the Abernant sisters have cat personalities , that’s canon now
I love Aelwyn's arc throughout the last 3 seasons of this show. It's kind of insane that we got to see this NPC develop so much over such a long period of time now. She has one of the more interesting personalities from NPCs in any DND show I've seen. It's just not a character type I see a lot.
I can’t imagine where Adaine would be if Aelwyn’s arc didn’t go that way. I grew up in an abusive home too and I’d be nowhere without my sister to get through it.
"We all hurt from time to time" into "I'm moving" absolutely breaks me every time. Jawbone is the best of men but the most wholesome man ever is definitely too much when you are just recovering from being a villain.
As someone who grew up with a sibling where we never got along and were frequently antogonistic to each other, to growing very close as adults, Adaine's and Aelwyn's relationship is so relatable and really accurate! Especially how they have unconditional love for each other but continue to have very casual interactions.
Brennan is great for having created such depth for an NPC, but let’s not forget to give credit to Siobhan for also giving tender love and care towards Adaine’s own connection to Aelwyn. As someone with siblings, their interactions are so grounded and true to life, i love it ❤
It didn't get huge reactions at the table, but the Adaine/Aelwyn scenes are some of my favorite of this season. Brennan and Siobhan play so well off of each, you'd think they were actual siblings.
You can tell how much brennen likes an npc based off of how much body language he puts into it and that alone tells you that he loves aylwin as much as I do bro
Siobhan is my favorite intrepid hero by far, because her acting barely feels like one, she literally embodies the character and it's wonderful. The first season of D20 I watched was Unsleeping City, and I thought that Siobhan (the player) was a bit exuberant and self-centered, but then I was absolutely blown away when I watched season 2 of Unsleeping City and to see her play such a subtle and subdued character with Iga Lisowski. I was blown away again with Riva because I was literally witnessing a different person.
Does anyone know how Adaine knew that Aelwyn was working for kipperlilly when her phone said "O.K". I don't see how those can be her initials unless it was one of her names

@@daphneglasurus7886 cut back to K (Erika) "Evan doesn't think he's good unless he's useful" and Brennan got sniped out-of-character

They're both snarky towards one another, but in a "I rag you because I love you" kind of way
@@logicaloverdrive8197 Legit captures that feeling of "We're both survivors of the same toxic, abusive relationship with our parents"
adaine going ‘if kipperlilly’s parents were boring she should have just killed them’ is peak aelwyn

I live for Aelwyn ribbing Adaine for being sentimental and not knowing what ambrosia is, she sounds so delighted and fond. It's precious!

Man, I can tell she was getting desperate to come up with another nickname for Kindlefire Capsaicin.
As long as you say anything starting with k and c you can always come up with a name for kickball centerfield
Benedict Cumberbatch
HawaiianPizza CapriSun

yeah no that’s absolutely just misty/rowan. siobhan can lose herself in a character
I feel like Aelwyn in this season is what Azula from Avatar would have been if she ever got a redemption arc.
Oh my god this is SO accurate.
"How very tender" that was wonderful
I hope Senior Year involves these two finding their mom and getting their inheritance
The Abernant sisters my beloveds ❤❤❤
24:58 she got it during Fabian’s bad day
thank you for this
Now I’m wondering where the money came from. Was it her parents despite Aewlyn believing it wasn’t? Was it Jace or Porter? Oisin’s ancestor?
She’s a mastermind rogue
She probably plays the stock market
Or rigs dog races or whatever
How old is aelwyn?
Wiki says 18 but i would have figured 19-20ish. Thought she was a junior when adaine started hs.
She has to be 20 by now since the kids are Juniors.
20 now I believe
Around 20 I believe. She's a little older than Ragh but in the same year I think
Enough ;)

There was branding on some campaign merch, I wanna say the packaging from food trucks, kipperlily bought for the school.
